After an extremely stressful house buying/selling process we thought the final hurdle, the house move, would be the same; thankfully how wrong we were! We moved from a 3 storey property in Barnsley to the Newcastle area and the quote from Chris was very competitive and in hindsight worth every penny. The guys who moved our “stuff”: Jacko (the experience) Tom (the brains) and John (the brawn) were absolute heroes, working with great care, attention and humour - we had so many laughs! How they maintained all this throughout a long day I will never know. In fact instead of being stressful we actually really enjoyed the day thanks to their efforts. Thank you guys, you’re superstars!

Absolutely brilliant job from Tiger Removals, from the initial visit to quote, and patience through our sale process ( with a couple of chanced move dates) nothing was a problem.
The team on move day were spot on, nothing was a problem and made the move as easy a it could have been.

What I witnessed on the 29th July 2026 was not human. Matti, Ian & Craig came to move us from a semi in Willerby to a new home in Brough. The guys were strong, very strong. The day was warm, 30 degrees warm to be precise and too hot for moving house! But move us they did, at speed. 100 or so large boxes and furniture besides, the only broken item can be attributed to me - and that is with a full 10 ton lorry load! As the TV ad says 'If Carlsberg did a Removals Company, it'd probably be the best Removals Company in the World' - Tigers Removals - Just book 'em..

Whole house moved from one end of the country to the next. The guys were on time and worked like trojans, three vans loaded in around five hours.
Boxes were delivered on time and all was good. I was a bit twitchy about paying before delivery but all was good, I ca not fault them.
I would definitely use them again.

Thank You to Tiger removals and especially Steve and Tom for doing a first class move in difficult circumstances. This enabled my elderly parents to move from Hull to Southport and we are very grateful to you all.

This is a hard working team run by complete cowboys.

We used Tigers for 2 moves. One minor one where only a handful of items were moved, the second, a few weeks later was for our full house move.

During the minor move, a brand new washing machine and fridge freezer were scratched and dented. We put this down to the awkward nature of the location and accepted (reluctantly) a £75 discount on our main move.

The morning of the main move arrived and the first issue we encountered was that despite it being written into the quote, the team arrived with no wardrobe boxes. Instead of having these dropped off, our clothes (suits, dresses etc) were folded and stuffed into regular boxes.

The rest of the morning appeared to go well but once the movers had left, we found various dents, scratches and significant marks on walls, doors, skirting boards and ceilings.

At the other end, as before, the team worked hard and all items unloaded.

But, as before, as we walked around the new house, we found various issues, including a chest of drawers that had been completely demolished and hidden.

I contacted the Tigers team and received a fairly hollow apology and was told that the issues were minor. They explained that their insurance didn’t cover flat pack furniture and offered me £150 compensation.

As before, I reluctantly agreed and was told that the money would be transferred immediately.

A few days later I’d heard nothing and called back. I was assured that the money would be in my account within 24 hours but again, this never transpired.

Various calls, emails and text messages were made and received over the following 2 weeks in an attempt to get the compensation we’d been promised all with no success.

I finally managed to speak to the managing director who told me that he’d been away in Ibiza and had to carry out an investigation prior to paying any compensation. He also told me that his wife dealt with the money side of things and was recovering from surgery, all of which seemed pretty coincidental. He also mentioned that since none of their removal team had any knowledge of the damaged item(s) he believed that I was a professional con-man who went round the country trying to get money out of companies.

This managing directer, Chris, was aggressive, rude and a bully. It was clearly his intention to scare me out of claiming my compensation.

I continued to call and email on a daily basis until eventually I received the £150 in my account.

This family run business is run by absolute con-men. The removal team were friendly and hard working, but they were also careless and lacking professional integrity.

Do yourself a favour and stay well away.

I booked Tigersremovals in desperation after being let down by my origonal removals company. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. As an older, disabled person, navigating a house move was a challenge but the company were so helpful and professional. James talked me through the process and gave me good advice. On moving day, Matt, Callum and Mark went above and beyond on one of the hottest days of the year. I would definately use this company again and recommend them to my family and friends. What a brilliant team , James and Chris did an excellent job moving some items of furniture from 2 different locations to our son’s new house. They were polite and friendly and so helpful. When I asked for a number of extra items to put in the van it was absolutely no problem. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a removal company.

Chris in the office was helpful and patient. Clear, swift communication. Made sure we got the right van for the job and helped with solving the stress on a constantly shifting move date.

Steve and Matt who came to the house on the day were absolute gents. Got the job done well nd quickly and helped get everything out and into the right rooms at the new house.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this company based on my experience.

I paid £780 for what I expected to be a professional removals service, but unfortunately the service fell well below that standard.

The team arrived around three hours late, and throughout the delay I received very little information. The updates I did receive were conflicting, which made an already stressful moving day even more frustrating.

During the move, several items were damaged, including my TV unit, wardrobe backing and coffee table. My new home was also damaged, with marks to the hallway walls and banister.

I was particularly concerned by the way some of the work was carried out. One member of the team was wearing flip-flops while moving heavy furniture, and I witnessed one person carrying a large bookshelf and other oversized items alone, above their head, rather than using two people. I have photographs of this. It demonstrated a lack of care and attention and, in my view, significantly increased the risk of damage.

To make matters worse, equipment that had been included in my quotation and confirmed by email wasn't provided. No TV box was supplied, increasing the risk of damage to my television, and no wardrobe boxes were brought either. This left me frantically emptying wardrobes and throwing clothes into my car at the last minute.

One thing I will say is that communication was excellent when it came to providing a quote, confirming the booking and taking payment. Unfortunately, that level of customer service disappeared once there was a problem. Responses regarding my complaint have been slow and disappointing, which has only added to my frustration.

Overall, I paid for a professional removals service but received poor communication on the day, missing equipment, careless handling of my belongings and damage to both my furniture and my property. I have raised a formal complaint and am seeking a partial refund and compensation for the damage caused.

I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and improves both the quality of its removals service and its aftercare when customers experience problems.

I can't praise the two guys (I can't remember their names sorry) who arrived to do my house move in last Thursdays searing heat enough. They were polite friendly and handled my stuff with care. They definitely are a credit to the company. I have already recommend the company to my Niece who is due to move herself soon.

The lads that moved use Jude and Leroy have been amazing from beginning to end. Also their 2 colleagues that helped them load in Hull, before Jude and Leroy drive 4 hours to Norwich and then decanted our belongings and then return to Hull. Top grafters and right nice lads.

Great price, great service. Really friendly guys, with down to earth attitudes, yet still professional .

A big thanks you to all the guys involved in our move. The team arrived as said on our move day and worked at a great pace. They were very polite and friendly. Extremely careful with all our furniture, boxes, all our fragile stuff and other bits and bobs.
On arrival at our new home again arrived as said. The transition of all our furniture etc went as smooth as anything. Things were placed in rooms and out buildings as requested.
Our transition from North Lincs to our new home in Aberdeenshire couldn't have gone any better.

Absolutely brilliant house removal service from Geoff, Ian, and Gav. From start to finish they were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They handled everything with great care, worked quickly without cutting corners, and made what could have been a stressful move feel smooth and easy. Nothing was too much trouble, and their positive attitude really stood out. I couldn’t have asked for a better team — highly recommend their service to anyone looking for a reliable and hardworking removal crew.

Poor. Turned up late, complained about the amount of belongings to move which I’d paid in full for. Careless, marked furniture. Saw one person throwing my boxes the length of the van. Didn’t complete the task paid for. Would NOT recommend.

The whole process was easy, efficient and a great price.
Chris initially rang me, arranged to come to my house and view what I needed to move. There was a lot of chaos but he didn't find it an issue at all. He gave me the quote straight away and I was happy with it.
James liaised with me via email and was very helpful.
Moving day!
Wow, Stephen and Mike arrived at 8:30 am and they never stopped. They were so friendly, highly efficient and went above and beyond. I have a large, solid oak wardrobe that due to the layout of my house was impossible to get out. They dismantled it, along with my bed and sofa.
Watching them fit everything on the 7.5 ton truck was like watching masters at jigsaw.
At the other end, 100 mile distance, they unloaded, put all my furniture back together in the rooms I wanted.
Not once did they complain or stop smiling.
Those guys worked their socks off.
Nothing was damaged at all as they were so professional.

I cannot recommend this company enough.
