I had one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had with Saks Fifth Avenue.
My package was delivered empty. The box had clearly been repackaged, and I recorded a video of the entire unboxing, which shows there was no item inside. Despite providing this evidence, Saks refused to resolve the issue and failed to conduct what I believe was a meaningful investigation.
Instead of standing behind their customers, they chose to deny my claim and keep my money for merchandise I never received.
I have repeatedly requested to speak with a supervisor and asked for an immediate refund, but my concerns have not been properly addressed.
This experience has completely destroyed my trust in Saks Fifth Avenue. I will no longer shop with them and cannot recommend that anyone purchase expensive items from their online store if this is how legitimate claims are handled.
I am now pursuing every available avenue to resolve this matter, including consumer protection complaints and other appropriate legal remedies.
If you’ve had a similar experience, I’d be interested to hear how it was resolved.

Saks! Do better. I was on hold for 1 hour and 50 minutes to dispute a charge and change my address. I worked for you as an Assistant Store Manager. I am in shock, please tell me what happened to you!?!

This company had a promotion going on wherein the customer would get gift cards based on money spent. I couldn’t add the promotion. I made my order, contacted customer service while the promotion was still ongoing and asked to get the gift card amount I was entitled to. I said I’d cancel my order and re-order if necessary. Customer service waited until the promotion was ending and then told me they were not honoring their own promotion. This would have been small change to this store, which shows they do not care about customers. I will be shopping elsewhere.

Terrible experience from the very beginning.. they will take your money and it will say “order processing” for over a week.. then it will say “pending shipment” for another week and when you call they are absolutely clueless as to what’s going on, where your package is or the actual status of your purchase. They “escalated” my concern after 2 weeks of not even shipping my item and said I would get an email in 3-5 days with an update.. never received any email whatsoever and after nearly 3 weeks I randomly got an email saying it shipped and by this point the birthday had passed I bought this bracelet for and I bought one somewhere else.. they tried to tell me “you only have 15 minutes after the order is placed to cancel” I said if you don’t cancel this order after all this BS I’ve been dealing with I will dispute these charges on my card and you can keep this recording and take me to court.. I was over it.TERRIBLE experience absolute would never in my life refer my worst enemy to this company it’s a joke.

I am writing to share feedback regarding a recent full-price ($925)Prada purchase. While the item itself was beautiful, it arrived with visible marks on the heel collar and packaging concerns that were disappointing for a luxury purchase at this price point.
What concerned me most was the resolution process. After providing photos and explaining my concerns, the only option presented was to return the item, keep it with no composition or deduction and repurchase it. No replacement to sto option was offered, and there was little acknowledgment of the condition issues I had documented.
Luxury customers expect careful inspection of high-value items before shipment and a more flexible resolution process when concerns arise. I hope Saks will consider reviewing its quality-control procedures and customer service options for situations like this in the future.

Disappointing experience for a luxury brand (Saks)
I recently purchased a pair of Fendi sunglasses from Saks and was excited to receive them — until I opened the box. The packaging arrived damaged, and there was a sticky residue on both the lens and the pouch. Not exactly what you expect from Saks when paying premium prices for a designer product.
When I called Saks customer service for a replacement, I was told they couldn't replace the item — I'd have to return it, wait for the refund to process, and then place a brand new order. This is especially frustrating because I used AMEX credits for the original purchase. I asked if they could simply credit my account so I could reorder immediately, but they refused to do that until the returned item was received and processed. Meanwhile, the discount I used is set to expire this week, so I'll likely lose it through no fault of my own.
To top it off, the representative brushed off my concerns, saying it was "just a damaged box" and that the glasses would "look fine once cleaned." That's not the point — I paid for a new, pristine product, not something that arrives looking used and needs to be wiped down before I can even try it on.
For a retailer that carries high-end designer eyewear, I expected a customer service experience to match. Unfortunately, Saks fell far short . I'd think twice before ordering luxury items from them again.

I ordered a pair of pants from. Saks.Com. I returned the pants by use of their own label two days after receiving. Everything in order. Not worn, receipt and tags in tact. Still 10 days later no refund, no answer from 2 emails to them. I had to file thru PayPal and finally it was done. I worked many years at South Coast Saks an we were advised to hold back returns from time to time and wait until the store had a good day to absorb it. It appears that maybe Saks.com may do the same.i won’t shop there again. Note; the store got better when Chris Bures went to Tiffany’s. She brought down, in my opinion , the store to zero morale.

Is there a lower number of stars possible? Everything wrong. VERY RUDE customer service, nearly impossible to reach. Very unhelpful , LYING CONSTANTLY, DELIVERIES DELAYED, OTHER GAMES AND GIMMICKS.

I would like to thank Marcella Moeller, a Sales Manager at Saks Fifth Avenue in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I had tried to find a dress for my son's upcoming wedding at that shop, but had no success. I did however find 2 that I liked online and purchased both. After 4 weeks I still hadn't received either dress. I contacted customer service twice, but neither representative was able to provide any further information on the location of the dresses. At that point, I went back to the local Saks store and explained the situation to Marcella. Even though the dresses were purchased online, Marcella was eager to help and completely took over. I received one of the dresses 2 days later, and the other 4 days later. She went above and beyond anything I would have expected, and I totally appreciate her help!
Disgraceful and broken business - AVOID. They steal your money.

Good Riddance Saks
Good Riddance Saks. They wouldn't accept a return for exchange for an item that was tarnished, nor did they offer to have it cleaned. No wonder they went belly up.
No one works here
They have a phone number but no one answers. They suggest texting (a major company to get a response?) and their representatives constantly state they are looking into your request and then they end the chat. Not worth it - this is NOT a luxury retail experience.

I have been a Saks customer for over 35 years and I have never had such a bad experience as just happened !
I visited Saks in Bal Harbor, Florida where I have been living for the past 4 years and ordered a shoe that I wanted in my size to be shipped to my address in Florida.
Instead the shoe was shipped to an old address of mine from 5 years ago in NYC!!!
I have tried to speak to someone in charge at Saks but all I got was an operator after another who submitted my claim more than once and it was rejected again and again! I don’t know what they base their decision on but I know no one in the higher decision making is taking care of this issue. Saks refuses to credit me for this shoe that I never received!
I am so disappointed in Saks!
I will never shop there again and I’ll make sure no one I know will ever do either !!!

BIG MISTAKE DO NOT ORDER ONLINE
Made the big mistake of ordering something online which I thought would fit. The item did not fit. They just shut down our local SFA, so I had to send it back. I received a timely email verifying receipt of the item. But, 18 days later, no refund. Now I will have to jump through hoops and waste my time with repeated calls to customer service trying to get my money refunded. NEVER will I buy from SFA again, canceling emails and my charge!

Bought a bunch of clothes with a buyer. 2 of the shirts were ruined after being worn once, the brand was ISAIA and they had zero interest in trying to help. I would avoid the brand and do not trust trh store. Horrible

Other retailers like Bloomingdales offer a 365 day return policy for cardholders. Shame on Saks.
