Travel Nation Arvostelua

I’ve just returned from another amazing trip booked with Jim at travel nation!

He’s been booking my trips for three years now and I cannot imagine trusting anyone else to get my holidays exactly right and I’m pretty picky!

The service from planning, to execution, from unforeseen circumstances because of ash clouds in Bali, rerouting flights because of air space restrictions in the Middle East, he has navigated and safety netted everything that has befallen the world around my plans.

Whether I’ve asked for elephant sanctuaries, vineyard tours or beaches and cities, everything is just perfection.

I cannot recommend Jim and the team highly enough.

Jim at Travel Nation is our "go to" guy for long haul travel. We've used the company for three years running. Jim really listens to our requirements and has a wealth of experience. He always tailors travel plans and works hard to put together a fantastic itinerary. He's really responsive to any requests and provides regular updates. He even advised us on adverse weather conditions in New Zealand on our last trip (even though we'd planned this itinerary ourselves). Travel Nation is a company we would 100% recommend to anyone planning a long haul, multi location trip.

Planning our round‑the‑world adventure with Travel Nation has been a joy from the very start. Shaye our travel consultant has been amazing - knowledgeable, patient, enthusiastic and genuinely invested in helping us shape the perfect trip. She’s struck the ideal balance between my curiosity‑driven approach and my partner’s more structured planning style.

Shaye has helped us maximise every part of our itinerary Going above and beyond to refine our ideas, and nothing has ever felt like too much trouble. We haven’t set off yet, but based on the experience so far, we feel completely confident we’ll be well looked after

I had a great experience, receiving brilliant advice in the planning stages, booking process and whilst away. Forward thinking by the company ensured I was well taken care of on my journey home due to the difficulties in the Middle East. Charlie and Scott were both reactive to any issues that arose. I would have no hesitation in recommending or using them again.

We have had a brilliant experience with Natalie at Travel Nation arranging our 6 week trip next year. She has been incredibly helpful making excellent suggestions while at the same time taking our preferences into account. Her knowledge is excellent and she has been very patient while we make decisions for this once in a lifetime trip. Would highly recommend.

World travel with no worries. This company takes exceptional trouble to organise tours such as ours. With air travel, cruising, high speed rail, camper van and boats all to be organised everything went like clockwork. David Taylor was always on hand and tracked our progress in a very professional manner. A holiday of a lifetime!

I had a fantastic experience working with Ben at Travel Nation while planning a big trip. From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to communicate with, keeping in touch regularly through both calls and emails.

He was always quick to make any changes we requested, adjusting our itinerary smoothly and without any hassle. His knowledge and attention to detail really stood out, and it was clear he took the time to understand our needs, preferences, and any concerns we had.

The level of service Ben provided was outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family, friends, or anyone planning a trip!

We took a trip to Indonesia as a family organised by Nikki Clarke. The accommodation surpassed our expectations and every step of our trip went to plan. Thank you again for the wonderful memories and we will definitely use travel nation again as we intend to take our kids on many more adventures.

We just got home from an amazing round the world trip.
We came upon Travel Nation, after having looking directly with airline groups.
Our agent Adam Smith, has been great during the whole process, from booking till the end of our trip, he made valuable suggestions on itinerary, and booked all our flights.
We have personally recomended Travel Nation and Adam to our friends and extend the recomendation to anyone who might read this.

I couldnt be happier with my experience with Travel Nation, and Adam!
From first enquiry, during my trip and on return everything was great.
Excellant communication, clear information and options and always responsive. I felt there was always help or advice available, which is a great support when travelling.
I had the most amazing trip, which wouldnt have been possible without Adam & Travel Nation- arranging 10+ flights connecting around the world for a great price. I would 100% recommend.

Kelly Weekes at Travel Nation was such a great help in planning our trip. Very knowledgable with some great advice. She was very responsive to any enquiries.
Our trip went better than expected with all pre arranged flights, hotels etc working smoothly. The choice of hotels was also excellent and met our preferences as far as was possible. Whilst you could do it yourself I was so pleased we let TN take the strain!

Really great experience with Travel Nation and Olly, so knowledgeable and well thought out itinerary that suited us perfectly, and they looked after us so well, both before we went and when we had to sort a few extra bits while on our family adventure in Costa Rica. ☺️

The travel advisor really listened to what we wanted from the holiday, our likes and dislikes and put together the perfect trip for us. She also had great recommendations from personal experience which was invaluable.

We recently (6th March-7th April 26) did a mini tour of Asia, taking in 2 x weeks in Bali, 1 x week in Sri Lanka & a further week in Goa (India) all was done by flying and we also touched down in Shanghai & Kuala Lumpa, so all in all it turned out to be quiet an itinerary and took some planning. We were fortunate to have contacted Travel Nation and be put into the very capable hands of David Taylor. Initially we told David what we would like to do and that this trip is to be planned to coincide with our 50th Wedding Anniversary, David took the details and after a few days came up with this itinerary, later modified because of recent conflict in the middle east (Thank You Mr Trump). We flew from Manchester to Shanghai, then onto Bali where we spent 2 fantastic weeks at The Paradisus by Melia, Nusa Dua, this is also where we celebrated our anniversary, which David had told all the hotels we stayed at about, everyone made it extra special, Thank You David. From Bali we flew over to Kuala Lumpa (Malaysia) and then onto Sri Lanka for a weeks stay. David had planned & booked our itinerary in with Ceylon Tours, we had a car & driver/guide for the full week, our driver's name was "Freddy" and he was brilliant, very caring, very helpful and full of useful knowledge. During this weeks stay, David had included a 2 x night stay, including a Safari at Cinnamon Wild in Yala National Park, I cant tell you how great this place is, its unbelievable, we could have stayed here longer it was that good, so good, we are planning to go back soon. After the fantastic week in Sri Lanka, Thank You Freddy of Ceylon Tours, we flew over to Goa and stayed in Calangute, another great week and just what we needed before coming home. Again due to Mr Trumps actions, our original return flights had been cancelled, but this wasn't something that caused us any stress, David & his manager booked us new flights which went via Mumbai and then direct to Manchester and at no extra cost to us, Travel Nation paid the extra, you can't ask for a better service than that??? In short, if your looking to booked a "Once in a Lifetime" holiday experience or just a great holiday, give Travel Nation a call (01273 320 578) and if you can, get David Taylor to sort you a (David) Taylor Made Holiday" out, you won't be sorry, we award them 110% all round. This was the second time that Travel Nation put together a long and complicated intercontinental trip for us. They never disappoint. This time we travelled the length and breadth of China and Gray Baker at Travel Nation did a superlative job putting it all together. He complied with all our own requests, and when added to his own expertise and advice, he created the perfect experience. The organisation on the ground was flawless, their app which carries your itinerary is very user friendly and extremely well designed. I would not hesitate to recommend both Gray and Travel Nation.

Shayle was amazing!
She answered fast, she listened to our expectations and wished and reacted accordingly.
We are super happy and impressed by the amazing work she has done for us - I would highly reccomend her!
Excellent!

TN is offering a wide experience and strong support for any situation, Local agents generally are very efficient and take care all your needs during journey.

I recently booked an incredible multi‑stop trip to Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and Hong Kong through Travel Nation, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. My travel consultant, Gray Baker, was outstanding from start to finish.

Gray was consistently knowledgeable, helpful, and impressively quick to respond to every question I had while planning such a complex itinerary. What really stood out, though, was how smoothly Travel Nation handled unexpected issues. When one of my flights was cancelled at the last minute at the airport, the team jumped into action immediately and had everything sorted before the situation could become stressful. They were equally efficient when I needed to change flights a week before departure due to the situation in the Middle East, rerouting me straight to Malaysia without any hassle.

On top of all that, Gray checked in throughout the trip whenever something arose, making sure I was supported and everything continued to run smoothly. That level of care made a huge difference and really set the experience apart.

The support, professionalism, and genuine attention to detail made the entire journey feel easy and well looked after. I highly recommend Travel Nation, and I’m already planning to speak with Gray about future trips I have in mind.

I can't speak highly enough of the team at Travel Nation. Ruth organised a fantastic round the world trip for us, tweaking the route and itinerary until it was perfect for us. They also sent information and links for the various visas needed. We were in Australia when the war in the middle east broke out and Adam kept in regular contact about flights and he even got us home a day early. Given other travellers experiences that we spoke to, we feel incredibly fortunate to have had Travel Nation looking after us. Highly recommend. Will only use TN from now on!
