Wouldn’t recommend this company at all! 
Their lack of communication and lack of customer service is so shocking that I’m surprised they have any good reviews. 
We booked them for a house move on 28th June this year. I had to contact them the day before to request BACs details as it said in fine print full payment had to be made before the move. I suppose this is so when they mess you around it doesn’t really matter because they already have your money! I was then advised the movers would be there at 9am. 9am comes on the day of the move and no one turned up. It got to 10am and I did not have any communication so I called them. “There has been staffing issues they are on their way. I will call you back when I know how long they will be”… another hour and a half and no one has turned up. New excuse this time “they had a job they had to finish in Leeds they will be with you soon”… an hour later “yes they are on their way they’ll be with you in the hour”. That call was around 1pm and then we received a phone call at 2pm from the actual movers that they would be with us in an hour. So they turned up at 3pm! That is a whole 6 hours after the original promised time. Turns out they had 2 jobs to do before ours so they were never going to be with us any earlier than 3pm. Because of being constantly misled about the situation we ended up with a freezer full of food that ended up in the bin and what should have been a fairly straightforward move became a nightmare. Even now I’m still chasing the company as someone told us on 28th June that we would get some of our fee refunded. We keep being told we will be getting a call back and have nothing. We are going to end up taking things further because of the distress we faced on that day. And if the company do read this… lying to and misleading customers is not the way to run a business. They since asked us to remove the review with the promise they would be in contact with us in 24hours to resolve things. That was on Friday 4th July… it’s now Monday 7th July still waiting for communication even after emailing and calling

This company handled my move and were absolutely brilliant, provided a service that I’d recommend 100%.
Chris came to assess the job, 6 men, lorry and 2 vans, really good price.
Professional, courteous and respectful. The team got the job done, took the stress out of moving.

Liam and Steve who helped on the day for our removals were absolutely outstanding. They both took really good care of our belongings and we're some of the friendliest people you could meet. Great value at £350 which was suppose to come with a 5 tonne luton van but instead ended up with a 7.5 tonne van which was a bonus and very chuffed with. The only improvement I would ask is better communication from the head office but again, I understand the need to jump in to help with a job so all is forgiven. Worth every penny!

We had Brett, Tom and Carl. They were brilliant, and worked so hard when it was the hottest day of the year. We had a lengthy wait for the keys, but they were absolutely fine. All the property safely delivered too 😁

Initial Review (30.06.25):
The removal team were very polite and professional on the day of our move. Unfortunately, they broke our dining table. They immediately took responsibility and assured us it would be handled through their insurance. We provided the necessary documentation, including photos and the invoice, and were told the matter would be passed to their insurers.

However, the management team did not show the same level of professionalism. We were repeatedly fobbed off, and they eventually stopped responding to our calls and emails. As of 30th June, nearly four weeks after our move on 4th June, we had received no resolution. I would have given 1 star, but the removal staff were so courteous that I initially gave 2.

Updated Review (20.08.25):
Sadly, I’ve had to downgrade my rating to 1 star after multiple failed attempts to resolve the issue. My husband’s calls were ignored, and although I spoke with one of the directors, he was unable to resolve the matter due to internal disagreements.

In one of our early conversations, I was asked to remove my negative review, which I declined until the issue was resolved. After several calls, we were told the insurance wouldn’t cover a “new for old” replacement and were offered around £150 for a £500 table.

In a later conversation, the story changed: we were told the removal men claimed it was my husband's fault the table broke. At that point, it became clear we were unlikely to receive a fair resolution.

One director even said, “It was the removal men who broke the table, so why is it our problem?” I’ll leave you to interpret that statement.

After weeks of patience, we’ve given up. If you choose to use this company, I sincerely hope nothing of yours gets damaged.

Wow what a great job these guys did moving us from East Yorkshire to County Down. A two day job in the heat and everyone was polite and worked like trojans. Absolutely first class in everything they did. Highly recommend each and everyone of them. Thank you guys you were FAB.

Avoid.
Got full-blown yelled at over the phone when trying to rearrange for a treadmill to get disassembled, transported and reassembled. It should have been done when the rest of our stuff got moved, but the one guy who can do it was not assigned to the job - brilliant management and planning. Seems to me that as you already had the full payment for the job, we were no longer treated as a priority and had to keep chasing for this to get done.
When it got put off yet again due to a family emergency within the company, I called what I thought to be a landline office number to see if it could be rearranged. A gentleman answered and I politely explained the situation. Turns out the person I was speaking to was affected by aforementioned emergency. I wouldn't expect someone in a crisis to be answering the phone but they did. I explained that it would be good to lock down a new date and time because we only have the house for a few more days and we still have cleaning left to do. All I got back were vague reassurances and no concrete dates.
The final seconds of the call were full-blown yelling in an aggressive tone.
I was so stunned and shaken that I was unable to speak. I pulled the phone slowly away from my ear, something else got said that I couldn't make out and then I hung up. I then called my partner to explain what had happened and was in tears.
I have been working in customer service my entire adult life and in two different countries, and I would not nor have I ever spoken to someone the way I was spoken to.
If you cannot handle customer queries in a courteous and professional manner, you should not be answering the phone.
I understand that this person was unable to assist there and then over the phone, but then point me to someone else who can. Don't get angry with me when I am only enquiring about an unfinished job that you have already had payment for.
There is no excuse for speaking to someone like that.
In the end, the treadmill did get moved but it was not installed properly. And there are lots of big scratches all over it. My expensive treadmill went from looking pristine to this. Terrible company with even worse management. AVOID.
Am now trying to get the company to take responsibility and offer some kind of compensation but all messages are being ignored now. Hope this review can serve as a warning to others.

Used this company via recommendation. Moved house this morning. The service from the manager assessing the quote and arranging the date and time was extremely efficient. The removal men were polite and helpful. They took good care and did the removal in a really good time. This is the first time I have used the company and overall I would describe the service as professional, quick, trustworthy and reliable as well as being very good value for money.

Ian and Dave were helpful, cheerful and hardworking. I'd recommend Tigers Removals and us them again

Very unprofessional, on the day of the move they knew that they had responsibility for removing a large TV from the wall and packing it but came with no tools or packaging, they knew they were responsible for packing my kitchen and disassembling office furniture, but came with no tools and forced me to do it. All this was in the signed contract.
When they arrived to do the move-in at my property again they came with no tools and I had to get them to reassemble furniture, nobody had told their team that this part of the contract.
In the course of the move multiple items were wrecked including a £500+ office chair, a dinner service and several other pieces were destroyed. They also lost the key to a locked filing cabinet.
The final straw was being told that they can't find the signed copy of the contract (which they must have otherwise the job would not have gone ahead) so the insurance on the move is void.
To call them cowboys is an insult to cowboys. Do not trust a word these guys tell you they are lying, unprofessional con artists who should not be in business.

Quick update, the amount of my stuff that they seem to have lost is staggering. All my cutlery bar a couple of knives, my computer keyboard and other stuff from my office. Basically, for the stuff they packed there seems to be a 50:50 chance that they lost it.

Tiger removals were very professional from the quote to the actual removal day. Really helpful and friendly guys, made a very busy situation easy to deal with. Went above and beyond tightening bolts and making sure furniture safe and secure in the new house.

I would highly recommend these guys. They took all the stress out of moving away l,never stopped working, very professional and no hassle. Scott, Wayne and Geoff were brilliant....even with their first Piano move. Good laugh too 😉. Thanks guys, cracking job. 👍

Don't use Tigers unless you want damaged furniture and an inaccurate quote!

Plates smashed, photos smashed, desk now in two pieces... a mannequin missing a leg the list goes on.. no end of things scratched or scuffed.

no protective sheets were used, not stacked or secured in the back of the lorry.

and had it not been for Jeff we wouldn't have been able to get our Sofa out after they failed to provide window removal, which was discussed via email and phone.

From my initial enquiry through to the quote and booking, everyone I encountered was so friendly and helpful.
The team on removal day were incredible. I am not sure I can do justice to how amazing they were.
My house was packed up and ready to go so the team managed to load the vans in no time. Super quick, super efficient. It was also really lovely to hear them really caring about each other when lifting some of the bigger items. Great team spirit
We had time for a break and chat and what an ace bunch – fab banter too.
My move in at the other side was horrendous. Previous owners were in chaos, not packed and stuff everywhere. They actually thought they could shuttle things down the road by themselves.
I totally appreciate the thinking and planning the team applied to how to load a vehicle – it isn’t as straightforward as people probably think!!!
Anyway the whole downstairs was covered with stuff and everywhere needed cleaning.
But my Tiger team, while helping to keep me calm, sprang in to action. They helped the owners load their one van multiple times, while also moving my items in to the bedrooms of my choice – even helping to put a bed together and items in to place so my daughters room was set up for when she came home. So thoughtful.
Honestly the team were so supportive and helped me get through what was a horrendous experience.
Fred, Ryan, Geoff and Karl – you are truly amazing people.
