WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE of ANY company I've purchased from.
Terrible product and the absolute worst customer service EVER. No response, ignored emails initially, then total gaslighting. Long, long boilerplate emails explaining their (VERY POOR) customer service policies, even before I ever ordered I had issues with their "new customer" discount that didn't work!! Spent $200! One item, an expensive cutting board, I purchased was damaged on very first (light) use. A cutting board all cut up because I used a small paring knife to cut a tomato? WTF! I was told that was normal wear and tear, really? More gaslighting! Still waiting for an acknowledgement of their receipt of the "approved" return, and obviously NO REFUND yet. Its been almost a month since the return was received by Australia Post. Nothing!
Worst online purchase experience EVER!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. WORST COMMUNICATION. My return was sent on September 16, its now Oct 12. You've had almost one month and yet NO COMMUNICATION!!

We’d like to clarify that our Wood Fibre Chopping Boards are designed with similar characteristics to traditional wooden chopping boards, so knife marks and surface scratches can occur with normal use. These marks are expected with use and do not affect the board’s durability or functionality.
Regarding your return, we’ve confirmed that your refund was processed back to your original payment method on September 24. We’ll also resend your refund confirmation email so you have this for your records.

Seed and Sprout went out of their way to fix a problem that I had with the cannisters I ordered.
They were replace with no questions asked and it was all done with a willing and friendly attitude.
This company is genuinely trying to do their best to encourage us to eliminate deadly plastics from our home and as we know it is extremely stressful on business at the moment. Please If you have to pay a little bit extra postage it’s because postage is expensive and you want your glass to arrive in one piece. Let us support our Australian Companies and not run away at the first mistake. Give them a chance to fix a problem and they will. They were the best to me.

I was going to buy a lunch box and then…
I was going to buy a lunch box and then noticed how expensive their shipping was to Melbourne. An extra $20 for shipping is expensive. I understand that it’s plastic free but I have received packages from other stores and have never had to pay extra. Disappointing as I really wanted to buy myself a new lunchbox. I’ll have to wait for a sale in the future.

Excellent customer service
I had ordered the set of rectangular glass food containers and found the medium container continually failed to hold its seal. I contacted the company, sent photos, and two new medium containers arrived a few weeks later. The customer service I received was 10/10.

Ridiculous shipping costs
This company provide scandalous shipping fees - $20 for standard shipping (more for express). I was to order a coffee cup and almost 50% of the cost was shipping. For a single coffee cup. And I live in metro Melbourne.
The company make margin on their shipping, although they would tell you otherwise dishonestly.
You won’t find a single company in Aus selling similar small products charging these ridiculous shipping fees.
I will never shop here. Honest Australian companies deserve your business more.

I had an issue where (gently) stacking their glass food containers inside each other seemed to trigger them to crack.
I contacted their Customer Service and was told the following:
"We’ve had a look at your order and can see that the containers were purchased in 2024. Given the length of time they’ve been in use and that the breakage occurred while the containers were being stacked together, we’re unfortunately unable to determine that this was due to a product fault.
Glass can sometimes become weakened over time through everyday use or contact with other glass, even when there isn’t any visible damage beforehand."
I was then offered a measly $25 voucher which doesn't make up for the fact that in my opinion, Australian Consumer Law would likely argue that for the money paid, I should reasonably expect to get more than 2 years out of them for fair wear and tear.
The kick in the gut is that I've spent over 1k with Seed and Sprout and they would've easily kept me as a customer by considering my purchase history and loyalty to the brand and just replacing them as a one-off goodwill.
Will not purchase any more products nor recommend to anyone.

Chopping board purchase
I purchased Seed & Sprout’s chopping boards on 18/08/2026. At first I was really happy with the purchase. The order came quickly, they have a nice presentation and I really liked the boards.
Within 4 uses (if that) one of the boards was scratched in multiple places. The scratches are deep too. I emailed the team when I noticed the scratches on: 01/09/2026 to get an AI automated response that stated ‘ Looking at the image you've attached, the marks on the surface are consistent with normal surface wear from regular use, including the light scratches and streaks that result from food preparation and knife contact. This type of surface marking is expected on chopping boards over time’
It’s really a shame, that you get an AI response and not a direct response. The other two boards seem fine - so I am unsure what happened to this one. If this is ‘normal’ I wish I looked into other brands.

Crap products for huge prices
Crap products for huge prices. Nothing last longer than a few months (dish clothes fall apart, coffee cup breaks at the slightest bump, chopping board falls apart). Will never support again.

Inconsistent items
I ordered 2 sets of the rectangular pantry storage containers for my new house. Delivery took a while but items finally arrived nicely packaged. When I unboxed them I could see that there was variability in the sizes/heights of what should have been identical items. The only reason that I shopped at this site and paid the significant price premium is because I am very particular about my pantry storage. All their ads purport to offer the perfect pantry aesthetic. Unfortunately this has just not been the case. When I raised it with Seed & Sprout they could offer no explanation which basically tells me that they have no idea about their products and probably do no quality control. I won’t be purchasing from them again.

Wow! I just received my second order and decided it was time to sing some praises!
I love these products. I do tend to buy them during sales as they are in the upper cost range but you get what you pay for! All of the products I have purchased and used are high end, well made and incredibly solid. I love that my plastic items are now used for tooling and bits storage and not my food!

Extremely disappointed with the Chopping Boards
Extremely disappointed with both the product and the customer service.
The cutting board became permanently stained after its very first use, despite being used exactly as intended. For a product marketed as high quality, this level of staining after one use is completely unacceptable.
What made the experience even more frustrating was the handling of my complaint. It took nearly two weeks for customer service to reach a conclusion, during which I followed all of their suggested cleaning methods without success. After all that time, I was simply told that the staining was considered "normal use" and not a manufacturing fault.
To add insult to injury, the resolution offered was a $25 store credit. Considering the product failed after its first use and the amount of time spent going back and forth, the offer felt embarrassing and dismissive rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the issue.
While the customer service team was polite, the outcome showed little accountability for a product that clearly did not perform as expected. I purchased from this brand expecting quality and durability, but my experience has left me with a stained product and no meaningful resolution. I would not recommend this product or purchase from this company again.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Our Wood Fibre Boards are made from natural wood fibres, so they can show knife marks with use, similar to traditional wooden boards. However, this should not affect their durability or functionality.
Depending on your benchtop, the non-porous surface designed for hygiene may feel a little more slippery than other boards, but placing a tea towel or paper towel underneath should help keep it stable.

Products not fit to use
I purchased a number of wategos containers which are advertised for pantry storage. Unfortunately they are not fit for purpose and I have found ants and pantry moths inside the containers. I contacted customer support and waited 6 weeks for them to tell me they weren’t going to offer any sort of remedy which is pretty disappointing

As shared by some members of our community, it can help to place dry goods in the freezer for 24–48 hours before transferring them into pantry containers, as this may help eliminate any moth or ant eggs that could be present.

Awesome products (up to my 4th order) and slowly doing my whole kitchen. Chopping boards are so durable and go straight in my dishwasher. Glass containers are fantastic and all the silicone kitchen accessories are really high quality. Great brand and find.

Good products, delivery charge is a rip off
Top quality products, however shipping is extremely high ($20) and you need to spend over $200 for free delivery. When you’ve bought a small compost bin from them and a replacement filter is $13 and you get hit with a $20 delivery charge (which takes 4-6 days to dispatch!) it makes you have buyer regret. A real shame they’ve made purchasing their products so prohibitive, they state plasticless delivery, however other stores manage to do this for much less than $20 and far quicker.

Sceptical of this brand
Purchased the chopping board trio and after a couple of uses the boards started to scratch. The board is also very slippery and feels like you are chopping on glass, quite dangerous! Others have complained about the same issues. I left a review on their website but it has been removed. I’m a bit sceptical of the 5 star reviews that they have. I don’t think they are legitimate reviews.

Our boards are made primarily from wood fibre and are designed to combine the natural characteristics of wood with a lightweight design for everyday kitchen use.
