Vehicle electrical readouts not working. Vehicle heath check printout was inaccurate

I’ve recently had issues with the steering rack on my F Pace Jaguar, when I became aware this was a common problem with F Pace’s I called Client Care (JLR UK) who sent me on a wild goose chase with it not looking positive I would get a satisfactory resolution.

Thank goodness I booked in at JLR Stratstone, Reading where Keith Homer (Aftersales Manager) agreed to look into the issue for me. I provided Keith with all the information and evidence I had for the fault and he contacted Client Care on my behalf. Had it not been for Keith I have no doubt that I would have been palmed off my Jaguar UK.

Thanks to Keith’s knowledge & awareness of such issues the matter has has been resolved with a positive outcome. I can’t thank Keith enough for all his help over the past few weeks.

My journey with Land Rover Reading began when I purchased my vehicle new, and initially, I couldn't have been more pleased with my choice of dealership. For years, I've trusted them with everything from routine services to MOTs, and they consistently delivered the premium experience you'd expect from a luxury car brand. The staff understood what it meant to be a Land Rover owner, and they treated both me and my vehicle with exceptional care and respect.
However, I'm deeply disappointed to report that recent changes in the service department's management have transformed what was once a stellar experience into something barely recognizable. The contrast is stark and, frankly, shocking. The new customer service management seems to have completely abandoned the values that once made this dealership special.
The most frustrating change has been their complete disregard for customer convenience. Where the previous management team understood the importance of providing courtesy vehicles and ensuring clients weren't left stranded specially when the service has been booked well in advance and agreed the new approach by Keith seems to be "not our problem." They'll take your car and show zero concern for how you'll manage without it. They’ll also take it for a few test drives as well but I’m not too bothered about that however I know other owners will. This isn't just an inconvenience – it's a complete departure from the level of service Land Rover customers expect and deserve.
What's particularly jarring is Keith’s new approach. To be blunt, his demeanor and handling of clients would be more at home in a budget used car lot than at a prestigious Land Rover dealership. There's none of the sophistication or attention to detail that you'd expect from a luxury car brand. Instead, we're treated as mere transactions – get in, get out, next customer.
The current situation is nothing short of atrocious, and it's heartbreaking to see how this new management is eroding Land Rover's brand integrity. This isn't just about convenience or service – it's about maintaining the standards that make Land Rover special. When you invest in a premium vehicle, you expect premium treatment throughout your ownership experience. Sadly, that premium experience at Reading has been replaced with something that feels cheap, rushed, and impersonal.
For a long-time customer who has always championed the Land Rover brand, this decline in service is more than disappointing – it's unacceptable. The dealership urgently needs to reassess its approach to customer service before they permanently damage their reputation among loyal Land Rover owners. The current situation is a far cry from the excellence we've come to expect from the brand, and it's a change that needs to be addressed immediately.

Poor communication from dealership. Was left without car overnight - had to make my own way home on train. Dealership did not ring me once i was forever ringing them. Vehicle health check was only sent the next day when i chased

Really good communication prior to my visit. On the day; repairs completed whilst I waited. Very timely, good coffee, wifi and area to sit and complete some work. Excellent

Absolutely dreadful experience of poor service and long lead time. You have to wait ages for them to even answer the phone. I had to wait 8 weeks for a routine recall or 12 weeks if I wanted a courtesy car.
When you finally had the vehicle, you let me down on timing and kept the car over the weekend.
My service representative didn't respond to emails or phone calls, so I wrote officially the sales manager, who didn't even have the courtesy to reply.

Awful customer service. I cancelled my order a couple of weeks after placing it as the dealer couldn't match another quote I received. I was told from the beginning that my deposit was fully refundable as long as the car hadn't been built, yet I have been refused a refund and outright ignored by the Business Manager there ever since I put through my cancellation. Avoid this dealer as they have zero integrity and extremely poor customer service. I called the dealer again today and I was told by another person there that they are unsure why I haven't been refunded. This clearly shows that the Business Manager I have been dealing with has no clue about their own policies. The contract I signed did not state anything about a no refund policy.
