Tony's Chocolonely UK Arvostelua 

Bland and overpriced with little variety. Some of those bars taste like paper. Also, why so flippin thick and hard?!

I tried the milk chocolate and found it sickly, not authentic tasting at all.
It didn't help that the pattern on the bar made it annoyingly difficult and messy to break up.

I love tony chocolate.
At least they use real cocoa not like Cadbury and Galaxy after finding out that a lot of Cadbury and Galaxy is full of fake crap in it.
People are too use to eating fake chocolate that they forgot what real chocolate is like at least tonys use real cocoa beans.
I love tonys chocolate and would rather eat this knowing whats in it than fake crap that everyone's use too.

Tony's in general is an excellent product. Every variant I've tried is delicious, especially their "not twix" caramel and biscuit. You pay a little more for their ethical practices but you get good quality chocolate as well. Makes it feel more like a deliberate occasional treat you can enjoy with your heart and your tongue.

What prompted me to write this review however was their superb customer service.

I recently bought a custom bar for my partner and the parcel arrived very quickly. The only issue was the parcel was empty. Somewhere in transit the bar was either lost or stolen. So, I reached out for a replacement knowing they'd have nothing but my word.

Their staff were incredibly professional, without seeming too formal. They were all very kind and understanding, sending a new bar completely free and without hassle. Couldn't ask for better.

It’s just very cheap chocolate and it tastes stale. Think of out of date cheap Christmas chocolate and that’s exactly what it tastes like. Grim. Have to believe all the good reviews are paid for, there’s no way anyone is eating this and thinking it’s good quality.

Tony's Chocolonely Milk Chocolate 180g. I don't eat a lot of milk chocolate, but fancied something better than Cadburys or Galaxy so thought I would give this a try - now I wish I hadn't bothered. I don't like the thick irregular shaped pieces, a silly gimmick that just makes it difficult to eat. The flavour is just weird, slightly bitter, a bit musty. The texture certainly isn't smooth, I would call it grainy. Overall a rather unpleasant experience. I will stick with Lindt, smooth, creamy, easy to eat.

What a load of over priced rubbish, it tastes like cheap chocolate from the 80s. I have purchased some, eaten one square, put it back in the fridge and no one will finish it. It's probably going to go in the bin soon!

At the end of the day its just a chocolate bar. People keep comparing it to Galaxy and cadbury when they both contain much more sugar and fake ingredients to make it taste amazing when it’s actually bad for your health. Eating Tony’s gives me the pice of mind that im not filling my body with rubbish and im consuming a quality chocolate bar. Of course it wont taste as sugary as the others as its more chocolate less sugar and the taste reflects that. The price reflects the fairtrade and means i wont overindulge. It doesnt have additive additives so you don’t crave more after eating a smaller amount its the whole point. I like it, it reminds me of chocolate as a child.

Bought a Everything Bar, opened it and inside was white chocolate with raspberry pieces.
A simple packaging error, I assumed, not a massive problem, easily fixed.
But I reached out to customer service who said that such a packaging error was not possible.
So that leaves me wondering what happened? And can Chocolonely bars be trusted?
I don't think the bar I bought is even safe to eat if it didn't come from their production facility.

This chocolate has to rival Belgium chocolate, in that its consistently delicious and actually makes a very nice, just the right size, gift, for the girls who bring my groceries to me.
The raspberry white chocolate would make an incredible addition to some raspberry ice cream! (Hint, Hint).
All and all, this is a great company!

Für mich persönlich die leckerste Schokoladenmarke überhaupt. Bis jetzt hatte ich drei Sorten und allen gebe ich 5 Sterne. Die orange (Kombination aus süß und salzig), die pinke (weiße Schokolade mit Himbeeren) und die dunkelblaue (Brezel mit Toffee).

Kann ich sehr empfehlen!

My wife brought home a bar .....we both loved the it was sea salt and caramel.
It's a bit more expensive but when we both read the label inside we understood why.
Love the the fact the wrapping is recyclable.
Have a 2 more bars in the fridge and yes WE ARE IN 👍

Pretty disappointed after buying 3 different flavours at £4 each. Tastes nothing like I was led to believe. Moved away from Cadbury due to the greasy waxy texture it now has sadly and poor cheaper ingredients.

It tastes like cheap cooking chocolate and was so looking forward to a great alternative but what a let down!

I went looking for a chocolate that had no palm oil , and up popped Tony's which has caught my eye for last couple of years......EVERYONE seems to be raving on and on on these bars so I purchased the hazelnut one....so I took a small square.....hmmmmmm, not what I was expecting at ALL, for it firstly tasted of the wrapper , and the intense after taste of sugar is still there 15 mins after, hence another brand bites the dust ......I know everyone's taste buds are different, but it tastes of the paper , HOW does no one notice that ???? sorry Tony's, cool wrapping, class ethics but the chocolate does not echo its branding....

I was pleasantly surprised at the taste, from other reviews I wasnt expecting much, what drew me to this chocolate was the rare phenomenon these days of no palm oil. The chocolate is sweet, but then its milk chocolate what do you expect lol. It reminds me of the way chocolate used to be pre palm oil. I will be buying more of this.

I'm so confused by these reviews. I buy the green one and have done for years and it's the best chocolate that has ever existed period!!

I had a bar of the milk chocolate for Christmas and i absolutely loved it!
The taste is creamy, smooth and melts perfectly!
Thank goodness for Tonys chocolate, a 100% better option than all that rubbish on the supermarket shelves that is now made with disgusting palm oil...

Toney's Chocoloney Milk Chocolate.

Let's get the ethical nonsense out of the way. Ethics refers to an individual's moral choices. No product can be 'ethical' or 'unethical'. I buy organic farm shop chicken, but can consider mass produced chicken 'ethical' because it feeds millions of people. I can consider organic farm shop chicken 'unethical' because it only feeds a middle class minority.
This applies to chocolate; it cannot be 'ethical' or 'unethical'

Let's get down to the taste. It's like a combination of Galaxy, average European style milk chocolate, and cheap cooking chocolate. Not unpleasant but absolutely nothing special!

Taste would be 2.5. The price and 'ethical' claims stops it being rounded up to 3. TBH the taste alone would never merit a 3.

I was really disappointed with the packaging of the Tony’s Chocoloney advent calendar. While the chocolate itself is nice, the design of the calendar completely ruined the experience for me.

The cardboard doors are extremely stiff and have sharp, hard edges. When trying to open one of the doors, I actually cut my finger on the cardboard.

There’s no reason festive packaging should pose a risk of injury. The doors are difficult to open cleanly, tear unevenly, and leave sharp edges behind.

I hope the packaging design is reconsidered in the future.
