I have been ordering from this site as they always have a good gluten free pasta available. I also found a wonderful sour cherry jam in Kitchen & Love sour cherry preserves. We like La Veneziane pasta but there is always a good selection and frequent sales.

A bag of dried mushrooms I ordered was filled with tiny bugs. The package was sealed. I discovered the bugs when I went to open the still sealed package about 8 months after I purchased it.

I requested a replacement or refund. Supermarket Italy refused, writing "our polices say that 30 days after delivery of the order is the limit time for the customer to contact us regarding any issues with the order." So I guess the company believes it is ok to sell a tainted food staple that many people will put into their pantry and not minutely inspect when it is received. The bugs could have been in egg form at that point and not even distinguishable from the mushroom dust.

Ordered 5lbs of grated Parmesan cheese. They shipped it in a plastic mailer with a small ice pack….to Arizona were it is 110 degrees. Cheese arrived spoiled and melted. They would not refund or replace it. Offered me a 20% coupon. Don’t waste your money here.
