I had a wonderful experience at Santander International Cafe, and I would like to express my sincere thanks to Bev Q for her exceptional service.
From the moment we met, Bev was welcoming, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Even though my appointment was arranged at the last minute, she took the time to address all of my queries, explain everything clearly, and ensure I had all the information I needed.
What stood out most was that I never felt rushed. Bev listened carefully, answered every question with patience, and made the whole experience straightforward and enjoyable. Her expertise, genuine willingness to help, and friendly approach gave me complete confidence throughout.

Christiaan Theron was very helpful. Santander was not.
Christiaan Theron was very helpful on the phone this morning and it was appreciated.
However the Santander procedure for moving funds from a Santander account in one currency to an account in another is very poor. The default exchange rates are poor. If you phone and ask for a rate from the foreign exchange department you will get a slightly better rate. If you then check with an external currency exchange company.and call back with that rate, suddenly Santander can improve their rate. This seems a deceptive way to treat customers.
If you decide to use the external exchange company and exceed the transfer limit you will need an hour on the phone to go through get the transfer done. And this in the internet age!

My experience has been long winded and…
My experience has been long winded and time consuming to get details for online banking. I have rang several times and several differing days from Australia and progress has been unrealistically slow.
However today Anne was superb and seemed to go out of her way to help expedite access to my funds. It’s yet to happen but I’m hopeful. Thank you Anne.
