althought most of the groceries are good quality, be careful when you make orders online. Some of the substitutes are not suitable and although it says you will get a credit, it doesn't say when. Also difficult to get hold of anyone

I have been going to the Hamilton in Scotland for over 20 years and been a very loyal customer. The staff have generally been pretty good, today I have been left humiliated, utterly confused and very angry. I was stopped upon spending £250 at the store today to be confronted by, I can only assume was a 'manager' and another staff member. They said because I had asked for help packing my bags in the past and that this was something they didn't do, I was told i wasn't to come back to the store. He explained I'd apparently made 'disparaging' remarks to some staff members? I asked exactly what i was meant to have said but he said he didn't know but it had 'upset' the staff members in question and they felt victimised!. I feel completely victimised! I know for a fact I have never made disparaging, rude or otherwise remarks to anyone in that store other than say 'Marks & Spencers always offer to help pack when a customer has a large shop'. This must qualify as 'disparaging'. I'm beyond disgusted, sickened and extremely angry. Why are they listening to a couple of aggrieved staff members when I easily spend over £1000 in that store and couldn't tell me why these people are so 'offended'? There is clearly something wrong if certain staff are that easily offended and 'victimised' over that. I have seen customers swear, shout and become quite aggressive yet I've never conducted myself in this manner. Has anyone had this from Sainsburys before? How in sanity can anyone treat a decent person like this? I'll raise this with the Retail Ombudsman and possibly go public with this as I feel seriously and unjustly treated. There is something very wrong here.

Went into my local Sainsbury’s and asked the store manager if their meat/chicken was religiously slaughtered and no labelling to say otherwise! I was told categorically NO! i do not eat meat from animals who have been barbarically slaughtered without full non reversible stun! I took photos of the abattoir codes in the store and when home found out that 3/4 came from halal registered slaughter houses! It’s distrusting and disturbing that store managers have no idea what they are selling! I will never shop there again! I rang the customer services who just gave a flat line answer of all animals are pre-stunned. They would NOT answer my question that I posed 3 times -is this non recoverable stun! Speaks volumes. Boycott and shop with a local butcher!

Three checkouts located as far as possible (within the checkout area) from the doors to the car park.
Only one check out attended.
Three people in front of me and, by the time I reached the checkout the queue had expanded to approx eight persons.
No other check outs opened.
I will not use self service because if I had wanted to work in retail I would not have spent six years studying to be an engineer.
Sainsburys policy would appear to be Nuts To The Paying Customer. They can wait, serve themselves or go elsewhere.
I chose the last.

Five people from the Red Cross were standing in the exit of sainsburys at the Wyvern in Derby. They tried to make me listen as a collective into giving them money for people in other Countries! I told them that our own people need help, people are living in the street. The security guard moved towards me! Am not going there again if sainsburys keep alowing this!

Sainsbury's in blackheath heating hasn't been working for five weeks it's absolutely disgusting in the middle of winter, come on

I have to do my grocery shopping on-line as I'm disabled and unable to get to the shop.
This has been awful. Every week theirs items missing, not in stock or the alternatives are ridiculous. Given up phoning them, customer service very unhelpful.
I think a gesture of goodwill is in order

Just found out staff in a Sainsburys store in Pembrokeshire were required to work a full day to get Christmas Day off! They had to take it as holiday basically. What kind of corporation doesn’t give their hard working staff one day off at Christmas? Loyalty should not be expected from staff or customers if this is the lack of care shown to employees. Shameful.

Are the online shoppers at bridgemead store picking with their eyes closed the dates are shocking. Some fresh items are dated the day after delivery and are not on showing on receipt has shortlife. So by the time I've noticed the bad dates driver has long gone. So yet again it's a call to online call centre (they are no use) all they do is apologise and give you a refund. I am fed up with keep getting shortlife items not showing on my receipt so i asked for a manager from bridgemead store to ring me to expain why i keep getting shortlife items but it is 4 days after delivery and no phone call so I guess they don't care and they are happy to keep refunding for their online shoppers picking mistakes.

Yet again an issue with Sainsburys online. This orders arrival was a contributing factor to me cancelling an online zoom tonight. Wondering where our order had got I go to the door and find a delivery slip. No door bell went, no call to my mobile. Order not delivered...I now need to collect tomorrow! That is VERY INCONVENIENT.

I'm in a wheelchair, and I found that I couldn't reach the scanner properly. They SHOULD have special lower scanners for wheelchair users

Last week I purchased Stamford Street Custard and Jelly pots. I had one on saturday evening the custard had peculiar taste I thought it was me. I have just tried the second pot and the taste was awful it was still the same. I dont know what they have done with custard but they are awful. They had date on them for thr 24th December. Come on sainsburys get your act together and check them out. I purchased them at the Sainsburys store in Eastbourne.

Its a grinch Christmas card for goodness sake ... get a backbone Sainsburys !!! Dont pander to the loudest voice !!

Sainsbury’s Sury Basin in Kingston is (sadly) my regular store. Since a reorganisation it is never great. Today it excelled itself! Not unusually there were few trolleys at the entrance (staff don’t retrieve them from the car park), the store was chaotic with aisles blocked with stock, many checkouts were closed as defective. Self checkouts were understaffed with customers waiting for help creating queues. Having scanned nearly all my shopping I found that the scales did not work! An under pressure staff member tried to help but the result was that I was told I’d have to scan all my shopping again. In fact many other scales were defective. I refused to re scan and demanded a manager. His only recourse was to scan it for me. If they had spent more time managing and less dressing up for Christmas things might have better.

Spatchcock rotissere chicken was a day past the sell by date so should have been removed from the shelf and certainly not picked to fulfil an order. Spring greens were battered with lots of broken and torn bits. Potatoes are often poor quality with rotten centres. When I complained to Customer services the lady I spoke to could not speak English properly so I had to ask her what she was saying repeatedly. Why put someone with such poor English on Customer Services? By contrast the delivery driver was lovely, polite, friendly efficient and helpful.

*BEWARE* CHARLTON RIVERSIDE SE7 STORE. NO GOOD. I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. RACIAL PROFILING IS ABUNDANT THERE SADLY - YES .. AND ALMOST 2026!!

HAD BAG CHECKED **TWICE** UPON LEAVING - AND *NO* APOLOGY. WAS HUGELY EMBARRASSING AS A WOMAN OF COLOUR TO SEE WHITE PEOLPLE SMIRKING THINKING I WAS A THIEF. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS IN ALL MY 50 YEARS ON EARTH. I HAVE STOLEN IN MY LIFE, AND *NEVER INTEND TO EITHER SAINSBURYS.

THE ONES YOU SHOULD BE STALKING - YOU DON’T.

WISE UP!

I like Sainsbury for many reasons.however your customer service standards are going down.I shop in Worksop and prefer to be served.These days there are regularly no tills manned, it's self service or nothing.The standard of your food is not as good as it was.I'm a great cheese fan and the standard is poor.I now wait till I go to Chesterfield and visit M&S.There are regularly few staff about when you need to ask for help.I'm not interested in all the vouchers that appear, I would rather have good service and good quality food.

I’m extremely concerned that Sainsbury’s continues to allow razor blades to be purchased by any age through their self-service checkouts, despite their own website stating that you must be 18 or over to buy them. My 16-year-old daughter was able to buy a razor at the Sutton (Surrey) store and then used it to self-harm.

Sainsbury’s has taken no responsibility, and the issue is still happening — these items can still be bought by under-18s without any age check. Parents should be aware that if their child struggles with self-harm, they can easily obtain these razors from Sainsbury’s, even though the company claims they are age-restricted.

This needs urgent attention to protect vulnerable young people.

If the management of Sainsburys had decided on a path to put shoppers off, they could not have done better. Today at the Wellingborough branch there were queues of people at the only 2 checkouts working, whilst the Self-service checkouts were almost unused. This is before the Christmas rush starts. It will be M & S or Waitrose for me now.

Why can't Sainsbury's fix their stupid online app. I have called three times, been given temp. Password, then told to reset, then locked out for using the change password. Just tried to get in again and it won't do anything. I have a Christmas order booked for click and collect and wanted to amend it but can't get in to the site to even order everyday groceries. What the hell is going on with it? Tesco, Waitrose, Morrisons don't have this trouble so why do you?
