I have been a Rise customer since 2019 and have chosen to support this brand over other brands because it’s Canadian and I believe in the brand.

During the holidays I placed an order for a couple shirts, and once I received them I realized I didn’t like them and needed to return them.

Unfortunately the return package was not delivered by FedEx and was bounced around before being sent back to me.

I reached out to the customer service team at Rise and they worked tirelessly with me for over 2 weeks trying to do everything they could to make sure the package was returned to them, and the original return was honored!

Proof I chose the right brand to support!

Only thing I wish they offered that would make them more competitive would be free returns, and a smoother return process. They currently require a sheet to be filled out by hand and mailed with your return.

I'm 40lb's lighter in lockdown due to the support and continued programme of events. I would recommend RISE to anyone willing to put in the hard work to enable you to loose weight and become fitter.

This place has honestly changed my life.

From an overweight, head-in-the-sand, exercise averse, and unbeknownst to me unhappy person, to a nearly two-stone lighter, healthier, happier, fitter, leaner man who is enjoying exercise for the first time in his life.

I honestly can't say enough good things about Jon and the entire team at The Academy GTC. All the trainers are excellent, the workout can be flexed to allow anyone to get the best out of their time at each session. But most importantly - it's the shared, community belief that encourages you to make the right choices and hit your own personal goals. I joined thinking I might do it for a short time, but I wouldn't be without it now, it's help me make really positive life decisions.

Honestly, joining here is the best decision I've made in years. And there are scores of other people, like me, who know that this is much more than a 'gym' in the traditional sense. It's about building a better way of life through positive choices and decision-making.

I lost 28lbs during the 8-week challenge, but it was about more than that for me. I feel so much better for joining this place. If you're considering getting fitter, healthier and stronger, this is the place to be.

Looked into several gym in the macclesfield area once i read up on them i soon came to realise the academy was the place which fitted my end goal to loose weight with a class fun environment jon philosophy to getting results is fantastic just look at him and that is what i wanted 8 weeks later im 20lbs down and feeling and looking great.

Great place with plenty of support to achieve your ambitions whether that be improved general well being, improved fitness or/and weight loss. Fab team spirit so you are not doing it on your own - the 'Ninjas' are all lovely dedicated people there to support you through good times and bad.

I was in a rut and on a downward spiral; gaining weight, eating the wrong things and not exercising. I knew I needed to do something about it and needed something or someone to bolster my will power if I was going to have any chance of turning things around. I'm still relatively new, having only completed a month but having lost over a stone in weight and feeling so much better mentally already BUT this place has given me the desire to be the best and the healthiest me - just like it has for hundreds before me and if you give it a chance it will for you too. Absolute 11 out of 10 place and people!!!!

Joined in Sept 19. Lost 20 pounds in 7 weeks, look and feel a whole lot better. Great team to work with and like mided people. Great variety of sessions to keep you motivated.

The Academy is an extremely welcoming and friendly environment for anybody who is looking to improve their health and fitness. All of the instructors are knowledgeable and take time to ensure they are teaching correct techniques. The members are very friendly and it creates a very unintimidating atmosphere. I highly recommend The Academy, particularly if you are nervous about joining a gym. You'll be very well looked after

The academy gym is a fantastic place, full of supportive people who are with you on your weight loss journey. I can't say enough how they have helped me stay motivated to achieve my goals. The coaches are always available for advice and the varied sessions in the gym are a fantastic way to never get bored of working out.
Fully recommend this place for anyone.

The Academy has helped me to lose 20lbs so far through lifestyle and dietary advice and exercise. The exercise classes are tough but fun. It's a supportive environment where we are encouraged to only compete with ourselves while working with others and it is non-judgmental. Thank you!

I joined the Academy two months ago overweight (14 stone) and struggling to get my socks on in the morning! I took advantage of the 20lb challenge and actually managed to lose over 22lb! The support you get is superb, the coaches are brilliant and the sessions never get boring as they’re different everyday and are changed every month. Ive met some lovely people on my journey and am staying on after my challenge to see how far I can push myself. Thank you Academy GTC!!!!

A supportive and welcoming atmosphere from the coaches to the other members. Sessions full of variety and different options for all levels of fitness. I've been a member for 2 months and just completed the 20lb challenge so feeling great, best decision to join. Highly recommend!

The academy isn't a gym, it's a support network with all the tools to change your life. I have been a member for 8 weeks now and I feel smaller, more awake and happier!

I’m so impressed with the support and friendliness of the academy. I’ve been training now for 5 weeks and lost 10 lbs in weight and 12% body fat. I wasn’t overweight when I started but wanted to get fitter. I’m certainly going in the right direction. The classes are hard work but really good! Looking forward to my results in the next 5 weeks

Not been to anything like this before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say that it is a very welcoming place with fantastic coaches and people. There is plenty of really useful information and training videos to make sure that you are performing the exercises correctly if you're a newcomer. Also, there is lots of advice on nutrition and meal-packs are provided, which give you loads of options for eating the right foods. It feels like it is a really great place so I would highly recommend this to anyone who is thinking of joining but isn’t sure.
