I called to discuss which shoes would be best for me this time, (second pair of Lakes Shoes) and the man on the phone, had plenty of time to chat this through with me, he even explained his reasoning which was very helpful, the shoes are competitively priced and arrived very promptly, yet to break them in so this review is for the company only, its a rarity these days finding a knowledgeable and friendly member of staff who has the time to make you feel you are important, cant recommend Salt Dog enough, go here first always!! thank you so much.

First time using Salt Dog Cycling and they were excellent. Great choice of road cycling shoes especially for my wide feet as they stock ‘Lakes’ a brand suited to wider feet.

After completing a fit calculator I ordered a pair of Lake CX242 shoes from the website which had plenty of choice, detailed sizing guidance and reasonable prices. These were dispatched the next day & arrived the day after. Shoe fit was good & I'm now free from foot pain after rides. Would strongly recommend.

I bought some lake shoes, as they are really specific with sizes the shop called me and talked me through the process of baking them in the oven to get the correct fit. 5 star service, even offered to meet me if I was having problems.

Excellent service! I ordered some wide fitting Lake MTB shoes. They were significantly cheaper than on any other site so great value for money. Placed the order but forgot to check when I could expect delivery (had a 4 day ride starting the next Thursday). Sent an email asking if they could accelerate the delivery, adding I would be happy to pay for the delivery. Get an email from Richard (real person!) within minutes saying the order would be issued that day (no additional charge). I received the shoes the next morning! Great shoes, great price and excellent service.

I was after a pair of Lake CX239 and it was difficult to find due to fit and size required.

Salt Dog Cycling came up in the search - I've never shopped with Salt Dog Cycling before but their website was easier to navigate and the shopping experience was smooth and good.
