Next day delivery, even though I only paid for standard delivery, quick response to e-mails. Only downside, I didn't receive an order confirmation e-mail or invoice until requested, but since the part came next day it didn't really matter. Part was as requested and adequately packed.

Great service from The Heat Xchange. I ordered an ESi ESZVA2LM 2-port actuator on next-day delivery, and it arrived on a Saturday morning, exactly the right part and well packed. Good price and quick, hassle-free service. I'd happily use them again.

My experience with Heat Xchange has been extremely disappointing, not simply because of a failed delivery, but because of the company's attitude and handling of the situation.

I paid for next working day delivery of an urgently required boiler part. More than four working days later, I still had no product. Throughout this period, I was repeatedly assured it would be delivered, yet those assurances consistently proved incorrect.

Despite knowing the urgency, the company failed to establish whether the parcel was lost, provide reliable timescales or offer a practical solution. Instead, I was repeatedly expected to wait based on information from DPD that had already proved unreliable.

Most frustratingly, the company refused to dispatch a replacement, despite having received my payment and failed to fulfil the order. Even when they eventually instructed DPD to cancel and return the parcel, they insisted that another could not be dispatched until DPD confirmed the cancellation. This meant further delays entirely because of the company's own procedures.

This was not simply a courier problem. It was a failure of customer service, accountability and basic problem-solving.

I spent an unreasonable amount of time chasing information, asking obvious questions and suggesting straightforward solutions that the company should have been pursuing itself. There appeared to be little initiative, urgency or genuine willingness to take ownership of the problem.

I would strongly encourage senior management to review the full email exchange and consider whether this is genuinely the standard of customer service they wish to provide. The repeated failure to engage constructively, take responsibility or offer practical solutions was particularly disappointing. An approach of this nature does little to retain customers or inspire confidence in the business. On the contrary, it risks driving customers elsewhere, damaging the company's reputation and ultimately costing it business. My decision to purchase from another supplier is a direct example of that.

Ultimately, I lost confidence and requested a full refund so I could purchase the part elsewhere.

Any business can experience delivery difficulties, but how it responds is within its control. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase, explain basic responsibilities or accommodate a retailer's internal procedures indefinitely.

My experience was of a company that accepted payment but failed to take meaningful responsibility when things went wrong. I would never buy from them again.

This company was highlighted by another supplier who couldn’t provide the part within a reasonable timeframe. I ordered the part online, paid for next day shipping as I had lined up the repair to fit in with other work. The part was listed as in stock, it was only after I had made the payment that I received an email claiming that in fact their system is incorrect and the part is not in stock!!.
I attempted to contact the company over the next few days by phone which only provided automated messages. You can’t speak to anyone, repeated emails followed to get my money refunded which eventually led to a complaint through PayPal. Terrible customer service, unacceptable communication. Will never use again.

Could of got half the price anywhere else no problem..the only reason I shopped here it claimed genuine...
Also paid for order for next day delivery and ordered before cut off time and arrived 2 days later..
So basically a waste of time and money and crooks like this should be avoided..

Nothing I have said is incorrect and that 1st sentence off there website is the reason i thought it was a genuine part..
They sell non genuine parts at inflated prices. You can get the same flow switch at nearly half the price at other outlets.. call it what you like , its a CON

Baxi 242459 FLOW SWITCH REPLACMENT . The Heatxchange are suppliers of GENUINE Baxi parts and spares.

Notice they highlight GENUINE in the same paragraph of selling a non genuine part

The 'Heatxchange' have not provide a requested refund for item ordered and never delivered due to being out of stock - although website stated that it was in stock. Order cancelled within the legal 14 day limit.
It has taken well over a month and much time wasting on my behalf chasing this matter. However, at last I have received the below response, and more importantly, a refund (14th May 26) from Heatxchange. Thank you, but this whole episode has been an unnecessary and frustrating experience. Please don't let others experience this sort of poor service as I have had to.
