Subbly Arvostelua 

I was looking forward to having a website built which saves time but I was so wrong. It took 4 days to build a website by AI where as its competitors can take a day to get its customers up and running online and ready to build. I had to come off subbly to purchase a domain. You have to learn how to code. Made me incredibly stressed and miserable did the experience. if you have time to waste then this is for the many people who have the time.

Alot of struggle that Wix, Shopify, and Square plus Patreon don't give you. I've spend money with Subbly I won't ever get back. Extremely Disappointed.

I've increased my rating to 4 stars as the customer service is second to none and has been the whole way through helping me with lots of things right from the beginning but I still don't like the AI way of doing things.

Started off absolutely fantastic! 5 stars all the way until they introduced the AI builder. You have to purchase an AI add on and rebuild your site by talking to AI which is an absolute nightmare. Then once you've done this and relinked everything to your domain you can cancel the AI add on subscription. Great! Until you want to change something on your site! I just want to change one of the photos every 3 months, easy before, now I've got to resubscribe and pay for the AI add on before I can make any changes! Absolutely terrible 😞

Excellent customer service! A fantastic tool for subscription services

OK, buckle in, this is going to be a long one...

TLDR; We didn't get off to a great start but I'm glad I gave them a chance and stuck with it

So I wrote 2 star review here previously because I was unhappy with the customer service on first reaching out to the company. They were quite insulting about my current website which didn't ingratiate them to me, BUT

Andrija reached out to me after my review with a very impassioned email about how they could help me, and offering a generous offer to give them a chance. The email was very persuasive and I decided to give them a chance.

Once we were off to a better start, Andrija did have some very insightful feedback about my current website, and their customer service team has been very helpful while I've been building my new site and getting to grips with everything. There isn't generally anyone around at the weekends but during the week responses on live chat are very helpful and the team go above and beyond to help, oftentimes creating videos to demonstrate how to do something. There are articles detailing how to do lots of things as well.

Having moved from Wix, I have to admit the Subbly site builder isn't as good. I've almost thrown the towel in a couple of times but it was worth persevering. It's certainly not bad, but it is more rigid than the builder on Wix which allows you to put elements absolutely anywhere. Subbly's builder works with a similar drag and drop function and is certainly easy to use for people with little or no coding skills like me, it just takes a bit of perseverance.

While building my site I did encounter a couple of issues which the CS team weren't able to fix and which have been passed on to the relevant department. A little frustrating as otherwise I'm ready to launch, but the team seem very on top of things so hopefully they'll be resolved quickly.

Once the website is built is when Subbly's real power begins, and I'm glad I stuck with it because there really is so much functionality to harness for subscription businesses. In fact the options are so vast it's a bit intimidating! But they do have 'recipes' which give example uses and detail how to set them up. They have a powerful incentive tools such as trial prices, and funnels which can be created to target customers pre, during and post-purchase, as well as the option to promote add-ons, coupon options which give you complete control, and automations with conditions to do pretty much anything you want.

So despite a rocky start, I have to hand it to them, they've won me over and I'm glad I gave them a chance as I think it'll be great for my subscription business.

I host my subscription box on subbly and have for some time. I've tried other products (like shopify with recurring order plugins) but Subbly is built for subscriptions which means they have already thought about all of your specific subscription box needs.

It's super functional, easy to create an attractive website, includes a great dashboard and lots of custom reports you can pull. Their customer service is quick, knowledgeable and friendly.

They have lots of additional features. I pay for an automatic up-sell feature which easily pays for itself!

As they're still young there are features they don't have yet. Users can upvote features that they want so they are developed sooner, and they post updates weekly.
