Damon is an outstanding guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, and quite humorous. We got a full overview of Portland and an enjoyable three hour tour. I highly recommend Damon and Tours by Locals

We really enjoyed our private tour of Grand Canaria. Marc, the tour guide did an excellent job, great communicator and very personable. Touring the national park and cave houses was a highlight.

Ava was an absolute delight. We hit it off right from the start. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. She got us to the Blue Hole before anyone else was there and we had the place to ourselves for awhile, an exceptional experience. Ava was able to adjust our itinerary based on what we wanted to do in the limited time we had. She shared numerous interesting stories and facts about the area. And she got us back to the ship on time. A great tour.

We had Julia as our tour guide for The historic district of Madrid. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, on time, and fun to spend time with. We learned a lot and it made our trip more memorable.

Veronica was very organized and created the tour that best fit our needs and wants. We enjoyed touring Cinque Terra and highly recommend Veronica to other travelers.

We were very pleased with the outcome of our tour. We contacted the company prior to our tour with some concerns and we were met with understanding support staff who worked out the issues. Our tour guide was excellent and we had a great experience.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide was most willing to customize and showed us a number of small villages that were in areas not frequented by tourists.
He was knowledgeable and personal and shared insights on life in the Netherlands.
This tour was just the right length.
Would highly recommend!

Our tour guide was excellent. Her name is Brianna.
She is knowledgeable, and one of the best guides we have ever had.

Great guide, top notch experience, amazing amount of knowledge on Oxford University and Oxford.

Panos was the perfect guide for our small group (2 same sex couples). He was super informative and fun at the same time. Passionate, great energy and very happy to answer all of our questions (even the obscure ones!). He gave us great recommendations for local flavors and made us feel like we were the only ones there, despite the crowds.

Our group of five had a truly unforgettable day touring Stonehenge and Bath with Jamie, our guide and driver we booked through Tours by Locals. Having our own black cab made the experience feel intimate and personalized, and Jamie’s cab was newer, comfortable and worked very well for the five of us.

We had originally planned to do only the Stonehenge tour, but Jamie suggested combining it with Bath—and we’re so glad he did. Bath is absolutely beautiful and filled with history, and the Roman Baths museum was fascinating and extremely well done.

Jamie is a wonderful guide. He's friendly, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of both Stonehenge and Bath. He also went above and beyond the standard itinerary, showing us places and sharing stories we never would have experienced on our own.

It was a long day, but one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re looking for a more personal way to experience Stonehenge and Bath from London, we highly recommend Jamie and this tour. We'd love to go back and take advantage of one of his London tours.

Al did a great job. He was funny, engaging, and very knowledgeable. A good time was had by all on our spooky tour!

Very knowledgeable, able to adapt the tour to meet our needs. Especially knowledgeable about the Schindler museum.

Third generation guide who has a deep love and appreciation for his homeland, Val eagerly shared his knowledge and allowed me the time to not only see but experience his words.

Our tour guide, Siham, was knowledgeable and personable and an absolute joy, He totally customized our tour and was responsive to our needs and desires. We had a great time. I would highly recommend him and ToursByLocals, and if you are ever in Doha, book a tour with Siham through TourByLocals.com.

Junwon Choi was our private tour guide to the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). He was very knowledgeable of the Korean history and answered any questions with great detail and added much educational value to the tour. He was so friendly and personable that we relaxed and enjoyed our experience even more. He also answered many questions on our trip there and back to Seoul. He also took us to a very local restaurant that was managed by a woman who was originally from North Korea. We highly recommend Junwon and will take future tours with him if needed.

We had a great time exploring Istanbul with Oguz. He had great stories for us took us to see a number of interesting sites and a wonderful lunch with a local restaurant. I highly recommend this tour and guide.

We did a four hour Jewish Quarter Tour in Toledo with Inma. She was absolutely fantastic. Inma is so knowledgeable and really made our tour special. She was very easy to communicate with prior to the tour and is just a really lovely person. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed touring with Inma! I highly recommend her!
