Tempest Graduations Arvostelua 

I ordered my pictures in early April and till this day have not received my items. It’s been almost 2 months.

We were promised maximum wait of 28 days. I emailed to ask for an update and only then was I made aware of the delay. I received no compensation or refund. My emails were also ignored. Avoid using this for your graduations universities!!

Rip off charges on top of the expensive photos, why would a university choose Tempest is outside of understanding. I am going to start a campaign against this company to make sure our voice going to be heard across all universities that use Tempest. I also want to encourage everyone to do the same so that at least one day our voices going to be heard.

Tempest charges for a large photo are £30 whereas normally it cost £1 on Photobox. Also, the medium photo also charges £30 why? it should be cheaper than the large one.

Moreover, the order amount was £114.50 and still, Tempest wants to charge £6 for delivery so in nutshell they just want us to give all our money, or they want to blackmail us and distort money as much as they can. This is daylight robbery and where is government?

I have taken a copy of the basket at checkout as proof of the charges just to warn Tempest that stop blackmailing university graduates who are not even started to earn money and you want to rob them.

The website is confusing and does not allow you to properly review the photos.
There is a 'rotate' button but when you click it the frame rotates but the photo goes blank
The phots are expensive and blurry and you dont really know what you are paying

There are too many Tempest pages, so I'm posting to all Tesmpest related review pages.

I overheard conversations between a possible manager and a photographer within the area of Taunton. After questioning a few other people who worked as photographers, they said they experienced similar things. This company is terrible! I didn't work for them or have anything to do with them, but knowing how they treat their photographers is terrible. I refuse to stand for bullying! I recommend all schools and associates should stop using this company. They don't seem to be properly regulated.

The prices are expensive and you paying £6 for delivery and you need to wait up to 28 days for the pictures. What are you paying then for????

Very professional, helped us get a photo when short on time. Kind and helpful staff

Horrible experience with this company. First off all they never gave me the deposit of £10 back, which they said they would sort out by the next day, which they never did. I followed this up but never got any reply or the refund. Then the order never arrived and I got an email from another student saying they were sent my order and all of my personal details was sent to their home. I have tried to get them to send me the order to my address but never got a response. Does not feel great to have all of my details and photos sent to another person and also never received the order that I payed for.

Terrible website

Tempest website wont let me preview images or zoom into them. It keeps referring me to the same page when I click on orders. The print sizes are not shown clearly and when rotated it crops the photo.

It has now been 2 months since I paid for my graduation photos. I have emailed 8 mails now and only 1 response, otherwise totally ghosted. I will start litigation 2 weeks from now if the matter is not resolved. To other students considering paying for this: DONT!!

Their website and clarity of viewing the photographs is frankly awful and not good enough at all for 2021 standards. You cannot zoom into the photograph to any meaningful degree, and if you try using the in-built browser zoom function you end up with a pixelated mess. From the somewhat distant 'view' we had on our computer screen, the family photograph looked quite nice. When they arrived... we saw that the facial expressions and detail was not as ideal as the photograph on the website had led us to believe. Very deceptive in its own way. Nowadays some websites allow you to open the full image on a separate tab in crystal-clear high definition. The fact that Tempest charge the incredibly high prices that they do and do not offer this at the same time is appalling, and we would seek a partial refund or a choice of different photograph (we had to pick between two different family shots) if at all possible.

I have been emailing and calling trying to contact them to get more information about a package I paid for and I haven't heard back from them!

Disappointed with my latest order. Framed photos are so expensive but the backing is a simple piece of thin white card which has come away on one side of mine, and buckled. It's a deep frame so the card is just covering a void. And don't they realise that we want the same frames we had the year before, so they match? Why change them? The new silver one isn't even silver, it's more gold and grey. Is it too much to ask for matching frames? I did contact to ask if they still had the old design in their warehouse but they responded with 'all available frames are on the website'. Money wasted.

Really happy with the service. Our son graduated in September 2016 so really worried I had missed the boat in getting them. With lockdown over I contacted Tempest with trepidation and was immediately reassured by the lovely lady that the photos had been archived and could be ordered. This I duly did and was even able to take advantage of their online offer of half price prints after purchase of one full price print and so was able to order a few more for the family. I found their service so professional would definitely use them again. Oh and I’ve received all the prints and they are lovely. Many thanks.

I know I have left this a long time but 16 years ago my daughter graduated from University of Wolverhampton she received a Graduation photograph from you but it is the wrong photograph, the photograph
is of a girl who graduated from De Montfort University Leicester. the ref on it is 348/62. I found the photo when I was clearing out cupboards and I have contacted the person who this photo belongs to and I will post it on to them but is there any chance that you would still have my daughters photo. I am hoping, just like other people's comments I've read on here that, i can still order for my pictures which were taken at my graduation July/2019.

I am very disappointed by the lack of communication with Tempest. I have graduated on 20th February from LSHTM and had my photos taken. I placed an order in March and then came the lockdown. I tried to get in touch with the business by email, phone but unsuccessful. I am still waiting for someone to get in touch and reassure me that i will receive these graduation photos which are special memories that I can not afford to loose and I paid so much money.

Trying to contact Tempest to view/order Graduation photos from July 2019. Unfortunately website says closed and lengthy email got a generic response saying my email 'has been deleted'. No other contact options so obviously very upset. Hoping someone can help with similar experience.

I have been trying to get in contact with Tempest to see if it’s possible to order my grad photos from October 2018. I understand their website says they’re shut but I’m worried the longer I wait, the chances are higher that they won’t have my photos anymore :( can anyone help?

Unable to get my graduation pictures from temptest. I graduated in Jan 2020, and I’m hopeful if I can get any advice on obtaining this as I’ll have no memories from the special day
