Solos Holidays Arvostelua 

Just finished a fantastic holiday with solos in Zakinthos. Great location near beach and the rep, Mark A was amazing. He went far above the call of duty with a guest who had limited mobility. He was always on time and helpful in every situation. I would return.

Just returned from a lovely holiday at the Angela Studios in Zakynthos with Solos. I have travelled with Solos on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The apartments were clean and very well located being just a short walk from the beach and had a relaxing quiet pool area. Kelly was on hand every morning to provide us with breakfast and we ate out at nearby tavernas each evening. It was a great crowd and we had a lot of laughs.
Tour leaders Gary Haskins and Mark Atherton were both excellent at arranging meals, trips, evening entertainment and just generally making sure we were happy. A good tour leader is what makes Solos stand out in my opinion and really enhances the holiday. The reservations staff also deserve a mention for their helpfulness and patience when booking ...I have already booked my next one....

Fabulous group of people with an excellent rep who went out of his way to include us all. The only thing that lets solos down is the accommodation which is sometimes less than basic and some rooms really do need an update as it certainly isn’t a cheap holiday

My first solo holiday. Unfortunately, the start of the holiday was spoilt with a change of flight. This meant that I had to have an overnight stay in a hotel because the check-in was in the early hours of the morning. I did not book this holiday with this early start on complaining I was told it is within their terms and conditions to change the flight times. The first night in the hotel the food was appalling. The rep actually complained and following on for the next six nights there was a buffet but it was very far remove removed from tastes of Puglia. The hotel was not central to anywhere where you could go to eat or drink so you are confined to the hotel. The group agreed that the hotel was probably more suited for conference because there were no areas comfortable areas to relax. There was no form of entertainment. I decided to stay in the hotel for two days because the coach trips were quite lengthy however, I was unable to get any food because the hotel indicated for two meals daily. There was no form of vending machine when I asked about a Taxi I was told there were no Taxis due to the local village being so small overall I didn’t enjoy the experience. I would go back to Puglia, there are some very nice hotels and very beautiful places to visit. Our visits were limited in time which was annoying.

Went on a solos holiday to Corfu for 2 weeks beginning of July.The reps Janet first week and Monica second week were great and made it very enjoyable.The people were great lovely meals great boat trip would recomend it to anyone.

My recent trip Tastes of Umbria was my 4th holiday with Solos. It was very enjoyable despite battling very high temperatures and it was a lovely group of people who socialised and gelled very quickly.

Our tour leader, Scott Jardine, was extremely efficient and professional in managing our daily needs and excursions as well as making everyone feel relaxed with his lighthearted fun and sense of humour. He really made the trip memorable.

I shall look forward to future Solos holidays.

I recently enjoyed the Tastes of Umbria holiday and would thoroughly recommend it.
The itinerary was varied and well paced and the hotel and food were exceptional.
We were lucky to have Scott as our tour leader and he did an excellent job, great communication and always with good humour.
The whole group were great company and I have already booked my next trip with Solos.

Went on the Taste of Umbria tour and it was great! It was my first group tour so I don’t have anything to compare it to but I will say if you’re on the fence go for it. The price was very reasonable for such an amazing experience. The hotel and staff were great. I was there for the food and wine and it didn’t disappoint. Everything else felt like icing on the cake. The group I was with was so much fun! Roberto is the local guide and was super knowledgeable. It is hot in July but manageable with quick dips in the pool to cool down.
Scott Jardine was the tour leader and was organized and communicated clearly (this is high praise coming from me). He would also do anything possible to make sure everyone was comfortable and having a great holiday.

I went on the Tastes of Umbria holiday and it was a great holiday. The itinerary is great, wonderful to see places such as Trevi, Montefalco, Assisi and have experiences such as the opera, wine tasting and olive oil tasting. The hotel is quirky and fun and the food/drink is tasty and plentiful (and I do mean plentiful!). I had a wonderful group of people.

Scott Jardine was an excellent tour leader, full of humour and knowledge. If you had a problem, he sorted it and he was able to offer useful advice as he'd led the same trip the year before. He organised additional excursions to Assisi and Perugia for some of the group and was always available for a quick chat if needed. Would definitely be pleased to be on another tour with Scott as the leader......even if his jokes are terrible 😂

Excellent holiday. The hotel was great, nice rooms, a hearty breakfast and a good choice of food in the buffet evening meal, and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Can Picafort is a lovely town, with plenty of bars and cafes, and it has a beautiful sandy beach.

This was my first solo trip and from the first phone call to book the holiday, to the WhatsApp group set up to meeting the team leader, who was great and put everyone at ease to meeting my fellow travellers the experience was easy and so enjoyable. If you are thinking of doing it. Do it you will not regret it!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I have been on 4 solo holidays now and I have enjoyed them all. Was a bit nervous the first time, but no need, everyone was really friendly and I highly recommend them to you. Enjoy.

Paid around £2000 for 5 days in Venice. Solos rep had never been to Venice before and appears to have done zero research. He asked ME to explain his vaporetto ticket and for ME to send HIM a link to book museum tickets. He organised nothing: No value added at all. The group was very small and got quite tense. Won't be booking with this company again.

I put in an official complaint on 13 July. I've been told it will be up to 28 days for the response. I'll update on here once I get that.

My fist Solo experience exceeded all my expectations, the Safari Adventure was amazing. Everything was taken care of by Gary who was friendly and professional and made sure everyone was happy,nothing was too much trouble for him. I would definitely travel with Solos again

Had a amazing time in Ljubljana and Lake Bled (Slovenia). We crammed a lot into 4 days but wouldn't have missed any of it. Our tour leader and local tour guide were fab. We had a small group (10) which was perfect for a city break. Have already booked my next holiday with Solos!

This was my first trip with Solos. It was perfect. The hotel was clean and fresh. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is located very close to the beach and restaurants.
The company offered a good range of excursions and organised meals in the evening which made it sociable. Our rep, Russell was superb and worked hard to ensure we had a perfect holiday . Thank you.

Always meeting like minded Solos out to enjoy the experience. Solos holidays are always well organised with the options of joining in or not . This is my 4th Solo trip and another planned for September maybe meeting up with some old friends. My recent trip to Tobago and Shepherds Inn was one to remember.

The places visited were lovely.
We were very well supported by Scott. In particular I was impressed with the way he supported one of the group who found it physically too much. He made sure he was included as much as possible, encouraging buggy use at Bamburgh etc
For the rest there was clear guidance of when we should be there and a good rapport with the local guide

My first holiday with Solos was wonderful. Great location, friendly and really helpful staff; a great group of fellow travellers who made the experience very special.
