Extraordinarily helpful, both on enquiry and in the store. This stores is a gem in a desert. There just aren't agricultural stores with this range anywhere around any more.

Wanted a new mower, selected the cobra, phoned for availability, Will an older guy answered, said he would check and phone back,Never did !!
Went there next day spoke to a supervisor in her little glass office, same again, she took my details,I'll phone you back, she Never did, over 30 years I've been using TFM very poor service, very poor

I recently changed from my nearest agri store to TFM because of bad service from the other company. TFM have been nothing but kind, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. They have a great range of products, all at great prices. Thanks TFM Ludlow from a new but loyal customer!

We have just purchased 2 x bags of hydro soft granule salt at £20.99 per bag.

We appreciate there may be a small price difference with other local suppliers, but the same product at another store (Cambers, which is also a Farm and Country store of a similar size) is £14.25 per bag.

Why is there such a huge difference for a comparable product is the same type of store?

The staffs knowledge is next to none they have so much help in choosing the correct food and wormer for my horse

I have been buying dog food there for a number of years - everyone is always very helpful and friendly. The range of raw foods for dogs just isn't available anywhere else in the area, and its been very useful that they also stock Millies Wolfheart dried complete food.
Always quick to offer help carrying things out to my car :-)

I would really like to praise Phil one of the very helpful person there also When I don't know where something in the shop or something about lawnmower/products Phil is there to show me and I want to point out he is very polite and take 5 minute to stop help me . Bromsgrove

Really unhelpful man who responded to my email. I had to email twice, as he didn't have the courtesy to even read the entirety of my email. Stuff might be cheaper but when staff are unhelpful, why bother shopping through here?

I absolutely love this store in Banbury. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I have been helped several times by Abdul who is engaging and always willing to help me load heavy bags into my car. The range they have is vast and the prices are very reasonable. The tall slim lady with wild blonde updo hair is so lovely and welcoming… as well as knowing the stock.

Delivery arrived morning instead of afternoon! Had to come out of important zoom meeting! Delivery note specified afternoon delivery plus phone first !! None of this was followed! After inquiry manager was too busy to respond and left to junior to reply ! Reason : new driver which is suspect??

Took my poorly running Stilh combi unit into Newport store in the Autumn for it to go to Stableford to be fixed. After a while had call to say it needed a new carburettor so instructed them to go ahead. Picked it up 5 days later and used if for 5 mins to do the job it had failed in.
Went to cut my hedges in February and it was just as poorly as when it had gone in to be fixed in the Autumn. Down to Newport again and after 3 weeks away called in Stableford today to see what was happening. Told it was at Newport and fixed FoC with an adjustment to the "New" carburettor. Picked it up in Newport and is it fixed ? Is it *********. Just as bad as before and totally ripped off. Do you not check your work .Would post video here if I could do ,.but utterly ***** off with them

Helpful in store and quick delivery

It is easy to take for granted having easy access to these stores. A visit is more joy than chore. Staff are pleasant and helpful - especially Ellie in the workshop.
Prices are at least fair

Been Using the Ludlow branch for a couple of years. The staff are always so helpful & friendly, particular mention for Connor who was super helpful yesterday.

Bought a Stihl Kombi in 06/2009 from TFM. I needed the serial number from the machine as the label had worn off and I needed it to identify spare parts.

With the limited information my memory could supply they spent time looking back through their records and found the transaction from 15 years ago!

TFM then rang me back with the serial number of the machine which has allowed to me to look online for spare parts.

They could have just re-directed me to the nearest dealer as the unit is well outside warranty but they made the effort to check and call back even though they don't sell "engine spares".

Impressive customer service that is difficult to find these days.

For several years, I've been a loyal customer of TFM Super Store, entrusting them with the maintenance and servicing of my two ride-on lawnmowers. Each time, I've invested a significant amount of money in their services, expecting quality work in return. Earlier this year, I once again turned to them to service and repair both of my lawnmowers. Disappointingly, it became evident just a few days after receiving them back that the repair work had been subpar; both machines had to be picked up for a second round of servicing and repairs.

Fast forward to September, after several rounds of chasing them, I was able to retrieve one of my lawnmowers. At this point, the store insisted that I make another payment for the service, even though the second mower was still not operational despite their previous attempt to fix it. Naturally, this led to a considerable amount of frustration on my part.

I conveyed my dissatisfaction to Richard, the service manager, stating that although I would reluctantly settle the bill this time, I had no intention of bringing either of my lawnmowers back for servicing in the future. To my surprise, Richard's response was curt and abrupt. He told me I didn't have to pay and added that he would be perfectly content not to see any more business from me in the future.

This interaction left a bad taste in my mouth and certainly ranks as one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. It also raised concerns about the leadership of the business, making me hope that Richard isn't the owner. Such an approach to customer service is far from encouraging and has led me to reconsider where I'll take my business in the future for both Servicing and parts.

Hello, I'm Alexandru, today was the most unpleasant day of my life spent in your store, which has very good products, quality, price, but with some unprofessional staff. Let me tell you what I experienced, I was invited by a family of friends to your store because they were satisfied with your products; 3 families entered the store, I took a stroller, I bought what I needed and one of the family bought a bag of potatoes and put it in my cart, all good, they took the bag of potatoes, paid at home and left the store before us, when we also arrived at home to pay, a person who worked outside came to the house and he asked how many bags of potatoes I paid, my colleague answered that I paid for 2 bags and he started talking loudly to other customers that I had 3 bags and stole one. I got angry and informed him that my colleague paid at I showed another house with the receipt and I asked him why he is accusing someone if he is not sure that it will happen and I think that if you are not sure you can do it professionally without anyone knowing. I asked to speak with the manager (Alex) that I have I tried to inform him of what happened but he didn't let me explain, I was even stopped in a harsh and unprofessional tone. Thank you to the operator or cashier (85863) who came to the manager's office and admitted that what happened was wrong and apologized. I felt that I was treated by a SMART person. WHAT TO UNDERSTAND FROM WHAT I FELT LIKE A STORE WITH DIFFERENTIATED PRODUCTS, PREMIUM, GOOD PRICES, HAS EMPLOYEES WHO LIKE CUSTOMERS WHO SPEAK ANOTHER LANGUAGE, I SAY IT PROFESSIONALLY BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE ANYONE ELSE!! SHOULD I ENTER THIS STORE AGAIN?? All this happened at TFM Stableford Brdgnorth Shropsire WV15 5 LS. Receipt no: 01003316031 / 0102401529. I attempted on two occasions to purchase a robotic mower from TFM. On the first occasion, I called to check stock and was assured the item was in stock. I paid in full on the phone only to find that most of the parts were missing on collection resulting in a complex refund.

The day after I was called advising they had found stock, so again I purchased and arranged collection. This time the product wasn’t fully registered making the product unusable. Despite multiple long waits on the phone to try and resolve I finally decided it best to return the mower as I was just being passed from one person to another.

The return was awful, as I was at another TFM location, staff were unable to refund and generally unhelpful. It’s the first time I’ve been asked for a utility bill at a shop for a return, having already provided proof of purchase and photo ID.

This has been a complete waste of time and awful customer experience

Purchased Clover compost from Penkridge branch for years now, quality was always good but this year some of the bags I purchased were bone dry and water would not soak into it.
I had to mix the compost in a wheelbarrow like mixing concrete.
I informed them of this and they asked me to pick up some replacements.
Have just opened these and they are the same, have contacted them again but they are just ignoring me.
Not a good service to local people, I will tell all my fellow gardeners in the area to avoid purchasing this product.

I've been a new customer to TFM since moving to a large farm house 5 weeks ago. I've had great service from them so far. I love walking around the store which is always well stocked, plenty of friendly staff on duty, plenty of free car parking space. I've even checked out some of their pricing against local competitors and supermarkets and found their prices are generally good value, not overpriced.
