The customer service at the Cabana Inn in Key West Florida is horrible to say the least. They do not return phone calls of urgent nature when car keys were left in the room upon check out. Had to call several times to finally get a human. It is not like a nail file was left behind. This was an error on our part, yes, but to not call back and acknowledge they ever received five phone calls? How hard would it have been to pick up the phone and say, oh we found your keys in room such and such, knowing who just stayed there for several days?
They received several voice mails from us yet no response whatsoever. I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even pets. No concern for anything except the money they collected.

I have tried for over a week to resolve a problem with merging accounts. The only thing they tell me is to keep trying. There is no additional help provided. They do not get back in a timely manner. Overall, extremely customer service.

I have used Tripadviser for years as a free site. Now that I have a plus subscription, I get the same customer service as the free site. There is a service number provided but no help is given. Once my subscription is over, I will not renew.

I booked a snorkel trip in the Iceland divide There was the ability to cancel up to 24 hrs before. At 12 hrs pre departure I was emailed the medical declaration to complete. It had far more detail than what was on the trip advisor booking page. I am taking prescription medication which on the form required a GP referral. I contacted the company asap. They emailed and phoned explained I could not cancel. They explained this happened often to them and other dive providers yet Viator (Trip advisor) refused to make the medical details and declaration more clear. It was then suggested I tick the “No medical condition “ box therefore not triggering the GP referral I refused to lie on this important document and regrettably was forced to cancel. I have asked again direct to Viator for a refund and so far they have refused. How can a company such as Trip Advisor/Viator knowingly allow and refuse their providers request to make it clear leaving providers and clients in the position where they are encouraged to lie to allow the event to go ahead. This is dangerous, unethical and potentially unlawful as the signed declaration becomes a legal document in the event an incident occurs.

Tripadvisor manque cruellement de personnel pour vérifier les avis. Ils sont là pour décrédibiliser les entrepreneurs. Supprime constamment les vrais avis et les vrais expériences clients. Ne prends pas en compte la diffamation publique. Ne prends pas en compte le conflit d’intérêt avec des entreprises concurrentes. Les avis sur TripAdvisor sont complètement faussé ne représente en rien la réalité.

I used TripAdvisor.com to book a trip for a Lesotho walk-around tour. Three-fourths of the places I was to see were closed. I asked for a refund, and they told me the company had fulfilled their end of the contract because I "went to other sites". Mind you the attractions were either behind locked gates due to it being Sunday or defunct. Find you a local company when you go overseas. TripAdvisor.com is borderline irresponsible, and they don't give a damn. They must ensure the company's listings on their website are current or remove them.

Less than useless since the covid lockdowns, so many places have either closed, or name changed. There are very few current reviews, which makes it difficult to confirm if somewhere is still open. Been in Asia for 6 weeks, and found it totally unreliable.

They show significantly lower prices than actual. Flight in question London -Zagreb.

Sadly the website is now so bad that it is almost too bad to use. Obviously like some other websites it was designed by someone who never uses it. I used to use it but now I have binned it. Just dreadful

On 16th january I was supposed to fly from Copenhagen to Adana. The fırst came 20 minute delayed and We arrived 43 minute later in İstanbul. I missed the next flight to Adana and slept in a hotel. I called Tripcom several times and they told me that they didnt got noticed about the delay. And information I provided then from the Sabiha Airport website. Later I called Pegasus Airlines and they told me that Trip com knew very well about the delay... I have called and wrote to trip.com they dont read Any mails. Because I never got Any reply. When you call Them there is lot of noise in the background. They promise that they Will solve your problem. 1 hour later you receive an email Which says nothing. This is going and on until you give up. Because you get frustrated and feel that you are talking to a wall. No problem solving no feedback nothing. They are supposed to refund My costs and New ticket, nothing happened. They are not Even able to make a research about a delay.. I WİLL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!

Antonio, 7, 39050 Fiè allo Sciliar BZ • Italia Capodanno 2022 “Residence x anziani”, dove alle ore 22.30 vengono chiusi gli spazi comuni “dal cameriere tutto fare “per giocare a carte per esempio e sei obbligato non avendo altra scelta a rientrare in camera. Acqua venduta come oro ( bottiglia da 0,75 €4) acqua dalla fontana € 2.50 a litro, un bicchiere di acqua €1.20. Cucina non adatta a mio parere agli italiani ,ma esclusivamente a tedeschi, austriaci ecc… a prescindere, pasta ‘scotta’ sempre e comunque senza sapore compreso i dolci. Sconsiglio vivamente di prenotare soggiorni in questa struttura..

When absolutely everything goes according to plan, TripAdvisor is good, but if ANYTHING goes wrong, 1. good luck trying to get a hold of them, 2. They outsource their customer services to a company called Viator. 3. They will likely side with their business partners.

In my case, I have used this site several times and came to realize a few things, like they charge much more than what it would cost to directly purchase from vendors, so you are likely thinking this is better since you can at least have peace of mind if something goes wrong? nope. Besides vague descriptions on some of the excursions that don't actually narrow down what you will get, communication between you and the vendor is nonexistent. On a recent trip to Italy, I was unfortunately laid over in Germany for several hours, my spouse paid hundreds for an excursion a couple of hours after we were supposed to arrive. From the moment I would likely not make it, I attempted to contact the vendor through their app and the phone number listed by the trip advisor, but both were ignored. Upon arriving, I called trip advisor (took a while to find a working number) and spoke to Viator their sub contractors, who basically said they couldn't do anything but would try to get a hold of the company to reschedule. They got back to me via email a few days later only stating I could not receive reimbursement or a rescheduled time. I called and once again, they were useless and said they would take another look. Despite many good-faith efforts on my end, I was once again denied reimbursement or an explanation even though I sincerely attempted to reschedule with the vendor and never even got a response.

To make matters worse I even tried to post a review of what occurred with the vendor, I mean I paid hundreds for a trip I never got to do and after posting only a few minutes later, it was taken down. I literally paid for the right to leave a review and they still took it down. Talk about adding insult to injury.

Ultimately they lost my business forever, and I would never recommend them to anyone. They chose the easy way out rather than work out a solution with me or offer any semblance of customer service.

Use other review sites.
TripAdvisor is an unbalanced and unfair website that attracts a high number of naturally negative people for a keyboard moan.
Putting a management response to a poor review, that is incorrect in context or full of misinformation, is usually the response and often goes unconsidered by TA. with a response 'its within our guidelines'
Our business is busy with an excellent reputation but
the only time we have experienced a run of positive reviews is when we have reached out to our customers on a regular basis [pre covid]. We no longer do this as every form of business now requests a 'how was your visit' and websites such as Google do the reaching out to the customer. In fact, we now discourage people from using TripAdvisor
In short, I hate how TripAdvisor is formatted and think its outdated. We find the general public opinion is that the site is used by most people who like to moan naturally so the reviews have little credibility.
If a restaurant has an online booking system look at their feedback from customers or look at Google reviews for a better balanced impression.

After paying for the cancellation policy, this company has stolen over 200 pounds in vouchers.
When putting in the voucher code it says there is an error, and when contacting them over 10 agents kept hanging the phone on me. They literally steal your money.

Suite à une lamentable expérience dans un appartement de vacances, afin d'éviter des désagréments semblables aux vacanciers et empêcher des propriétaires malhonnêtes de continuer, nous avons voulu déposer un avis négatif. Avis jamais publié. Les malhonnêtes ont de beaux jours devant eux grâce à Tripadvisor. Ne surtout pas faire confiance aux avis.

Wij gaan af en toe voor een bijzondere smaak- en sfeerbeleving naar restaurant NEDER in Alkmaar. Hier wordt het begrip "lokale producten" echt eer aan gedaan.
Voor alles wat van ver komt worden in Nederland alternatieven gevonden en met de grootst mogelijke zorg en creativiteit tot smaakvolle gerechten en bijpassende dranken omgetoverd. De bediening is persoonlijk en met aandacht en humor.

I came across a scam in Hurghada Egypt where four hotels where part of a marketing scam. They used the Royal Star logo to upgrade terrible hotels which are failing. They decided to block my reviews thus not letting the customer know the scam. However they would sell you stay in these rip off hotels. They are deliberately misleading people for profit.

I have some doubt and used online chat with trip advisor after his explanation and confirmation i am fully satisfied. Thank you Trip Advisor and have a good day!

Ho trascorso alcuni incantevoli giornate di vacanze ospite di questo meraviglioso albergo, situato direttamente sul mare ed a due passi dal centro di Golfo Aranci, coccolata dallo Staff sempre molto gentile ed attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. La cura dell’arredo e della pulizia è davvero notevole, come pure la cucina che regala anche al palato sensazioni di altissimo livello.
La sera si può apprezzare la voce del cantante Alex che dal vivo intrattiene i presenti con dell’ottima musica ed una meravigliosa voce.
Esperienza consigliata a tutti.
