The Crete Solos exclusive in Heraklion at the Iraklis apartments was very good and the food at these apartments was excellent and 2nd to none. The owners and staff looked after you as one of them. Michelle the tour leader was excellent. Solved any problem that came up. Made the holiday fun and exciting and would not hesitate in going back.

2nd Solo’s holiday and still felt nervous excitement on the day of travel. Appreciate the what’s app group with fellow travellers. The welcome from our tour leader Michelle was so warm and I instantly felt relaxed and that I was in safe hands. Everything is well organised and you can do as much or as little as you like, with the benefit of new friends to enjoy the experience with. Added bonus the food was amazing, now deciding where to go for my 3rd solo holiday so thank you 🙏

Just returned to the USA from my first trip to Greece with Solos. It was also my first time traveling to Europe so I was delightfully surprised by my relatively seamless travel experience. Our guide Christine was fantastic ensuring we all had what we needed during our journey. As a first time traveler to the EU I was a bit apprehensive about the journey and being the only American in our group of 4 travelers. Christine was so helpful in diminishing my fears and my newfound friends were very welcoming. We visited the mainland and did some island hopping. The transfers and ferries were seamless and comfortable. The accommodations were very nice and I enjoyed them all despite a leaking air conditioner in one. I took the optional tours which provided an immersive experience. I would have liked more time in the islands; especially Mykonos and Paros. We got a good taste of them and now I know where I’d like to return. The days were packed with great adventures. Being a small group enabled us to easily travel together. The meals we had outside our hotels were magnificent and provided an immersive experience I’ll never forget. Hotel meals were good as well. Christine took care of all the logistics and we just had to show up at the appointed time. There were opportunities to go off on our own or with other members of our group which allowed for an even more personalized experience. My only problem was with the full day tours that lasted 7-9 hours. It would have been nice to have more time at the island hotels to relax by their beautiful pools. Overall it was an amazing experience and has me looking forward to booking another trip with Solos.

Highly recommend 'Wonders of Ancient Greece and Greek Island Hopping' what a fantastic, marvellous, interesting experience. Greece is steeped in history, culture and mythology, learnt so much.
We were a small group of travellers 4 in total plus our lovely Solo's tour escort Christine, always with a smile, professional and friendly. The tour itself involved a fair amount of travelling, on and off ferries which are so well organised by Solo with Christine our tour escort guiding us all the way. In total we stayed in 5 hotels all in a good location and lived up to their 4 star rating. All our tour guides escorting us to and from the historic sites were knowledgeable and friendly. Whilst we were a small group of travellers, 4 people who had never met before soon became friends.

Location was excellent ,I liked the Hotel . Friendly staff. The group size was to high at 27 making it difficult to get to know each other and the Breakfast could have been a bit more exciting.Apart from that very good holiday.

My first Solos trip. A weeks golf in Almería. Would recommend to anyone who wishes to play golf in a nice relaxed environment with like minded people. No stress just a lot of fun. The tour leader, Selma was terrific. Everything well organised but plenty of free time to get to know everybody. Will certainly travel with Solos again

Tastes of Puglia. This was the first tour operated by solo holidays, as tastes of Puglia. It was disappointing that we had to troubleshoot.The hotel was badly situated. There was a small town nearby but so small that they didn’t operate a Taxi service. The walking to this town was around 15 minutes, not a leisurely stroll. There was very little in the town. It would’ve been much better to have had a hotel in a lively area where you could go out at night rather than be stuck in the hotel with no entertainment and disappointing food. The rep agreed that the hotel food was not good. due to the rubbery look of the scrambled egg, at breakfast I ordered an omelette for which I was charged. There was no facilities for lunch so if you decided not to go on the Tour, there is no food available, other than crisps. Staff however were excellent. The swimming pool was on a lower ground floor accessible by a lot of steps as someone with reduced ability, This was not available to me. Spa only opened on Thursdays at 5 o’clock for two days. It would’ve been far better not to have so much crammed in to the tour and have spent a little bit more time in the really pretty places which were vibrant,overall very disappointing and annoying we have to troubleshoot.

I have just returned from a very enjoyable week in Lefkada with Solos Holidays. Debs was our host and she was fantastic in every way, so approachable and friendly. She organised the group, which was 26, in such a wonderful, easy going and informative way. Nothing was ever too much of a problem…..so big thanks from me

My 5th Solos holiday and my 2nd with TL Debs. Quiet location in Nidri, run by the lovely, helpful and friendly Natalie. Minutes walk from the main street of shops, bars, ice cream shops etc. Walk the side streets to the harbour sea front to find an array of tavernas to enjoy delicious Greek cuisine while looking out onto the marina. The TL Debs was outstanding in her delivery of care to the whole group. She was always available, approachable and worked tirelessly to ensure everyone felt included and had a great time. Debs was very knowledgeable of the area, trips to do and places to eat. In my opinion she is one of the best TLs that Sos has. I would recommend the laid back atmosphere of Nidri.

The holiday was brilliant, which had a lot to do with the Rep Gary, who was absolutely exceptional. Nothing was too big or small, he sorted things out immediately. He attended all the tours, organised all the bookings for the restaurants and didn’t sit down until everyone was seated. Went beyond the call of duty.

Recently returned from a 2 week Solos Exclusive holiday at the Hotel Nereides
Hotel was in a great location within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants and beach. The cleanliness in the hotel was excellent, service great from friendly & welcoming staff and pool area and facilities were of a high standard. Tour Leader Gary Bailey was an excellent host. His outgoing and friendly personality made everyone feel welcome in a professional and supportive way. Gary was also prompt to rectify any problems as and when they occurred . I would highly recommend Gary Bailey as a Tour Leader and Solos Holidays for making it a safe and friendly environment for Solo travellers.

This is my fourth Solos holiday and they are all different. I do like the concept of the Solos only hotels and they are a good idea for first time solo travellers. But all the hotels so far have been excellent.
The tour leaders I have had have all been exceptional. They make the holiday and really do their upmost to keep everyone happy and to keep everything running smoothly.
There are also many different types of holidays from sporting, like tennis or golf or walking holidays to tours and then also relaxing resort breaks. You are sure to find something you like and may be tempted to try other types of holiday.

This was my second Solos trip (first was a week in Sharm el Sheikh in February 2026. Pursuant to the success of that trip I booked for two weeks at Hanioti. Both weeks had great bunch of people. Hotel staff were very friendly . The whole Two weeks was bound together by our excellent Tour Leader, Gary who developed a great rapport with us all Nothing was too much trouble for him and inevitable little hiccups sorted quickly and efficiently.

Just back from Halkidiki 28th may
Had a great week ,was met by Gary Tour leader,and was escorted to our rooms,was a late arrival due to delay at airport .
The hotel was nice large rooms ,cleaned everyday.
Swimming pool was good size with lots of sunbeds.
Second holiday with Solos and will definitely book again,
Gary our Tour leader very professional, nothing to much trouble.

It was my first Solos holiday to Halkidiki and I was a little nervous but I soon realised there was no reason to be.
I arrived late on the 28 th May after a slight delay at the airport and was welcomed at the hotel by Gary our tour guide who made you feel at ease straight away.
I meet everyone at the welcome meeting and Gary was very informative and friendly, there was 24 in our group and it was great getting to know everyone.
The hotel is very well run and clean if there is anything you need you just need to ask they cannot do enough for you and there is lots of room around the pool.
We had three meals included and the food was good, Gary never sat down until everyone had their meal and where happy, he always worked his way down the table to talk to everyone to see how everyone’s day had gone . I went on some great trips, the Caves and the local boat trip which I recommend doing.
With the combination of a great tour guide Gary, 24 guests and amazing staff I can just say go for it I’ve met amazing friends and had the best time ever.

My first Solos experience exceeded all my expectations. I booked the trip then didn't have to worry about a single thing. Everything was taken care of. At the resort our Rep Gary was friendly and professional, he organised the excursions and evenings out for the whole group and made sure everyone was happy. It wouldn't have been as successful without a good Rep like Gary, thanks again.

The resort, company, weather and Tour Leader were great.
From booking the holiday to arriving at the resort, Solos keep you informed throughout, even creating a What’s App group before you go so you can meet up at the airport beforehand. This is really good especially if it’s your first holiday as a Solo traveller.
The accommodation was very good, the staff extremely helpful and the pool side bar is a great place to have a nightcap or two.
Gary the Tour Leader was absolutely brilliant, very helpful and great fun.
I would definitely recommend this holiday to anyone.
I would like to add that l have been on various Solo Holidays and l find them all extremely enjoyable. I know from booking to the actual holiday that all resorts have been researched fully which makes the whole experience easygoing especially for first time solos.

The best thing about my trip to Hanioti was that we had an amazing rep. Gary!
He made sure we were all looked after at all times and could not have done more to make sure that we all enjoyed ourselves. He was truly exceptional.

This was my best Solos trip to date. Mainly due to a great group and the most dedicated solos rep I’ve come across. Gary was knowledgeable, helpful and always with a smile or joke to tell. I look forward to my next trip hopefully with Gary at the helm.

Fabulous itinerary for this trip to Japan… and I felt totally at ease from the first day thanks to our tour guide Scott.
