Tigers Removals were able to accommodate our last minute request for movers. Their communication was excellent and their staff on the day, Fred, Karl, and Luke were fab!

Jacko and Leon were so great, really nice lads, put in the graft and got the job done! They made our first time using removals straightforward and stress free. We will definitely contact again next time we need a hand!

A little too unorganised.

We were told the movers would arrive at 10am but they didn't arrive until near 11.30am and then went for a smoke break before starting anything. Apparently they'd done another job before reaching us that day and that's why they were late...

With the van filling up, they realised not everything was going to fit. It was late afternoon at this point and the solution offered was to go to the new property, empty it, and return. In the end, knowing this would be extremely late in the day and not wanting to keep the people waiting to enter their new home waiting (knowing it had taken over 4 hours to fill the van), we placed a lot of things in our old neighbours' garden. We also had to use our own cars to go back, as well as family members', to make sure everything was empty (the new owners didn't get in while 7pm in the end).

Some audible complaining at the new property about moving some of the boxes made us feel uncomfortable. It was around 6pm when everything was finished and you can tell they wanted to get done and go home (fair, we all feel like that at work), but if they had started when they were supposed to, they'd have been done before 5pm...

There were a few other niggles but overall, the size of the vehicle we needed was misquoted, and the lateness really had a knock on effect on the rest of the day and the general attitude. Maybe if more people were involved, it would have been quicker for them but, again, someone came out to assess everything in the house and quote for the size of the van and people needed. If this was quote was inadequate (and it seemingly was), it wasn't our fault.

It was also discussed upon the quote that a bed frame would be taken down by the firm, but they didn't bring a toolbox for this purpose, and even though they had been told a couple of times that this bed wasn't going upstairs at the new property (once at the old and just as they were taking it out of the van at the new), it still ended up upstairs (not a big issue but pretty irritating 2 seconds after having the discussion!)

I'm sure no moving firm or day is perfect but I wouldn't be looking to recommend this firm based on these issues, or look to use them again. It's a stressful thing as it is without wondering if the firm you've booked will actually turn up and not knowing what to do without enough room to move all of your things when you've paid for a service and expect everything to be in hand.

Used Tigers Removals for a house move out of town. They arrived when they said they would and got straight on with packing the van. Scott and Steve were fantastic, friendly and took great care of our belongings.
At the new house there was a delay but this was no problem and they reassured us not to worry.
Would definitely use again and recommend 😃

I’ve used tigers a fair few times now for my removals and they always deliver! I wouldn’t use anybody else… I had Scott and Ian come this morning and they was both absolutely spot on :) Quick and efficient, no messing about and just straight to it!! Thank you as always :)

During our search for a removal company, we visited a comparison website. Tigers Removals noticed our search and contacted us. They initially quoted us £280, which we declined as we only required assistance with the furniture, not the entire move.

Chris then reached out to us, and we clarified our situation. He informed us that due to the limited amount of items we needed to move, they would offer us a reduced rate of £200. When we inquired about cash payment options, they provided a quote of £180.

We booked their services for the completion date of 12/12/24.

A few days prior to the completion date, I contacted them to inquire about the expected arrival time and the procedure. They informed us that they would be there at 11:00 AM.

On the day of completion, we heard nothing until 11:00 AM, when we reached out to them. They apologised for the delay and stated that they were running slightly behind schedule. However, they assured us that they would arrive at 11:30 AM. Unfortunately, they did not show up.

We repeated our call as the house had completed, and they informed us that they had been caught up on the previous job and would arrive at 1:30 PM. However, once again, they failed to show up.

Frustrated, we contacted James, the sales manager. He explained that due to our payment of the reduced rate, our service level had basically been downgraded, and that the full-paying customers were prioritised. We reminded him that they had initially offered the lower rate because of the limited amount of furniture we needed to move.

Finally, they provided us with a new time slot of 3:45 PM, during which they arrived. After holding the whole move up.

Prior to the move, I had secured two mattress bags to protect our new mattresses. However, the removal team removed the bags to handle the mattresses. Despite the wet and dirty weather conditions, they repeatedly placed the mattresses down now without protection on the wet and dirty tail lift and kicked them into position on the van.

We promptly contacted James to report this incident. He instructed us to take photographs and email them to the company, which would arrange a cleaning service. We complied with his request.

Upon arriving at the new property, the removal team refused to unload the furniture until we had paid the full upfront amount.

We emailed the photos of the damage across to the admin, and spoke to a lady on reception who was mortified and apologetic. Of course James took charge again and was EXTREMELY rude to us. Refusing to now get it cleaned. Asking us what we have been sleeping on etc. He then stopped responding to us, so again we chased up and received further rude emails.

Tiger Removals ruined our move. THEY offered us the lower price as they were desperate for the job. Yet made out we were the problem.

In summery
Lads had no training like website states, my partner had to help them carrying the mattress.
No specialist tools like website states.
Remove your own protection.
MOST IMPORTANTLY- No protective sheets/ gear like the website states, our mattress and furniture got ruined.

From start to finish the service was excellent. The company visited to give us a quote which was, in our opinion, very good. Scott & Damo arrived at the stated time and did an excellent job, and went above and beyond our expectations. They treated our possessions with great care and everything arrived and was unpacked in the same condition it was loaded into the vehicle. Can’t recommend this company more highly. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I would like to thank Jamie & Fred for there excellent service of moving my very elderly patents. While they was there my dad who's 87 had a very nasty fall resulting in dad needing the hospital they helped us get dad in the warmth and continued to help even making sure we was OK the customer skills are 100% spot on I can't thank them enough for all there help and moving all there stuff in making sure mum was OK before they left I would definitely recommend this company just on theese 2 lads u should be proud of Jamie & Fred thank you so much p.s dad's ok 👍 as they was genuinely concerned about him thank you so much erica oglesby

From the first visit, to the removal date which was changed twice, no problem for the experts. The rather large van plus 3 men arrived on time, showed them around the house, garden and out buildings, what was going and staying. Asked the estimated timing of loading about 2 hours.They got on with the job, with the minimum of fuss, quick but careful, and with in the hour the house was emptied and 40 minutes later we where ready to move to our new home. No sooner had the van be opened furniture etc we being swiftly move into the new home, once again with the minimum of fuss, care and quick, asking where items were to go in what room ect. the van was unloaded and ready to leave. Couldn't fault the lads, they where courteous, quick, carefull and respecful of all items. Would recommend them without any hesitation

Arrived on time. Confirmed the day before. Two young lads were very professional. Both Luke and Florin were very considerate with the furniture and came with floor coverings to protect carpets. Everything was packed really securely. Crew asked where everything was to be put. Very positive experience. Great service.

I’m in part one of a massive move and I have had a long period waiting to complete ! James came out to assess and to quote twice as it took so long to be happening . It’s a 2 van 3 men full packing and it happened yesterday . I can’t praise the workers highly enough , polite , kind , appreciative of my dogs and their needs and safety while an 8 hour loading !! I’m now in “Storage !” As final destination has delayed completion. I

Crap company we moved this year . Never got compensation for damaged furniture. Stay away shit company.

Despite it being an horrendous day due to set backs that we couldn't control, they worked late and ensured I got moved successfully.

We manage to book at very short notice due to our original removals contractor letting us down at the very last minute, so with that in mind, Chris & the team saved the day and for that we will be eternally grateful.
The move went very smoothly with Scott & Damien (the removal crew) turning up promptly as planned. On the initial inspection by Damien & Scott they devised the plan on loading the vehicle and basically flexed some graft until the house & garden contents was loaded onto the vehicle outright. We couldn’t believe how fast & efficient these two lads worked as a team and the time they took from start to finish was impressive. Both Scott & Damien were very polite and courteous adding to their professionalism and their communication skills in letting you know of any issues they encountered when loading items onto the vehicle was reassuring. Therefore it is highly recommended that if you are looking to book a removal company, look no further than Tigers Removals as you would have definitely picked the right removals team to do the job you require. We highly recommend you ask for Damien & Scott as your removal crew as they were just brilliant. This company’s overall service was outstanding. The lead up to our move was very stressful with several late date changes, some being just days prior to the set date. James @ Tigers was brilliant in being so accommodating regarding the date changes, always assuring us that it wasn't a problem and they understood.

On the day the lads did arrive a little later than we had thought they would but once they were with us they didn't stop. 3 crew, 2 big vans, a 2 hour drive between properties and they completed it in one day.

They were very careful with our possessions and highlighted something they thought they had broken (Even though it was already cracked). Tigers were reasonable in costs too with no hidden extras. We payed what James had quoted when he visited with a small deposit prior to the move and the balance paid the day before.

It was important the my wife felt comfortable with the movers and the Tigers crew were all courteous and friendly and that really helped put her at ease.

I'd recommend Tigers for sure. Hard working, friendly and efficient. They made the move less stressful for us.

We needed to move a heavy piece of furniture to a different part of the house. Not everyone will consider an in-house move but a call to Ella sorted this out within a few minutes and the guys came at the agreed time the next day. Gavin and Lee did the job quickly and carefully, and were efficient and polite.

Really good from start to finish on what was a super stressful move waiting for the exchange and completion! From James coming round to quote, super professional and friendly - to Jamie and Lee who did a smashing job on the day, really hard working and did great getting everything in one run in the van. Ellenor was really helpful in the office too. I would certainly recommend this company!

Read the reviews and decided there were more positives than negatives. Competitive price and what was a very stressful operation for me was eased considerably by the care and consideration shown by the lads who were really cheery and reassuring . They moved a lot of very delicate large heavy items expertly with care and efficiency. Unloading was tricky for them due to the site but they remained cheery and completed the job with the utmost care with everything arriving in situ perfect .
Slight mix up with the start times but other than that flawless. Many thanks
