The Old Cinema Arvostelua

We are very happy with our purchase from The Old Cinema and were very happy with the entire process. We had a prompt, friendly and helpful response to an initial inquiry, purchased the product based on online photos/description only, and were very happy with the product and its condition when it arrived. The Old Cinema was helpful and accommodating on delivery, as well. Just an excellent experience overall.

Perfection. I just got my new sideboard. When I saw it in the shop it had a bad scratch on one side. They tried to fix it but they couldn’t. They recommended me their usual restorer and (just for a small amount of money) it looks brand new -zero marks on a 75 YO vintage piece. The delivery took no time and the two chaps were über profesional and charming. Thank you ❤️

Excellent service staff, very helpful with pickup of purchases and aiding with first time buying online, with negotiated price.
Disappointed that purchased product required a lot of remedial work to make it useable and safe.

The Old Cinema have some of the best vintage and antique furniture and decorative objects around in terms of style and condition. Definitely a notch above other sellers I've seen, and delivery is arranged conveniently and quickly with items very well-packaged during transit.

Great experience dealing with the staff and our table arrived promptly and was really well wrapped and protected - definitely recommend this place!

Polite, helpful and knowledge team.
Great selection of constantly changing stock - purchased a mid-century sideboard online (website description and imagery good enough to help make an informed decision).
Then when we came in to look at our purchase (& arrange collection), we ended up making a further purchase of a mid-century chair!
All very straightforward and products well packaged/wrapped. Porters were also friendly and helpful lifting our goods into the van.
A great all-round team performance!

Love the vase. Great price and really well packaged and delivered with care

I regularly visit the old cinema and fell in love with a coffee table. The website is an excellent way to view the items and it was purchased with ease. They held the coffee table for a couple of weeks and the delivery firm were on time. Great place and can’t wait to return.

Very responsive. Kept me updated on the progress of my purchase.

They could not have been more helpful or professional

The items were exactly as described and shown in the photographs, they arrived promptly and well packaged

Teak sideboard had been restored wonderfully. Great care was taken with the delivery - very well packaged.

Two elegant floor lamps purchased and delivered promptly and in good condition. The Old Cinema staff member was very helpful in answering my questions.

Didn’t think I would find a vintage piece like that at good price.seller was open to negotiating a price. Very helpful & courteous staff.quick delivery

This company has some really super old textiles, in beautiful condition. I’ve been very pleased with everything I’ve purchased here, and prices have been reasonable.😍

The reason i’ve knocked off a star is for shipping - because they charge you for special delivery, the most expensive service, and use tracked 48, which is pretty much the cheapest. ☹️

This isn't my first purchase from the old cinema team, but they are now the first site we visit when looking for items.
Great service, easy communications, the delivery service team are exceptionally good.
Items always arrive well protected and in good clean condition.

Lovely stuff, un-scary prices, charming and obliging staff. What's not to like?

Wonderful store and staff is super helpful and friendly. They arranged for our items to be boxed up nicely and shipped to us in the U.S. We would definitely buy from them again!

Excellent service and a great variety of antique and vintage products. My favourite shop in London!

Prompt delivery, in fact weeks before expected date. Bespoke painting of bench in farrow and ball colour: excellent job
