Ordered a Halloween costume with next-day delivery, and it arrived right on time. The costume matched the description perfectly. Smooth and reliable experience—highly recommend!

I ordered my daughter a costume on the 29th and paid for next-day delivery at £7.99. I contacted them on the 31st for an update, and they advised me that they couldn't send out the item due to a high number of orders...when were they going to contact me and tell me this? I am waiting for a refund. I have a distraught 7-year-old girl who wouldn't recommend and definitely will not use again

Delivery was a day later than it should have been which was ok as the company replied to my email and refunded the postage cost and admitted it was a mistake in their warehouse which I completely understand.

Order was packed well and items are great

Be careful of counterfit items!.

I bought a Smiffys costume from TKMaxx, it didn't fit and was to far away to return. I have the receipt. Listed it on Ebay. Ebay removed my item as Smiffys said it was counterfit, reported by Smiffys themselves!.

I ordered an urgent item on a Thursday for next day delivery but I got a message from the courier stating that it would be delivered after the weekend. I called Smiffys and Niels called me back to sort it out. He liased with UPS on my behalf, called with regular updates and said that if it hadn't arrived by 3pm he'd send out another. As it happens it arrived at 2:54 but Niels was amazing. Can't remember the last time I've had such good service anywhere.

Five star company. Great product line and customer service. My rockstar outfit is brilliant and I like the quality.

Ordered an item for next day delivery. Paid the extra, it didn’t arrive in time, they refunded the extra which was good but as it didn’t arrive in time I didn’t need it. Emailed about returning and ignored both times. If you may need to return something then don’t purchase through them. If you aren’t and have plenty of time then order away.

Smiffy's costumes have good quality. They're well-made and perfect for themed parties.

We had an issue with next day delivery but despite it not being Smiffys fault, they have been exceptional in their customer service. I received a prompt reply from them, a refund and a voucher for free delivery if I order from them again. It was hassle free and companies should learn from them.

Having been a loyal customer for over 10 years, I purchased a costume for a birthday party but within an hour it broke. I sent images to the CS team who promptly apologised for the fault, provided a full refund (including delivery) and offered a discount for my next purchase. Cannot fault this company at all. Their quality is usually very good and the CS is second to none. Thank you Niels 👍 you're an asset to your team!

I ordered a Robin hood costume for my son for his Christmas show. Niels, at customer service department, informed me that Royal mail has a strike and the delivery will be late. I really appreciate his help as I had a chance to organise something else for my son. He updated me for every details and send the refund and even gave me a discount coupon for next time. Thank you!

It would be unfair to rate Smiffy’s based on whether or not I liked the costume I ordered (I didn’t!) but this isn’t their fault. I’m pretty tall and the costume was too short for me. So I’m rating them based on their customer service, which was excellent. On returning the costume, I made a silly mistake, which could have left me out of pocket, but Niels went out of their way to help me. I can’t thank them enough. I would use Smiffys again without hesitation.

Appalling customer service from Chelci. Practically arguing with me via email, no apology on the first email until I prompted on my reply, extremely rude and very lacking in any customer service at all. I’d be disgusted if I were the employer and this person was representing my company in this vile manner.
7 days after ordering I haven’t received my parcel and it’s not out for delivery yet either so will be 8 days plus. Of course this is only royal mails fault and absolutely not Smiffys in any way and anything I say is wrong and Chelci is right. Actually gobsmacked at the attitude of the customer service. Strongly recommend you avoid plus these costumes can be found cheaper elsewhere with a much faster dispatch time. Really not worth the hassle or unpleasant experience.

My grandson recieved a firemans suit for his birthday , from a friend who is very ill , i could not bother her about it and let her know it had a small hole at a seam , he still put it on and more of the fabric near the seams started coming away on the bottoms and the top .The hat is fine . He dresses up in something different every day , This is the 1st outfit he has from smiffys .

Outfit come and was very small sizing and poor quality. No returns label included. Cost me £4.45 to send it back to them and when they have processed the return they have not returned the delivery charge or the money it cost to send it back. Disgusting service I emailed and was referred to their terms and conditions. Won't be using them again as not worth it and by the other reviews I am not the only one.
