Purchased a van and give a non refundable deposit (Mistake), van has way more damage than pictures showed but they said in description bodywork clean. Landed over from Ireland to collect, told me there was no log book. Told me to drive to main Birmingham post office in the van I just bought of them to get emergency tax (Yes they expected me to drive illegally into a city in a damaged van). Absolutely no help whatsoever, barely spoke whole time I was there. Nobody took charge or inititive. Give me the impression they were a complete cowboy outfit. Never buy anything of them unless you see it 1st and if there is no logbook make sure they cover costs. In my case they ran off after they give me the keys of van. Left between a rock and hard place. They have replied saying review not genuine. Numberplate SA67JJF, bodywork condition clean, £1000 non refundable deposit, £1600 paid on arrival. Given keys walked off, asked for log book 1st guy walked away then 2nd guy said head into Birmingham's main post office and get emergency tax. Walked off. Baring in mind I just got a taxi from airport and had no transportation, If I hadn't of given such a daft deposit I would of walked away. Bodywork was far from clean, bottom sills bent, non repairable, the door was damaged but I was aware of that. Gearbox had issue again I was aware of that and was expected because of price however I had no choice to change and when I arrived I was standing in your hall for 15 minutes ignored by all. Here is a few of the dents I couldn't see from pics. I'm sure the office of 6 young fellas will have a good laugh at this review

Van station were great. Really friendly staff who take their time to help you find the right vehicle in their big fleet of vans. Mick the delivery driver who brought my van was also super friendly and really efficient, I'd give him 10 stars if i could.

Avoid like the plague!
This company has will happily take ££££ and completely lie about the van forsale. Supposedly ready to go straight back on road with a little welding. Engine supposedly ran mint. In the end I gave up the battle and let them steal my money and had to physically scrap the van. I didn't even get to drive it 1 mile because it was so dangerous. (I am a welder and it was beyond welding. Whole chassis front to back rotten, arches, cross members you name it. I am a restoration garage and I was supposedly going to start a great relationship with purchasing from them. That ended extremely quickly..... Please never purchase anything from them no matter how cheap or good of a deal it might be because I guarantee it has hidden issues. We buy any van wouldn't even purchase this tat....

Had two vehicles, both not as described, underlying issues, should of worked it out when paying we buy broken vans for the vehicles.
The prices do not reflect the state of the vehicle and it makes them look like crooks. I have no got a clue how trading standards have not shut this lot down yet. The complaints and court cases against them is horrendous.
Wish I came here first.

Professional, honest and a good experience overall. Visited for the first time where I was welcomed by the sales team. I was given all the time needed to look through so many vehicles. And they guided me when I needed help. Don't normally like making a decision without going away but they answered all questions and was very happy with the test drive.
Vehicle is spot on and can't complain for the price.

Very pleased with the overall experience buying a van with these guys.
Left a small deposit over the phone and by the afternoon my vehicle was delivered.
Delivery was professional and kept me updated with an ETA.
Had enough time to check the vehicle over. There were a few age related issues but nothing unexpected for the age. The team sent me over videos before purchase and made me feel more confident purchasing without visiting first.
I will be informing my friends and family to come to Vanstation!

Great service from start to finish. Saw an ad on Ebay on Saturday evening, dropped a message to them, not expecting a response until Monday, nope replied within an hour. Had various messages back & forth, Phil then rang on Sunday morning to go through things. Car was delivered to my house on Anglesey (bearing in mind the company are based in Solihull) at 11am Monday morning, delivery driver was lovely, sent messages & rang us to let us know his progress. To get fair I was a tad anxious but turns out there was no need, the car was as stated, no issues at all. Fantastic service, will recommend to others & use again should the need arise. 5*.

I spotted a Transit Connect on Facebook and messaged Vanstation about it. They invited me down to take a look, so I went over, but when I arrived, I was surprised to find way more vans than I expected! I ended up spending about three hours just browsing.

After checking out six small vans I liked, Tom from the team was super helpful in guiding me through the choices. I eventually decided on a Caddy, which I drove home and couldn’t be happier with. The whole experience was great, from the free drinks on-site to the excellent service and great prices. I’ll definitely be recommending Vanstation to my family and friends!

AVOID IF YOU KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOU..!! THE BAD REVIEWS ARE JUSTIFIED...!!!..We received a renault trafic camper yesturday 9 10 24,..and paid £1700 based on their ads,and communications...,..it was advertised and sold as starting,running and driving perfectly no less..!!!..so this is what we expected at the very least...apart from any structural issues etc.....when it arrived,we had to use our own battery,as the one on it was near flat,and the delivery driver had to use easy start spray to get it going..!!! definately not as described by the sellers in their ads and when sorting the deal...!!!
...now we have this truck in our yard,that only starts with a dose of easy start,and blue smokes like crazy even when warm,so the engine is most likely duff....and the only thing that seems to work ok is the wipers..!! no joke...!!!
...Seriously now,be very careful if buying here....dont believe a word they tell you...we just paid them when asked,before delivery,not expecting such behaviour from what we thought were a legit company..????.....we have tried to contact them regarding this,but amazingly we dont get any replies..!!!!...ho hum..!!!! funny haha eh

Vans here are sold with NO warranty at all so once you leave a deposit no matter what, you are not getting it back so please understand when buying from here you MUST be a mechanic as they sell wrecks. They buy and sell vans in any state. So buy as long as you understand it’s going to cost you a lot of cash to put right in a few days. I wish I’d read the reviews before buying. It’s also a reason they don’t take visa payments as visa cover you from companies like these. So my advice is go elsewhere unless your a mechanic and know you can fix the issues in that case then fair enough.

I would not recommend Vanstation to anyone! Bought a van that they described as running smoothly, no lights on dashboard and no knocking. Halfway down the road part of the underneath was hanging off and the knocking was deafening. On the motorway a coolant light came on and we really didn't think it would make it home. On taking it to a local garage we are having to spend £1400+ just to make it roadworthy. All this after their "mechanic" (I use the term extremely loosely) said there were no issues! It wasn't cheap for what it was at £4995. Avoid unless you are looking for a van to scrap!

I'll start with the negatives and end on a high. This company operates on the basis that the contract is trade to trade so even if you are a consumer like most the negative reviewers on here, you won't be treated like one in law. I fully understand why this is and it's not uncommon.

The van was misdescribed, diagnosed as a turbo fault but described as being able to idle fine and drive in every gear. I could see that it wasn't idling fine from the video and when delivered it struggled to move in first, never mind the other 5 gears!!
I felt that their sales tactics were pushy, convinced me to make a deposit which could be refunded in full if the van wasn't what I expected when delivered (minus £60 fuel costs) - after making the deposit my mechanic advised against the purchase after seeing it idle in the video. (This was before it was removed from sale and before being delivered). Van Station told me I'd lose my whole £250 deposit if I cancelled which goes against what I was told. I negotiated the price further after explaining my mechanics concerns. I was convinced at this point the van was completely knackered and awaited the lemon I expected to turn up.

The van turned up and on the face of it, I was pretty pleased. There was service history which I didn't expect and generally speaking it was in good condition. It turned out that the turbo wasn't at fault (it had been changed already) and that it was blocked solid with carbon/soot, intake/EGR/exhaust and a faulty injector. It's now running so I'm pleased with it. I was convinced they were offloading a lemon so was prepared for the worst but think I got a really good deal.
Cannot fault the delivery of it either, 10/10 for that set up. I can see though, how this could have gone anyway. It's a flip of a coin.

Received our van was told it runs and starts right away this was a green dot one so means in good shape engine lights on already and won’t start we’ve not rang these people up as I’ve seen other peoples comments there not bothered after the. Vans gone so will just go to trading standards and get a refund what they’ve told us is not what the van came like told us it would pass it’s mot for deffonate whatever how a company can do this is beyond me now my partner can’t work

Be prepared to take the van straight to a garage do not ever get it delivered without driving the van for at least 10 miles beforehand. These are in a bad condition and worse than auction vehicles. Hence zero warranty offered be warned make sure you are paying £3-£5000 less than book price as it will defo cost you thousands to fix. Dont believe the fake reviews and trade wisely. If you do buy you must drive van firstly and don’t believe the adds online. Understand there a reason for NO warranty at all
