Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.

We’re sorry that your order did not reach you. Unfortunately, despite the order being dispatched through DPD, the tracking failed to progress and the parcel was subsequently determined to have been lost in transit.

When you initially contacted us regarding the delay, we responded and refunded your delivery charge due to the inconvenience. When the tracking still did not progress and it became apparent that the parcel was not going to reach you, we then issued a full refund for the order rather than leaving you waiting indefinitely.

We appreciate that receiving a refund does not make up for the inconvenience of waiting for an order that ultimately never arrived, and we apologise that the delivery did not go as expected.

While the loss of the parcel occurred within the courier network, we remained responsible for resolving the matter with you and made sure that you were not left out of pocket.

We hope you'll give us another opportunity in the future and that your next experience is a much smoother one.

We are sorry, however, about the way your parcel was delivered. We completely understand your concern, particularly where you live in a block of flats and the parcel was left outside in an exposed location with public access.

Parcels should be delivered in accordance with the courier's delivery requirements and should not simply be left somewhere unsuitable or insecure. We appreciate that you had already contacted the delivery company and explained the circumstances of your address, which makes the experience particularly frustrating.

Although the parcel was ultimately recovered, we will take your feedback regarding the delivery seriously and can raise inappropriate delivery practices with the courier where necessary.

If you experience any further delivery issues with an order from us, please contact our customer service team with your order number and we will be happy to assist.

Hi Sheikh,

We are disappointed to see this review, particularly as the description of the products as appearing to be "out of date" does not reflect the information available regarding the products supplied.

To clarify for anyone reading this review: the products supplied were within their manufacturer's stated expiry dates and not shortdated either. We have not supplied you with expired products by any means

We purchase a lot of our stock to order, meaning batches are almost always new and "Fresh"

You initially contacted us because you felt that the flavour was poorer and the vapour production weaker than you had experienced with the same product previously.

We confirmed that if you don't wish to keep the products we can accept them back for a refund. An Inspection establishes that the products are faulty or otherwise not of satisfactory quality, we can't simply replace the full order if you've provided no other information other than stated "freshness". Describing a product as not seeming "fresh" is not the same as establishing that it is expired or defective.

The parcel was ordered with Standard Delivey 2-3 working days and delivered within the timeframe provided as ordered, we have faster shipping options available with DPD Express Collection Point, and Home Delivery options available

We strongly dispute the account presented in this review and believe it omits important information regarding both the delivery and the assistance you have received from us. Speaks volumes about who we are dealing with however.

We have not ignored your emails, nor have we refused to deal with your missing-parcel report.

When you reported that you had not received the parcel despite it being recorded as delivered, a formal investigation was raised with DPD on 25 August and you were provided with the investigation reference. We have continued to correspond with you while that investigation has been ongoing.

There was also an important complication with this delivery which has been omitted from your review. The order was originally due for delivery to a collection point, after which you had made delivery arrangements with DPD directly to change this and get this to your home address, which was marked as delivered to your home address. The resulting disputed delivery therefore required investigation by the carrier rather than us simply making assumptions about what had happened to the parcel.

DPD subsequently progressed the investigation and issued a Denial of Receipt declaration for you to complete and return.

We informed you of this and explained that completion of that document was required to progress the disputed-delivery case.

We therefore completely reject the suggestion that we have simply "ignored any emails or communication". The documented correspondence and investigation reference demonstrate otherwise.

We also reject the allegation that we lied about sending your order. The parcel was dispatched and entered DPD's delivery network. The subsequent dispute concerns what happened during the delivery process, not whether UK Vape World dispatched the parcel.

We appreciate that waiting for a disputed-delivery investigation is frustrating 6 *working days* which excludes bank holidays and weekends. However, frustration with the time taken by that process does not make it accurate to state publicly that we lied, ignored you or refused to assist.

We have acknowledged throughout that, as the retailer, it remains our responsibility to ensure that the order is appropriately resolved. That is precisely why the DPD investigation was raised and has continued to be pursued.

You are, of course, entitled to contact your card provider. However, we will provide the relevant order, dispatch, tracking, investigation and correspondence records should we be asked to respond to any payment dispute.

We remain willing to complete the resolution through the process already underway. We would simply ask that any public account of the matter fairly reflects the actions that have actually been taken to assist you.

We are sorry to see this review, but we do need to correct the suggestion that you have been "cheated" or that we have refused to assist you.

If you have received an incorrect item, we will of course investigate this and, where an incorrect product has been supplied by us, provide the appropriate resolution.

Our customer service team can be contacted by email, and our published response times advise customers to allow up to 24 hours for a response. Sending further emails or attempting to contact us repeatedly within that response period does not mean that the original enquiry has been ignored.

We have already responded to the complaint raised regarding your order and provided the appropriate next steps. We would therefore ask that you continue the correspondence directly with our customer service team so that the exact items ordered and received can be established and the matter resolved.

We also want to be clear that your disability would never be a reason for us to refuse assistance or treat your complaint differently. If you require a reasonable adjustment to communicate with us or complete the returns process, please let our team know what assistance you require and we will consider how we can reasonably accommodate this.

We strongly reject the allegation that UK Vape World has "cheated" you. A query regarding an incorrect product is a customer-service matter which we are entirely willing to investigate and resolve.

Please reply to the existing email correspondence so that we can continue dealing with your order directly.

We are disappointed to read this review, particularly as it does not fully reflect the steps we took to resolve the issue.

When you contacted us regarding the flavour received, we did not refuse to assist you. We provided a prepaid return label so that the item could be returned at our expense for the appropriate replacement or refund.

When you subsequently explained that you did not have access to a printer, we did not insist that you use the original return method. We offered an alternative solution whereby you could arrange the return without using our label and forward us the reasonable postage cost for reimbursement.

We therefore do not believe it is fair to suggest that our returns process left you without a practical means of returning the product. We provided both a prepaid return method and, after you explained your circumstances, an alternative which would not leave you responsible for the return postage cost.

You have also stated that you had "no hope" that you would receive the correct order or a refund once the return was received. This is speculation about what might have happened rather than what actually occurred. No opportunity was given for the return process and subsequent replacement/refund to be completed before that conclusion was reached.

We appreciate that you were unhappy with the item received and that you perceived the tone of our correspondence negatively. However, throughout the correspondence we were actively responding to the complaint and providing practical options to resolve it.

Where an incorrect item has been supplied by us, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the customer's applicable consumer rights.

We are sorry that you have decided not to shop with us again, but it is important that prospective customers reading this review have the complete context: a prepaid return was provided, an alternative return method with reimbursement of reasonable postage costs was offered when printing the label was inconvenient, and a replacement/refund was available once the return was processed.
