Dodgy underhanded company, hiding the contact preferences in their terms and conditions. I don't like being cold called, I would never knowingly give my permission to be cold called. Avoid this company, their quotes are extremely high as well, the lowest price was almost double that of my quoted renewal.

The very same minute I got a quote through I got a call from them. (I had selected not to be contacted)
Very rude lady on the other end of the phone who hang up on me
I will not use this company from now on out of principle.
All calls and emails have been blocked

Process are ridiculous and not do able for a 17 year old trying to insure a 125

Lots of scams came my way after using this website - some that really looked like insurance companies contacting me after but were not - they must be giving access to pretend companies

Just received a email with a quote for £5069, for a Suzuki V Strom 650 valued at £4500.

Currently insured by Hastings, which was £575 for last year, as a first year as a rider. Their renewal quote is £265.

This company is a joke!

Obtained a quote through this website, as others have commented I made absolutely clear I did NOT want to be contacted, yet I immediately start receiving calls about my quote and now I get endless spam/scam text messages presumably as they have now sold my details on. I used to use this site religiously but I would say absolutely avoid like the plague at this point. Shambles.

Opted OUT of every contact preferences for my quote.. got a phone call minutes after about my quote on their website.. out of principle, hung up and gone elsewhere... Absolute cowboys.

The cheapest quote by a mile! Wicked site always love these guys to sort me out have used them for what must be the last 10 years and never let me down.

I noticed a low score here for The Bike Insurer, but my experience of them has been great. I have had insurance through them before, and just recently there was a small issue with my new insurance, they bent over backwards to accommodate and fix the issue. Can't fault them on this experience.

After obtaining an online insurance quote, and despite always being careful to select no communication when getting quotes, I was bombarded by nuisance calls.
Extremely frustrating & infuriating, I will not make the mistake of getting quotes from them again.

Got a few reasonable quotes 3 weeks prior to my renewal went to buy the best quote only to be told there is no market so can't honour my quotes, absolute shower! the fact I heard the word flux on the phone while waiting for a load of nonsense excuses from the rep kind of says it all massive red flag where scam underwriters company flux is concerned. Thebikeinsurer used to be fine.. not anymore. STAY AWAY!

If I could leave zero stars I would do, I am just glad they couldn’t beat my best quote as they advertised, because if their insurance is as good as there customer service, I would hate to have to rely on them.
They couldn’t beat my best quote as they advertise, and so I qualified for the £25, again as they advertise.
I submitted a claim, which was received by them and verified as valid, and that is where we are.
When you call them you get an automated message and leave a number for them to call you back on, WHICH THEY DON’T, and if you email them you just get ignored.
Excellent service, NOT!! I will never have anything to do with them again and advise anyone else not to either.
They are a total waste of time.
