Was being able to chat to an agent online, got what I needed sorted out. Malgorzata was a great help she got the answers for me very quickly and was very helpful I would recommend using this company they are really good.

Phone customer services. Long delays!!
Trying to speak to customer services a nightmare as get a computer voice that ask loads of questions!! Then you have to wait ages to speak to customer services. Need to have more staff to deal with phone calls! Hence mark down in only three stars.

Simplyhealth have a digital call handling system in place, and it is designed to answer any queries in the first instance but it will recognise if the caller needs or requests to speak to an advisor.
I am very sorry to hear about your experience, however we have seen an increase in telephone contact lately and the length of time we are talking to our customers has also been taking slightly longer. This is in relation to topics such as discussing policy renewals and our customers registering and navigating our online system.
We're actively working to address this increased demand and ensure that we're providing the best support possible to all our customers and I’m very sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused you.

The plan doesn't even cover the 2 check…
The plan doesn't even cover the 2 check up costs. It hasn't increased so you only get £45 per annum. Only 50% for treatment so I don't feel it is now worth it for me.

Awful Customer Service - Hundreds of pounds down
Simplyhealth – utterly disgraceful customer service
I genuinely cannot remember the last time I experienced service this poor from a company I am paying every month.
I currently have around £400 worth of claims outstanding, with some dating back to 21 July. Weeks have now passed, yet Simplyhealth appears to have no urgency whatsoever when it comes to processing claims or communicating with the customers who are waiting for their money.
I eventually had to phone Customer Services to chase them. I was told that a case would be raised and that I would receive an email that same day confirming this. Needless to say, that email never came.
So even after I took the time to chase them myself, Simplyhealth couldn’t manage to do the one thing they explicitly promised to do.
I have now submitted a formal complaint because this has gone well beyond a simple processing delay. It is a complete failure of customer service.
I’m paying a monthly premium for a service that is supposed to reimburse me when I make legitimate claims. Instead, I am left hundreds of pounds out of pocket for weeks, having to repeatedly chase Simplyhealth for information, with absolutely no meaningful explanation or timescale.
What makes this particularly infuriating is the silence. If there is a backlog, say so. If there is a problem with my claims, tell me. If additional information is required, ask for it. Don’t simply sit on claims for weeks and leave the customer completely in the dark.
Simplyhealth has been very efficient at taking my monthly payments. Unfortunately, that efficiency seems to disappear when it’s time to pay the customer.
This experience has completely undermined my confidence in the value of the plan. Why should I continue paying every month for a service that can’t deliver when I actually need it?
If this is the standard of service Simplyhealth is now providing, I will absolutely not be renewing my membership.
£400 outstanding.
Claims dating back weeks.
Repeated chasing required.
A promised follow-up that never happened.
No meaningful explanation.
No clear resolution.
Simplyhealth should be embarrassed by this level of customer service.

Failed this time but saved by a Knight
Normally I have no problems at all with simplyhealth...but this last claim kept getting pushed aside and not addressed. I've had to resort to private treatment as without it I could loose my sight. It has completely wiped out my savings. So anything I can get back is v v important. Its stressful as I am a pensioner on a limited income. Today my Knight in shining armour was Sam Edmunds and he took it on himself to sort the claim. He on his own deserves 5 stars. The others who passed this aside not so much.

Simply health I find is an excellent company to join.
The treatment I receive for eyes, feet, teeth, is paid by direct debit which almost covers for these treatments. I feel safe knowing Simply health is there for me.
