What I can listen to one song and that's it

I pay for Spotify Premium specifically to get an ad-free listening experience, yet I’m now being subjected to unskippable advertisements.

I understand that podcasts can contain sponsorships from the creators themselves, but if Spotify is putting advertisements in front of paying Premium subscribers, that completely undermines one of the main reasons people pay for Premium in the first place.

If Spotify wants to change what Premium includes, it should be made extremely clear to customers. Paying for a supposedly ad-free service only to encounter unskippable adverts feels misleading.

Very disappointing from a service I’ve paid for for years.

I'VE BEEN USING THEM FOR A WHILE, BUT THE APP CRASHED WHEN I TRIED TO SUBMIT MY ORDER, TBH, WHICH WASTED A GOOD 20 MINUTES OF MY TIME! DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE OVERALL!

I hate to say it but the website was super confusing to navigate, seriously, leaving me pretty frustrated with the whole thing. Very annoying.

HONESTLY SPEAKING, CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS PRACTICALLY NON-EXISTENT, YOU KNOW, WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A COMPANY THIS SIZE! JUST A HEADS UP FOR OTHERS!

Honestly, the shipping was ridiculously slow, like, leaving me pretty frustrated with the whole thing. Avoid if you are in a hurry.

Want to listen to a ten minute podcast? Or a few songs? Too bad,you're on Spotify. I wanted to listen to a podcast episode that only lasted about ten minutes, instead I got five add breaks all about three minutes long . Don't even try to listen to a playlist if you don't have premium,you'll listen to more ads than actual content. Spotify sucks,don't install .

The app has huge problems on windows and this issue is well known and commented on the community but Spotify di nothing to rectify. very poor service. I expect a better customer support as a premium subscriber. My recommendation is to find another music player provider.

I'm trying to export my playlists to import into a competitor. I have various playlists, for example one has over 300 songs. However, using the various "shuffle" settings are ignored and will only shuffle the same blocks of songs. I can hear the same song 3 times before one of the others outside that designated block. Their advice, "sign out then back in to the app" or delete the app and reinstall it. Well, that's not a fix for poorly written software that's what we call in the industry a Band-Aid and it's only a Band-aid if it provides a temporary solution which it still does not. So my question is, has anyone ever figured out how to export their playlists and import to another platform? I'm tired of having to manually select songs outside the block their algo's constantly have on repeat

Awful. Says free trial for a month to find they want to take £1.01 from your account so if youre on you bum with mobey, you cannot start the "free" trial. If you dont pay premium, you can only skip a certain amount of songs and replay a certain amount as well. Down loaded play list also gets deleted if you dobt comply. Go to youtube. If its on Spotify its on YouTube and its worth paying for no ads because theres literally everything on there so you wont be paying multiple services trying to find that 1 thing :) youtube all the way.

It's one of the worst apps in the world, you can't listen to your songs until you pay, which is pretty bad when you're under 18 and your parents are saving every penny.You can't listen to songs, you can't choose what you listen to, it puts shit on there that you don't like and you can't even switch it off.You are constantly interrupted by ads even though you have an adblocker,What bothers me the most is that I can't listen to what I want, only what they force on me.

Ich finde die aktuelle Umsetzung der Kinderkonten bei Spotify absolut unterirdisch.

Ich zahle für ein Premium-Family-Abo und möchte als Elternteil selbst entscheiden können, welche Inhalte meine Kinder hören dürfen. Genau dafür sollte ein verwaltetes Kinderkonto doch da sein.

Dass ausgerechnet Hörspiele wie „Die drei ??? Kids“ in Kinderkonten gesperrt werden, obwohl sie im normalen Spotify-Katalog verfügbar sind und ich die Inhalte als Elternteil ausdrücklich freigeben möchte, ist für mich völlig unverständlich. Hörspiele gehören für viele Familien zu den wichtigsten Inhalten, die Kinder über einen Streamingdienst nutzen.

Besonders absurd finde ich, dass Spotify mir zwar Möglichkeiten zur Verwaltung und Freigabe von Inhalten anbietet, meine Entscheidung bei solchen Hörspielen aber schlicht ignoriert wird. Statt den Eltern die Kontrolle zu geben, entscheidet Spotify pauschal, dass bestimmte Inhalte nicht verfügbar sind.

Für mich ist damit eine Grenze erreicht. Ich werde mein Spotify-Premium-Family-Abo kündigen und zu Apple Music wechseln. Wenn ich für einen Familienservice bezahle, erwarte ich, dass ich als Elternteil sinnvoll verwalten kann, was meine Kinder hören dürfen.

Ich werde diese Erfahrung auch anderen Eltern in meinem Umfeld weitergeben, denn diese Einschränkung sollte man kennen, bevor man sich für Spotify Family entscheidet.

Bitte gebt dieses Feedback an das verantwortliche Produktteam weiter. Die aktuelle Lösung ist aus meiner Sicht völlig an den Bedürfnissen von Familien vorbei entwickelt.

I signed up for a `Free Trial' on Spotify's Audiobook subscription and I made a date on my Calendar to cancel the trial before it became chargeable. Unfortunately this cancellation mysteriously vanished and they charged me the full amount, despite the fact I hadn't used the service for even a second. I spent the best part of 2 hours trying to remedy this without success. They said they send an email out confirming cancellation but having cancelled for second time I still haven't received this email. Just rubbish customer service and avoid their so called Free Trials at all costs!!

Thee is only one problem with Spotify premium as far as this sometimes indecisive person is concerned. With so much choice, what shall I listen to next.

Whether relaxing at home or out and about, Spotify is my go to choice for music, podcasts and audio books. As well as tried and trusted favourites, I use it as a way to discover new artists and groups, by typing two or three letters and randomly choosing one of the things that appears.

Spotify is still serving paid advertisements before podcasts, despite my having a Premium subscription. To be clear, I am not referring to ads that are embedded in the podcast by the creator or host. These are Spotify-delivered ads that play before the podcast starts.

I contacted Customer Support and was informed that this is the expected behaviour under the current offering.

Frankly, I find this quite disappointing. Paying for a Premium subscription while still being served ads before content starts feels contrary to the purpose of a paid, ad-free service. In my view, this significantly reduces the value of the subscription and creates a poor customer experience, zero value in paying for Sportify!

Used to think this was a brilliant app and a real boon to a music loving pensioner until I was kicked off from my son's Family account as we no longer live in the same house. Why call it Family, surely Household if you can't support your own parents in their later years! With 2 kids under 4 unlikely to use, surely due a refund? Shame on you, Spotify: blatant profiteering and I suggest lacking the principles of its foundation. Chasing the dollar. What a world we are turning into...

Ils nous passent ce qu'ils veulent comme musique, on écoute une playlist et d'un coup ça sort de la playlist et c'est eux qui décide ce que l'on doit écouter. Si c'est leur moyen pour nous imposer l'abonnement. C'est mort d'avance, ça ne donne pas du tout envie de le prendre
