SCCD Training Arvostelua 

I joined SCCD in last year and completed my level 3 diploma with them regarding Teaching and Learning.
I hope this is a good place for a beginner to start the career as a new bee to the sector.

I faced some challenges with my placement due to issues related to my college, but Mr. Ben was incredibly supportive and provided valuable guidance throughout the process.

I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for my teacher, Ms. Shaaira. She is truly amazing—dedicated, thorough, and committed to ensuring every learner succeeds. She doesn't approve any portfolio unless she is fully satisfied with the quality of work. She went above and beyond by taking extra classes for learners who were struggling with their placement documents and worked tirelessly to help us achieve our certifications.

Overall, the entire SCCD team has been extremely helpful and supportive.

I received valuable professional training for the Level 3 Certificate in Teaching and Learning Support from SCCD. I joined Harris Garrard Primary School for my training, and every day was a wonderful experience. The school’s vice principal, Mrs. Shepherd, and all the primary teachers and support staff are very kind and friendly. I am truly happy to have joined Harris Garrard Primary School for my training and grateful for the SCCD training center.

After going through my knowledge based experiences at SCCD, I was placed at a training centre, offering Further Education for adult learners through the hard work of the placement department at SCCD.

I am so appreciative for all the experiences I got during my teaching practice/ volunteering. I got the opportunity to explore and to learn from the experienced professionals at the training centre, ranging from teaching and learning, the appropriate use of resources including technology, assessments as well as administrative work as the profession demands, monitored and mentored.

I however, felt disappointed because I expected monitoring from SCCD during my workplace experience at the training centre.

I do commend SCCD for building learners up with knowledge into becoming professionals.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to SCCD. It has been an incredible experience working with you all, and I am truly grateful for the chance to be a part of this team. It has been both my pleasure and responsibility to carry out my work with sincerity, and I appreciate the continuous guidance and support I have received.

Throughout my time at SCCD, I have learned a lot and recognized areas where I need to improve. Despite this, I have always been supported and guided, which has helped me grow professionally. However, I would like to mention that the management team should focus on ensuring everything is well-organized and properly structured. I share this feedback based on my experience, as I believe a well-coordinated system benefits everyone. I understand that at times, we need patience and support, but through every challenge, we continue to grow and improve.

Additionally, I had the wonderful opportunity to work at a school where I collaborated with various teachers, students, and colleagues. This experience has been invaluable, and I sincerely thank everyone for giving me this opportunity and supporting me through this journey. Your encouragement during challenging times has meant a lot to me.

Dislikes, well the catch!

After course is completed, they send you a e-certificate! They are suppose to send you a paper certificate. I complained to NCFE whom informed me that the paper certificate should of been sent straight out to me via the postal service as this is included in the cost of the course!
SCCU tried to tell me that I needed to pay £40 to get my certificate and when questioned about this...funny enough, no response! 😅

My experience with SCCD has been truly amazing, and I am incredibly pleased with my placement. During my time at Riverside School, I was fortunate to work with a fantastic team. I would like to especially thank Ania, the Assistant Head Teacher; Mr. Adam Foster, the class teacher and assistant lead; and Marc, the Deputy Head Teacher. Their support was invaluable, and they helped me immensely throughout my placement.

I am thrilled to share that they mentioned getting back to me in September for a teaching position in the next academic year!

Additionally, I want to express my gratitude to SCCD and all the wonderful staff there. Everyone was approachable and supportive. A special thanks to my lecturers Shaira and Paulina, placement coordinator Ben, and Khadisha from reception for their kindness and assistance.

SCCD Training are amazing at what they do, they are friendly,fast and ensure all learners are kept up to date and being supported in their learning. The course is very informative and relevant providing real life experience to enable employment opportunities. Truly is a great company to consider for teaching or teaching assistant routes.

As part of my qualification I had to gain experience inside a classroom. I was Lucky enough to do my placement in a welcoming supportive school. I have gained knowledge and skills in real life situations that I can now apply to my own practice. I am glad Iv had this opportunity to support me along my journey.

Placement officer Ben is really hard working and make every effort to give you best placement experience. I feel best thing about doing training at SCCD is their placement guarantee.
If you move with the pace and meet deadlines definitely u gonna do DET training easily.
Its just that if you miss deadlines it becomes very challenging to stay with the pace.
I like the placement offered to me by SCCD.
My mentor at SV academy is very supportive and I am learning a-lot under his guidance.

I’ve always wanted to be a teacher, and SCCD helped me take the first steps toward my dream. I did my Teaching Assistant and SENCO courses with them and had such a great learning experience. The courses were really helpful, and I’m excited to use what I’ve learned to build a successful career in education. Definitely recommend SCCD to anyone looking to get into teaching.

SCCD Training gave me a comprehensive education to work as a teaching assistant and placed me in a lovely school just as I had hoped for. Because we had been trained so well and the placement was so carefully tailored for me, it went really well and the feedback allowed me to secure employment as a teaching assistant. Specify carefully what you are interested in so the staff can help you the best! I would also like to extend my thanks to my teachers who were extremely knowledgeable and supportive.

I was curious about joing this alternative program to get access to teaching . I went to the interview and it look like the journey would be more complicated than just doing a QTS via Scitt program for example. At no moment during the interview I fell that the diploma achieve at the end would give me a wide range of job opportunities at the end of the course. I felt really pressure into making a quick decision to join in through various commercial techniques promising me discount if I would sign on the spot. Another person came during the interview to sale me the benefits of the program and that definitely turned me off. I went home to think about it and look on line if there was any job offer in education accepting QTLS as a qualification. I would advise people to start from there..... After receive numerous emails to offer me to join before a certain deadline to save on fees and numerous phone calls asking me to reconsider, I politely decline. Olai chose to join Teaching London and had the best year of my life going my QTS. I have personally met people who joined this program and after 2 years thet feel like they have been deceives about the promises they have been made about getting a job with this qualification. Make sure you get all the information you need and if you feel pressure to join a program , you should see the red flags.

I was working as a teaching assistant in schools and nurseries before finding SCCD training course. I really enjoyed working within a school based setting and was looking to study to become a qualified teaching assistant. I found SCCD training via indeed and expressed my interest. SCCD responded quickly and explained how the courses are run and how we can enrol onto the course. I was happy to enrol and start working towards my qualifications.

I really liked how easy it is to communicate with the staff at SCCD training and lots of support and valuable advice given to us to help complete the course. All learners were encouraged to find placements to help us complete our course and SCCD training kindly found me a placement at Indoamerican Refugee and Migrant Organisation (IRMO). I accepted the placement, it is a very good radius from my home address.

Everyone at IRMO is very friendly, welcoming and approachable. I have met some lovely people who are employed here and other volunteers who may assist with CV writing and finding employment. I have been working with the volunteer co-ordinator Marisel and the Class teacher Priya.

Priya and Marisel have both been so supportive and are so approachable.
Priya has helped me to gain confidence to teach adults who need assistance with speaking English. I have never taught adults before and it has been such a positive experience. Priya allows for me to teach the class independently which has helped with my confidence. The adults who I am working with are aware that I am assisting the class to qualify as a teaching assistant and all have been so supportive and I have built positive relationships with the students.

I want to say a massive thank you to SCCD training I really appreciate the time, support and effort being put in to ensure myself and other learners have an opportunity to gain our qualifications and experience. I also want to say thank you to IRMO, this company has boosted my confidence to teach and assist classes. I was able to build a positive relationship with the staff and the learners here. Thank you for allowing volunteers to gain valuable experience and knowledge that will help us all the thrive in the future.
