Worst customer service experience. Please don’t buy from them. Staff I dealt with are useless and don’t read emails properly. Refund messed up. I think they make it so difficult in the hope that you’ll walk away and they can pocket your money!

Saks Fifth Avenue used to be one of the finest clothing stores. What happened to them!?! I ordered 2 items to be delivered to my address. First, Saks uses the worst delivery service ever, VEHO. Between the two of them, they sent my package to a totally wrong address and neither company would do anything about it. Then to make matters worse, after agreeing to credit me for the lost merchandise, which by now is sold out and cannot be replaced, over 3 weeks have passed and they have still not refunded my money to my account. Really low end service!!!

UPDATE: I had to place over 12 phone calls to Saks Fifth Avenue. I believe they were all being answered by people in other countries. They had very pat non-committal responses. The actual response, which was emailed in the middle of the night each time, was always something different. After 11 volleys, they denied my claim. I phoned back, demanded I speak to a manager, and documented each and every email, and call, and delivery photo of the package having been sent to the wrong address. It took 48 days and a lot of time and effort on my part, but I finally received my credit.
Fast forward several weeks and Saks parent company filed for bankruptcy for its Canadian stores. Could USA Saks be next? The Canadian stores' customers complained about the same bad customer service and the denied or super slow refunds.
Just my experience and my opinion.

Does not processed refund even after 30-days. Buyers beware! They will NOT refund you timely. Make you wait for “30 days” because it is the “policy”. Almost 2 months later, still nothing. How is this legal or justified? A big company acts like a huge scam.

The worst customer service with returns. I would never recommend this store. In today's technology how does it take a store over 30 days for a return.

I purchased a dress shirt FINAL SALE from Saks. They sent a tuxedo shirt, not a dress shirt, and then refused a return request when I pointed out that I had received the wrong shirt. The product listing photos clearly showed a model wearing a dress shirt and suit, not a tuxedo shirt.

I eventually opened a credit card dispute and Saks' response was that since I didn't return the item, they would not refund me... keep in mind that they were the ones who refused to allow me to return the item. According to Amex, now they were making an exception. Unfortunately, I had already donated the shirt to Salvation Army and I am now out $100. A note to others, even if an item is final sale, hold on to it!

What a disappointing excuse for a luxury retailer. Go to Nordstrom or Bloomingdale's instead and save yourself the trouble. Search NBC Los Angeles "Saks Fifth Avenue Refunds and Returns" for more about their horrible customer service.

I bought 2 beautiful gowns in different sizes to see which one fits better. Although they are beautiful, they did not fit properly. I returned them both the very next day and they received them the following day. It is now 30 days later and I STILL have not received my refund.
A very unresponsive agent said it that even after the 30 days, it will take another 10 days for the refund to post. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE. I have never seen such a horrible refund policy and I wish I would have looked here to see that ALL the reviews give Saks the lowest rating possible. I will NEVER order anything from them. Find out the company name of the item you want and order directly from the manufacturer. This place is awful.

it was a year ago at this time as was waiting for two dresses I had ordered from Saks to take with me to Peru. They never arrived and Saks blamed the shipper MAERGO and the shipper blamed Saks! It went on and on and on many emails & calls to Saks and at the end of the day I had to pay for two dresses I NEVER received. No one could prove they were delivered!! I was so frustrated and Disappointed with Saks and will never do business with them again after their atrocious lack support for a long- standing customer.

This company is fraud. I ordered an expensive Issey Miyake skirt from their online website. When I received the item, it was an ATM brand skirt with Issey Miyake tag attached to it. And that skirt was obviously worn already. I contacted their customer service immediately to return the item. After a month of waiting, they refused my return and said they sent me the right product. Even though I have the proof and sent these documents to them, but they still deny it. I see online reviews that many customers experienced similar issues as mine. I will never purchase from this store and just wish it goes bankrupt soon to stop robbing money from customers.

I ordered snow boots during a sale in August. I knew they fit because I order the brand and size every few years so I put them in my closet. I go to put them on today as it finally snowed and I realized they sent me two right boots. The first customer service agent I got on the phone was apologetic, said he’d send me a return label, and offered me free expedited shipping to get new boots. About an hour later I get an email that they will not accept the return because it’s outside of 30 days. After that I speak to two managers who refuse to do anything. I’m now out about $140. I will never buy from here again. Worst customer service ever.

I ordered a black wool luxury sweater cardigan and was so excited to receive it. When it arrived it was covered in white dog hair! The neck tag was partially torn off and the item tag with the price etc. was haphazardly attached to the barely attached neck tag. I chatted with Saks customer service and they told me they could not establish a claim about the item condition because their system was down. I attempted a chat again and was told the same excuse (system down). I shipped the item back and no refund for about a month. I disputed the charge on my credit card and was given a full refund immediately. I think my credit card company "knows" this company has issues refunding. I cannot say I will ever buy online or in store again from Saks or any of their affiliates due to the VERY POOR customer service. Beware.

I wish that I would have read the reviews first. I ordered two of the same perfumes totaling $330, they only sent 1/2. I called customer service immediately after receiving the package and was told by customer rep. and manager to wait 3 to 5 business days for an answer through email. It clearly shows on my email stating only 1 item was being shipped, Well they responded with we will not refund you and sorry for the inconvenience. I called back and they have put in another request and I was told to wait 72 hours. But looking at the reviews I see that I will have to go through my bank. WOW disappointed with Saks Fith Avenue! First and last time ordering and dealing with them.

Saks sent a defective item to me and won't waive the return shipping costs.

Their customer service wasted my time asking for a ton of information on me and the order, only to tell me that they can't help me with my original request (which is to waive one of two shipping label fees totaling $20).

Hugely frustrating and subpar online experience for any online retailer, let alone one that considers itself a premium store. They just lost a 20 year customer because of $10.

During Black Friday, Saks online promoted complimentary gifts as part of a beauty purchase. After placing order on 11/29, Saks immediately emailed that the purchased item was shipping but the complimentary gifts were delayed. I contacted them via chatbot on 12/14 and they said they are still checking the status. Saks finally emailed on 12/18 to state that the gifts were cancelled. I made the purchases based on the Black Friday promotion and now it's too late to purchase elsewhere with similar offers. After contacting Saks, they said there is nothing they can do. Meanwhile, their site was offering $50 Saks GC for the same purchases. When I mentioned this on the call, the rep and supervisor both stated that is not an available substitute. This is a bait and switch to get people to buy and they are not taking any accountabilities for not delivering on the promotion. And had Saks provided an update sooner, I could have made my purchases elsewhere with similar promotions but now it's too late. The only option is returning the purchases and there is 1 physical store in NJ which is inconvenient without a car.

I ordered a $500 purse and it said delivered and it wasn’t here. I contacted them twice and they said that once it’s delivered they aren’t responsible.. how can you treat someone’s money like that!!! I will never shop here again.

I ordered two items, a pair of earrings and a necklace, which made it eligible to receive a free $75 gift card. They sent the earrings, but the necklace showed "returned" without any reason or explanation (the item never shipped). Customer service opened a ticket but never solved anything. Instead they told me that the gift card value was 0 since the total order was now below threshold.
Since I never received the item I had to scramble to buy a another necklace elsewhere in time(thank you Amazon Prime!). on top of this I will have to wait more than a month to receive a refund for the item.
They never tried to make this right for me or solve the mystery of the returned item. I hope Amazon will put them out of their misery soon.

I purchased 3 hoodies and only received 2/3. They said they have to investigate to see why I didn't get my full order when it is clear someone did not READ the packing slip. The customer service said they would send a survey for me to give feedback but never did. DO NOT BUY FROM SAKS FITH AVENUE! The customer service is TERRIBLE. NO I am 1 Christmas gift short and was told to just buy another one. WHY ON EARTH would I do that when I never received my full order? I am so disgusted with this store. I will NEVER shop there again!

I ordered a purse and belt totaling $1,417.02 on 10/13/24 and returned them successfully 10/24/24 AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A FULL REFUND! I’ve called customer service 7xs to no avail, called myself escalating to a supervisor, still no recourse. How does such a high end store have such HORRIBLE customer service? It is Christmas time and Saks has almost $1500 of my money tied up for almost 2 months. I’ve reported them to the BBB because these complaints about refunds are way too common. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS RETAILER EVER AGAIN, you shouldn’t support them either!

Customer service doesn’t compare to Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom or Neimans. This store is the bottom of the barrel for me. Price adjustments must be requested in 7 days (in comparison to 30) and shipping isn’t free when you have an account. There’s more, but too much to write. I’ll pass.

I order a creed cologne for men for Christmas hoping they put it in a nice box at least and what a got was a ripped wrap.

I wish I would’ve read these reviews before buying anything from this company! I ordered a dress for my son’s wedding and returned it the next day. I received an email on October 29th saying they were processing my refund. Not sure why it would take them 30 days to process a refund which is ridiculous but I was aware of this. I have had to call customer service twice and still no refund. I will never buy anything from Saks again and will make sure everyone is aware. Buyer beware!
