Unfortunately the great experience was with the assistance service. They were professional and quick in findig a solution (it will take time to arrive but it is in place) but the system (the known probleamatic set up between Solar Edge inverter end the LG batteries) is really a bad solar power system with a lot of problems. Totally unrelaible

Very disappointing experience with SolarEdge and their warranty support.
I originally bought my first two SolarEdge batteries directly from SolarEdge, and they have
been working fine. Each battery was sold with a 10-year warranty.
I later purchased a third SolarEdge battery second-hand. The previous owner had used the
battery for approximately 4 years, meaning there should have been around 6 years remaining
on the original warranty. However, when my electrician came to install it, the battery was
found to be faulty.

I contacted SolarEdge expecting them to at least investigate the fault and assist me with the
remaining warranty. Instead, I was initially met with an AI support system that was no help at
all. When I eventually managed to speak with a support agent, I was told that the matter was
essentially out of their hands.
What made even less sense was that I was told the warranty may have been voided because
the original owner supposedly did not use the battery for four years, which may have caused
it to malfunction. However, the previous owner did use the battery for those four years, so
this explanation does not match the actual history of the battery.
To make matters worse, I was also told that SolarEdge had no spare parts and no
replacement batteries available to repair or replace the faulty unit.
What is the point of advertising a 10-year battery warranty if, when a fault occurs within that
period, customers are passed through AI support and then given reasons why the warranty
apparently cannot be honoured, with no repair, replacement, or practical solution offered?
After buying multiple SolarEdge batteries, I expected much better support from a company of
this size. Extremely disappointing warranty and customer service experience.

SolarEdge is the worst monitoring system I have seen. Until 2024, it was quite good, but now in 2026, if I could change it, I would do it right away. You are no longer the administrator of your installation because "you're not qualified to do it; please contact your reseller." Even they themselves are really not qualified. I asked SolarEdge support for an API key for my installation to be able to monitor it with another system (Home Assistant), but I never got access.
The interface changed to something really not user-friendly, and you cannot set any preferences on it.
If you can, try another installation/system.

Versuche seit 3 Monaten mit dem Kundenservice zu klären warum mein LG RESU 10H nicht mit dermSE4000 richtig kommuniziert. Hatte dazu schon mehrere Fälle geöffnet. Aber entweder werden sie geschlossen oder nicht weiter bearbeitet. Über Whatsapp landet man immer in einem Support Center in Indien. Die helfen einem nur bei ganz einfachen Problemen (Von der Sprachbarriere durch die automatische Übersetzung mal ganz zu schweigen). Ruft man in München an geht nur der Anrufbeantworter dran. Fast unmöglich mit einem Mitarbeitenden zu sprechen, da einen die KI immer abwimmelt.

This is the worst experience I have ever dealt with. Solar Edge refuses to help you as a customer. I would never every buy or deal with them.

Our system went down due to some sort of electrical issue, possibly with their inverter. The initial installer had shut down their business. As the system owner, Solar Edge refused to give us the access and information so we could assess and fix the problem ourselves. Support was rude and would not help.

Our system has been down for over 5 months because Solar Edge refuses to give us access to fix it. We finally figured out we had to bring in another solar electrician, but they were not allowed to get access the system, and the only way they can "register" is by buying a new and completely unnecessary inverter. It's a scam.

If you call, they will not want to talk to you and it will take 30+ minutes of navigating menus with tricks so they can avoid dealing with you. You have to answer questions in a very specific way to get through the various AI agents and speak with a human.

Buy from any other solar company! Next time we upgrade our system, we will be!

Seit 1/2 Jahr (!) bemüht sich unser Installateur, die Wallbox online zu bekommen. Bisher wurde hartnäckig geweigert, das Gerät auszutauschen. Stattdessen ist angeblich zum x-ten Mal ein update aufgespielt worden, ohne Erfolg. Die sogenannte Hotline ist eine Zumutung, ebenso wie die KI-generierten Antworten auf die (schlechten) Kritiken. Als Kunde käme ich nicht auf die Idee, diese Marke zu empfehlen.

De app van Solar Edge functioneert niet meer en daardoor geen inzicht of en hoe mijn panelen functioneren. Inloggen lukt niet en mijn installateur komt ook niet verder. Goed waardeloos want je kan t bedrijf alleen via de installateur benaderen

Door een wijziging van emailadres kwam ik niet meer in de app. Mouna van de helpdesk heeft mij goed en snel geholpen om weer bij mijn gegevens te komen.

На горещата линия са пълни безхаберници. Само "препращат" към по-високо ниво ясни и конкретни въпроси. Крайно съм разочарован от техническия отдел на SolarEdge. Няма как случаи да "отлежават" за разглеждане по месеци наред. Това изцяло повлия на решението ни тотално да приключим с нови инсталации с техника SolarEdge.

Solar Edge ist für Kunden nicht erreichbar. Es gibt nur eine KI - sowohl per Chat als auch telefonisch. Emails werden nicht beantwortet. Eine Herstellergarantie ist somit wertlos. Keine Hilfe, kein Support. Vergesst diese Firma.

HORRIBLE company with low quality products. Paid tens of thousands of dollars for a solar system that is now dead weight on the roof. No customer service to fix it, to talk to, they ONLY use AI crap and nobody to talk to. Once you leave a message, they REFUSE to call back so you are robbed of your hard earned money !!!
