Uncle Tom's Motoring Centre Harlow Arvostelua 

I have been using Uncle Toms in Harlow for longer than I can remember, I have always been happy with the service, cost of repairs, honesty and straight talking. It’s a breath of fresh air to receive such great service over so many years, Tony Jones is a credit to the company, always happy to help, often going beyond the call of duty to help me out. I have also met the the owner Mr Nichols, he has also always been equally as helpful, happy to make sure I am paying the correct price, which has always been less than anyone else could offer! Keep up the good work guys. other companies in the automotive industry could learn a lot from how to retain your customers

I was recommended to use them and was very pleased I went there. They fitted me in around other work and their prices were unbeatable too. Excellent service and patience from Dan, the manager too - as the face of the business, he was calm, unflappable and very helpful. Went above and beyond.

Booked an appointment the night before for a brake check at Halfords in Harlow. When I went to their office next morning, I asked the receptionist how long the check would take. she responded " can't tell you, they're busy. Leave the car I'll call you when checked". I said your site booked an appointment for 8.30. Oh no, she said "It's not an appointment, it's a drop off. Could take all day". Tell you the other option she said. I can book you a repair service instead if you want. How much would the set of brakes cost I asked. No idea she said they have to measure them. No dear , they go by car model I said. So you want me to book a service, which you can't tell me how long it would take and how much it would cost? Thank you I said politely. Sorry about that she said insincerely.
I drove round the corner to Uncle Toms which seemed much busier. I was told after 15 minutes the problem with the brakes and how much. Needless to say within 2 hours the rear brakes, discs and caliper was done!
So, Thank you Uncle Toms for a professional and courteous service and sorry Halfords for being unable to give you less than one star since Trustpilot would not let me.

I’ve used Uncle Toms twice now. First was a walk in puncture and they sorted it out there and then even though they were reasonably busy.

This morning I needed a new tyre urgently as I was going up north. Reserved the tyres online and they were there waiting to be fitted at 4pm. The price quoted was also £15 cheaper than Costco or Halfords who had none in stock.

Brilliant service, couldn’t fault them.

I will never use the company again which is a shame as I live close by. 1 particular staff member is soooo rude. Who ever owns Uncle Toms will lose customers as I witnessed him being rude to many others in the 3 hours I was waiting there for. If it is his own company then he needs to learn customer service skills and improve on his manners. I have never been addressed in such manner by another human and disgusted that I had to experience this when in need of support from a professional.

I had my car in a mechanics last week and was told I needed 4 new tyres for my car. The mechanic rang uncle toms to be told by the assistant manager the cost for each tyre was £178 so I told the mechanic I would call them and arrange the fitting. When I got home I called them only to be told the tyres were £172 but as I wanted 4 a better price could be obtained and someone would call me back. The next day I called and spoke to the manager who told me the cost of the tyres was £191 each, I explained what prices I had been given the day before and he laughed. I told him that as a manager he should not be making up prices just to rip people off and he put me on hold to argue with a customer in the shop. I rang another company in Harlow called
'R' LOW tyres who quoted £98 fitted same day. Do not use this company unless you want a useless price and service.
