Love the patterns and the ease on installation of the peel and stick

My order shipped much faster than I expected! I ended up having to contact customer support after hours with a question--and received a prompt and generous response by the next morning. I am very happy to have ordered!

Great customer service. I had a little trouble getting my order places correctly. My fault. Carrie with customer service responded quickly and worked with me until my order was complete. Have not received the order yet so can't comment on the product yet.

Experienced a technical issue at checkout, resulting in the wrong item being ordered. SF refuses to reprint or accept responsibility. BUYER BEWARE!

I have purchased a number of wallpaper samples from Spoonflower and re-did a wall of mine with one of the designs they carry. The self-pasting paper worked out really well. Fast shipping and the design is beautiful. The one time I had an issue (blurry design) they refunded my money.

Fabric was just what I wanted and Carrie was so helpful with my changes in order.

The ability to become a selling artist is very easy and page set up was a breeze. I like the ability to see the material on mockups. Any questions I have had have been answered quickly and by very friendly people. I haven't had any one interested in my designs yet, which is disappointing. I'm not sure how to get my designs seen.

Carrie was great! She responded timely and extremely helpful. This is a wonderful company to do business with.

I used a Chat assistant named Tiffany C before purchasing fabric for a baby pillow REQUIRING MACHINE EMBROIDERY (THE BABY'S NAME). I asked Tiffany about the denim versus the Poplin for this pillow for EMBROIDERY I am making for a client. She said she recommend the "Organic Cotton Poplin over the denim" I would have been more than happy to buy the correct WEIGHT fabric Denim for my project. I bought what she recommended FOR MACHINE EMBROIDERY which is paper thin and will not hold up for embroidery. I sew pillows for a living and trusted Spoonflower's employee. I wrote customer service and I cannot return this paper-thin fabric that looks washed out and nothing like what is on the website. Very disappointed and cannot charge my client for this loss. Customer Service did give me a shop credit for half but not credit for the fabric I bought.

I purchased peel and stick wallpaper and when I tried to remove a portion of the wallpaper to align it more evenly, it pulled paint off my wall which made the paper unusable. Thankfully, I emailed customer service and they reprinted my order for me! Incredible customer service and they even suggested an ez spray for peel and stick wallpaper to make my next installation easier.

I returned my order (paid over$20 to return). I was unaware of the strict return policy. I am out over $200 and have nothing to show for it. I requested the opportunity to exchange for a more suitable product and was denied. ⚠️ Poor customer service policies.

Viewing the patterns became so slow and tedious that I gave up. I was not using an iPhone to navigate. My desktop computer has had no issues with other companies. Will look for fabrics elsewhere.

I ordered a faux fur product but when it arrived it looked like a cheap picture of faux fur and was nowhere close to being faux fur. I paid premium price and shipping.
Beware ordering from this company it is not as advertised.
They do not refund.
Very unsatisfied customer who will never return.

Updating the review to add:
The fabric poster I ordered actually arrived! After Spoonflower customer service told me it was lost and began processing a refund (which was done quickly), I started getting separate UPS notifications that the item was on the way. Unfortunately it missed the projected delivery date (4 days late) and I was already away, never got a chance to use it in presenting.

The fabric, quality, clarity (no pixelation at all!), and value really are great and incomparable to any other service. So I would say use - with caution. Give yourself 2 weeks out from travel to ensure you have any poster or presentation materials.

And it is also clear that Spoonflower needs to work on its communication with its shipping service, keeping track of items, and accurately projecting delivery dates. Customer service availability over the phone would also be an improvement. I was glad I got a person (instead of an AI bot) over chat, but it was sluggish and took over an hour for something that would have been a 10-15 minute phone call.

Original Review:
I do not recommend Spoonflower for printing scientific posters or teaching materials where it's arrival is time sensitive.

Despite following all directions, including a guaranteed shipping date that left a 2-3 day buffer before presentation date, I did not receive the product. When I checked the tracking number, it showed that a UPS label had been printed 6 days prior, with no updates on UPS every receiving or starting the shipping process. I contacted customer service and was told "best to assume it has been lost." Their turnaround time for a replacement, even with rush options and fastest shipping, is 4-5 days. I ended up giving my field presentation with no visuals.

Despite liking the product previously and quality of the printing and fabric, this was shockingly unreliable. I would not use Spoonflower again and I have stopped recommending them to my colleagues.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the prints on the fabric. It had the appearance of a photocopied design on good fabric. I have also found the wallpaper prints to be unacceptable for most patterns.

Have been a customer for years, but quality of print is inferior and I will likely not bother with ordering and paying for swatches that are disappointing.

I ordered over a $1000 dollars in yards of fabric. Have a great selection of patterns, but very misleading on what they shoe and what you get on some of these patterns. First they show a picture at the end of someone holding thr material. Didn't realize , apparently , those pictures were for the fleece blankets. So that is confusing. Now thr square photos they show ,some. Apparently are representing thr entire yard shown and some, which I figured upon delivery, are shown thr pattern per a quarter. Also some patterns are so Huge they don't align properly on the fabric per cuts so there's no way to get use of pictures of designs without them getting cut off in a quarter cut or half cut. Spoke in a chat with customer service amd she ended up saying she will follow up with a manager and let me know.in the middle of oir conversation. I can't use certain yards unless I use the entire yard to get my money's worth. Some came as panel designs and not even in full four quarters. No way can you makr pillows with some of these the way they are printed. For the amount of money they charge I would a yard woth full use of designs not just actual material Also surprised they don't have a system that you have a yard of fabric and then can align and size the prints in the four quarters of the yard to see how it will align a d to make sure you get use of pictures in fabric, evenly. Hopefully I here an acceptable follow up soon. The original chat didn't even let me get all the numbers in that jad issued, one I jave is very blurry. She kept asking for photos, before I csn finish putting in the pieces that jad issues, and then sending me their photos and not understanding what i was saying about alignment etc.

My order was shipped promptly. I had a small issue with delivery which customer service was quick to get back to me, and all was resolved. The fabric is great!

I’ve ordered several fabrics from Spoonflower. The cost may be a bit higher than commercially printed fabric, but sometimes you just need the “right” fabric which isn’t available anywhere else. I’ve purchased Fill-a-Yard fabric as well which allows me to enjoy several designs in a single yard (great for scrap quilting!). I recently experienced a problem with print quality - the first time ever. Spoonflower resolved the issue right away with no fuss. Such good customer service. I love not needing them, but also love that when CS is needed, the interaction is stress-free. I will continue shopping the wonderful options at Spoonflower. There’s something for everyone.
