Stratstone - Land Rover Tonbridge Arvostelua 

This dealership were absolutely on it when it came to selling me an ex JLR owned Range Rover; at 16k miles, one would hope for a relatively risk free purchase.

It took one drive to notice that the parking sensors, front and rear, were not working. Stratstone Tonbridge feigned any knowledge, but when the vehicle was then inspected by my local Stratstone dealership, it transpired that the problem was due to ‘significant damage’. Stratstone Tonbridge did not quibble about paying for the repair (GBP 1800 if I remember correctly) and my local Stratstone dealership in Reading suggested i ask for a written explanation.

After a fairly exhaustive process, Stratstone Tonbridge claimed they ‘could neither confirm or deny that the vehicle had been in an accident’. Point to note here is that i had specifically asked in writing, prior to purchase, whether the vehicle had been in an accident; they confirmed in writing that it had not been.

Bottom line here - I am pursuing this with Trading Standards (who believe i have a sound case) and secondly, buyer beware. The sales agent, Jim P, should hang his head in shame and his written correspondence forms the backbone of my claim with Trading Standards.

Utterly disappointed and truly hope nobody else has to endure the same treatment.

I was very inprest with booking my first service form my Defender, When my wife dropped of the car and informed them that she would be back to collect later after my son's sports day what was across the road she was informed that someone would drop her off as the road is to dangerous to cross, they even dropped the car back after at my son's school. With all my years dealing with top brand dealer ship I have never had it where they would do something like this. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic service from Stratstone Landrover Tonbridge.
When the tailgate strut broke on my Range Rover Autobiography LWB I rang my local dealer and they said 3 weeks before they could look at it. Not much good when you can’t open the boot.
I rang Stratstone Tonbridge on Thursday and they said they could look on Tuesday.
Eleanor was very helpful.
When I dropped it off I was given a lift to the station.
I was kept up to date with the warranty repair thanks to Piers and when it was ready he brought my car to the station and they had valeted it.
I can’t recommend them highly enough.
