This insurance is a total ripoff they have an excuse for not paying nearly ever claim.
We sid over $800 dollars this year anb we're lucky to have got about 20%of that back in claim reimbursement.

Not covered under general exclusions.
Etc etc.
I suggest looking for a better policy.

Don’t trust them! Waste of your money and time! There will be no gain from them! They look for any excuse in order to reject your claim! I asked them to call the vet as their assessment was wrong but they didn’t accept!

I took out pet insurance at the beginning of the month, they were supposed to take out £50 and have taken out over £600 have phoned to deal with this and was promised a phone back and nobody called . Phoned again and conviently no is available and the teams are all different . DO NOT uSE THIS COMPANY!! They steal from you

After wasting thousands of dollars on this policy, I have just cancelled my pet insurance. I adopted a 7 year old dog a few years ago from an animal shelter and after chasing up my vets repeatedly finally managed to get consultation notes and vet history from the time I adopted her to enable me to make a claim. RSPCA Pet Insurance then asked for vet history from BEFORE I adopted her. I complained and tried to cancel the policy as this was just impossible to provide, and they asked for an opportunity to resolve the issue, looked into it, asked me to provide evidence of date of adoption (which I provided) and said they had everything they needed to process the claim. However, the claims people kept asking for the vet history from before I adopted her - I kept responding telling them the date of adoption and that they had the details of every vet visit she had since I adopted her, they kept coming back asking for it again and again. The people dealing with the claims don't seem to read the file - they kept referring to my female dog as a "he", seemed to think she was a puppy as they then started asking for puppy vaccination records, and kept asking for the same information which I had already provided 5 or 6 times, over and over again. By insisting on information that is impossible to provide - vet history from before I adopted her and puppy vaccination records - they clearly have no intention of ever honouring the policy. They are terrible to deal with and I have to conclude that the policy is just a scam and they will never process a claim. I'm disgusted with the RSPCA for putting their name to a product that rips off pet owners and I won't be donating to them any more.

Terrible coverage, terrible service. We signed up with RSPCA, never received a certificate of insurance. We never used it until our dog ruptured her cruciate ligament. We called up RSPCA and first they told us we weren't with them, then when we called again, they realized we had joined 3 months earlier.
We were sent a cruciate ligament waiver form and our dog had the operation. We got the vet to fill it all out and then had our claim denied. They said the waiver proved she had a preexisting condition - obviously she had an issue, THAT is why we were getting the surgery.

Nothing was clear. Then they said we had to have had the waiver signed prior to her having an issue. How were we meant to have a waiver signed for a condition she never had? The customer service is insufferable. We kept asking questions and they kept reading from a script, not making anything clear. It's impossible. It's like we're speaking two different languages.

Now we are left with a $9000 bill for a surgery and no coverage because of a tiny red tape loophole they created to not pay out on claims. This is our first and last interaction with RSPCA. They do not care about pets. Be warned. You will pay fees and be left with a huge vet bill. My surgeon told me the best coverage is with Woolworths. So save your money and pay a company that will actually protect your dog.

You get an online quote and then they ring you multiple times every day to try and pressure you into signing up.

They are the worst high-pressure sales people you will ever deal with.

DO NOT EVEN GET A QUOTE from these scam artists.

We have just got a rescue cat from the RSPCA and he came with 4 weeks free insurance. They do a follow up to see if you want to continue and after a long but informative call we decided to continue with the cover.
Hopefully we will not need to use it, but in the long run for £14 pm its worth it. There was no pressure to buy.

Great experience speaking to Joshua, he laid everything out for me in a clear understanding way and I'm happy to take out the two policies.

It was slightly frustrating waiting for the delay on the call but in these times patience is what we need.

I rescued my first cat from the RSPCA in January and can honastly say there was alot I didnt know, especially when it came to pet insurance!

There are so many types of pet insurance out there. I wasnt sure what was best and couldn't understand the difference between some. It wasnt until I spoke with Joshua who explained everything that I finally managed to get the best cover for my cat!

Due to the recent Covid-19 crisis many of the employees are working from home. There was a few technical issues throughout the call but Joshua managed this perfectly. The line was cutting in and out, there was a delay and the laptops issued were running behind. That did not stop the excellent customer service I received.

I cannot give a review on the claims side of things as i have not personally had to claim on the insurance yet, hopefully I never do. This review is purely based on the interaction over the phone call. The reason I would not give this a 5* is due to the technical issues. As stated this had nothing to do with Joshua but the equipment given. I could not be happier with the service, plus some of the money goes back into the RSPCA!

I was introduced to Morgan who was extremely helpful and answered all my questions patiently and clearly. Good prices for great policy cover compared to other insurers Plus part of the price is donated to the RSPCA
