The level of quality service and access to knowledgeable staff made me come back again and again.

Great selection for items that are hard to find anywhere else, eg Germania Mint products. Having a good inventory of products also such as Scottsdale products.

I purchased Gold bullion in my Questrade RRSP through Sprott Money. They charged a ~2.7% premium over spot price when I purchased the coins. When selling the coins, I found out they only offer 1% BELOW spot.

So I'm losing 3.7% on the transaction, plus 1% annually on vault fees. I would not recommend this service.

Although I gave this a four I am not happy that you use UPS as a delivery service. We have no UPS depot in Elliot Lake and the driver has not gotten a signature on the last two orders. I would prefer using Purolator or Canada Post for my purchases if that is possible. I gave you a four because Kellen was so helpful.

When I placed the first order it took over a week to transfer the money to Sprott. I notified the accounts department that the money would arrive beyond the 48 hours and they were supportive and noted that the money would be late. I also received regular updates regarding the status of my order. The entire process has been pleasant because I am confident that any questions that I have will be answered promptly.

A little over a year ago I bought two 1 0z gold maples from Sprott Gold. The date was Sept. 28, 2023. I had previously purchased twice before with great service. In fact, the dealer I dealt with was extremely attentive and efficient. However, this time the two coins I ordered both had small dents or gashes (hard to tell), small but large enough to be quite noticeable and annoying. I left a message (I cannot remember if it was email or phone) asking if this would affect the value or resale value of the coin. For some reason the messages never got through since I never got a response to see if there was any importance to these dents. I probably should have called the dealer, who I am sure would have addressed my concern, but I did not want to make a big deal out of it since I thought it was not important. I certainly was not comfortable paying for the expense and shipping gold back in the mail.

I went today to see a local gold dealer, Ottawa Gold, and they said the coins in their view were damaged and would only pay a much lower price because they deemed the coins to be damaged and would not pay the same price they would pay for coins in good condition. I was surprise Sprott would have sent coins from a Maple Leaf 2023 1 oz coin in non pristine condition, but I suppose these things happen in shipping. Also, the coins were sent as bullion coins, not as a collectable.

This is mainly a lesson for me. I should have contacted the dealer at Sprott to discuss my concerns in person rather than just leave a message on a weekend. Finding out recently the price difference that Ottawa Gold was offering between damaged and non damaged coins was jarring, and I have to admit made me annoyed I did not get coins in better condition from Sprott to begin with. Afterall, they were 2023 Maples bought in 2023.

I am simply writing this review as a cautionary tale to make people aware of the difference, and to not be shy to contact someone in person. In respect to customer service in respect to their contact person I dealt with they are exceptional and deserving of a 4 star rating for that alone.

Got coins Wanted at Price

Despite the fact that Scotiabank gave me a very hard time about making a payment to Sprott (by blocking my account, reversing the payment, refusing to activate my account because I intended to make a payment to Sprott), Sprott accounting department has been very considerate, understanding and patient.

J'adore le site web, bien conçu, très beau. Il fonctionne bien avec mes vieux navigateur. Je n'ai pas eu de problème lors de la transaction avec Firefox. En cas de problème lors des paiement j'utilise Chrome.
Lorsqu'on sélectionne un lingot, en rafraichissant la page, on peut voir en bas le prix qui se met à jour ce qui permet de pouvoir acheter au prix souhaité. Il n'y a pas d'attente au téléphone, j'ai eu une bonne communication avec Irène (extension 233). Le processus de paiement est claire et facile. Le délai de livraison est quand même rapide.
Le seul problème est que pour la méthode de virement interac, le fait d'afficher sur votre site la question ainsi que la réponse constitue pour moi un petite faille de sécurité. Vous devriez ne pas afficher la réponse mais laisser le client choisir cette réponse qu'il pourrait vous donner par téléphone en mentionnant le numéro de commande ainsi que le numéro de client. Merci.

Smooth and quick service! Timely delivery!

Quality of the product is good. Processing time was quite high though: It took a week to receive the product after the payment was sent via Bank-Pay although it was an in-town delivery. Also, I added a note when placing the order, but that note was completely ignored.

My package has been lost during delivery by UPS and the sprott employees followed up the case and agreed to send another order by fedex.

The process purchasing metals is really easy. The only negative experience was the delay receiving the package from Purolator Courier. Not sure if the delay is due to volume or weather.

Good prices but overall delivery time ($$ clearance and shipping) is too long.
