The Old Cinema Arvostelua

I bought something for someone else, to be delivered to Birmingham,
Staff were friendly, patient and got everything sorted really efficiently.
The only ‘ problem’ was the website, which ignored my request for delivery. Your staff sorted that out though.

Helpful people and product was packaged well. Helped a lot with carrying the item back home!

Helpful and professional, as always.

Delighted to source the Old Cinema through an online search for vintage sofas and lounge chairs for a renovation. It's always unnerving to order sight unseen, but the communication was solid and the product very much as described and articulated through imagery and narratives. The upholstery, new, is very very nice and the patina on pieces has been made to feel clean and warm. Beautiful selection of midcentury modern and more.

Fantastic range of items. The online buying experience is very straightforward, but what is great is that there is also a real person at the end of the phone to answer questions too! The only criticism is have is that they don’t have their own delivery service included.

Delivered on time, exactly as described and a flawless timeless antique

Great product, communications and delivery

Lovely assistance. Knowledgeable and calm in their sale.

Very reliable. Superb service. Talking about their inventory: blows you away. Extremely careful and well tasted, incredible collection of rare vintage and mid century furniture and accessories.

The product was exactly as seen on the website and was in beautiful condition. Delivery during bank holidays was efficient as well.

Excellent service. I ordered item pretty much last minute and emailed to ask for expedited postage and delivery.
Email answered and item arrived ahead of schedule - greatly appreciated.

Helpful and knowledgeable staff were able to guide me to the piece I had seen whilst browsing and negotiate an acceptable price. The item was carefully wrapped for my collection a couple of hours later. The Old Cinema is always a great place to look for the unusual or the special piece of furniture that meets your needs. Highly recommended!

I bought in store - good team and fast delivery

I love the Old Cinema, such a variety and abundance of interesting objects and great furniture and everything in between. I recently bought an item that I spotted on the weekly email update and purchase and collection was very smooth. When I called in to collect the item, it was wrapped and ready to go in a lovely Old Cinema bag

I have made two separate purchases from The Old Cinema (a pair of Art Deco Style Up-lighters and a pair of Art Deco Bedside Lamps) and have been delighted with both. They were dispatched speedily and arrived carefully wrapped. I had a minor issue (missing holding screw for one of the bedside lamps) which I flagged up to The Old Cinema and they went above and beyond to address it. Excellent customer service. I would definitely be happy to purchase other items in future.

Just a great service from a trusted place
