Of the bullion shops that I have visited, SB strikes me as the most professional. They manage their queues well with the online queueing system that gives you an idea of the waiting time. Staff are polite and helpful as well, despite the high demand for bullion. I also appreciate how they let you test for the purity before you leave the shop with your purchases. I will recommend this place.
P.S their “museum” display of coins and bars is quite interesting to look at too!

Second time purchasing from Silver Bullion and opted for self-collection again. My first visit was on 30 June 2025, and my latest visit was on 5 March 2026 during the office lunch hour.

The overall transaction process has been very seamless for me. When placing an order on the website, you are asked to indicate a pickup date, but this seems to function more as a guideline, as collection on a different day is still possible if needed. Upon arrival, I scanned a QR code to join the queue, although staff mentioned it was not required, possibly because it was not a peak period.

During both of my visits, the staff verified my ID and presented the gold for verification in front of me. This was reassuring and gave me confidence in the integrity of the process. The entire collection process was also very efficient. I was in and out within about five minutes.

One small drawback is that due to the current political climate, Silver Bullion has imposed a minimum order amount of $5k. This was a pity as I had intended to purchase a 10g minted gold bar as a gift, which was below the minimum order amount, so I had to purchase it elsewhere. I would have preferred to buy it from them.

That said, this limitation does not detract from my overall experience. I still value the efficiency of the process, the professionalism of the staff, and the reputability of the organisation, and I am happy to give them five stars.
