The trip was very well organised and the individual guides at various locations were excellent. Our tour guide was patient and cheerful and made clear timetable decisions. The bus driver was excellent and coach travel comfortable. The hotels were mainly good but the evening meals were adequate,
All round we would definitely travel with RSD again.

Yangtze river, pandas and so much more.
The tour guide, accommodation and food were all great.
We had a fabulous time.

Another great holiday with RSD, this time it was a tour of China. The tour was demanding but so worth it. Seeing everything that you would want to see. An interesting country, and so big and busy. Well organised and with a wonderful guide. Good quality hotels and great value for money.

My husband and I went on the China trip and wow what a trip that was. RSD tours and extremely reasonable, the hotels were great, the Yangzte cruise ship was fantastic and our guide, wow. Hue lay was one of the best guides we have ever had, he went above and beyond for everyone and everything.

The RSD Rajahstan trip provides incredible value for money. The 12 night trip includes high quality accommodation and a comprehensive tour of the main sights in the region including the iconic Taj Mahal. The guide was well informed, friendly, caring and hard working. We travelled in a comfortable coach with an excellent driver and helper. I highly recommend this trip.

Ok, we were advised that mobility issues were a factor and difficult to cater for on this particular tour, but the demands of the tour were challenging to even the fittest. The first morning of the tour should have alerted us to this. We arrivede at the airport and had to walk nearly a mile to the coach. Arrivinng at the hotel at 09.30am after 23 hours of travel we were told that the rooms were not available until 14.30. We had to sit in reception and twiddle our thumbs with no offer of refreshment.
The first day of the tour was similarly difficult. Jane and I chose not to walk around the forest and waited for the party to return. We dined in the hotel that night and this was the best meal of the tour (if you can call it that).
The meal out on the second night was in a lovely hotel; but we were placed in what could only be described as a canteen. It was certainly not your met! The walk back to the coach in the rain challenged the fittest again.
Now we come to the nitty gritty. After a long tiring day we were dumped on the pavement and walked and walked to a rather sleazy looking shopping mall. We eventually found the restaurant (not particularly inviting) and had to remove our shoes! This proved impossible for Jane and we had to crawl onto benches and seated as if we were having school dinners. The food when it came was of a very poor standard and furthermore there wasn't enough to go around. Without exaggerating, it barley filled a hollow tooth. The gourment experience should be re-named the pig swill experience it was that awful. Surely at the veryu best you could reimberse that cost; plus the cost of the dinners we never had!
The boat ride, albeit in a lovely scenic area was so brief, we barely had time to sit down. We then hung around for 1.5 hours - not realising we could have gone on a chair lift. Returning to the awful meal we had to walk for at least 30 mins to rejoin the coach (in the rain). RSD travel providing an exceptional service is a joke! The thought of using you in the future, well hell would have to freeze over!!!
I now have 2 questions, are you members of ATOL - if not why not? Ans, how many letters of complaint have you had regarding the awful food? Everyday out was a challenge and strictly regimented. There was no allowance for lack of mobility. Luckily fellow travellers werre very kind and helped us instead.
The morning after the shopping mall meal, Jane was unable to stand un assisted and had to have the use of a wheelchair at breakfast and to return to our room. This convinced us to return home early from what should have been a trip of a lifetime as we feared for our own health.

Our tour guide gave us so much insight about life in Japan, as we travelled in the luxury coach, as well as giving us informative tours round all the sights we visited, often despite poor weather. Mount Fuji obligingly cleared for photos after we descended from the viewpoint by Hakone 'Ropeway' cablecar which only took us up into clouds.
We ate in different restaurants each night, sampling true Japanese dining, before returning to our hotel for a relaxing bathe in a traditional 'onsen'. The only night we ate in our hotel, we were given traditional costume to wear, so never had a chance to 'dress for dinner' in our own clothes.
I sampled sake and matcha in Kyoto along with other specialist local products, with plenty of opportunity for purchasing from street market and shops. I made good use of the few Japanese phrases which I learned before the trip and from our guide's daily useful words.

An amazing trip to the cultural heart of Japan.
All travel arrangements were well communicated & all details of the tour helped us to prepare.
When in Japan we were blessed to have Hannah support us in all we needed & her expert knowledge of the country enhanced our experiences.
Hotels were of high quality & the itinerary was excellent.
Would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Just arrived home 4 days ago from a RSD tour of Scandinavian.... What an absolute fantastic tour it was. The check in process was frustrating though at Manchester, as it would not read my passport so had to queue up and had to check in manually.... We weren't sat together either which I found very odd as were a married couple. Other than this the tour was amazing . Our Guide met us off the plane. Doro was an absolutely fabulous Guide. She was extremely friendly, polite and funny with her funny hats on every day. Her knowledge was exceptional and she kept us informed throughout the trip. The driver was Rafael and they worked very well together. We covered 2300 miles from Stockholm, through Finland, Lapland to the North Cape then back to Stockholm... it certainly was an extensive tour, but Doro made sure we had lots of stops for toilet breaks and food.We would love to do another tour with them, and definitely will do another with RSD. An absolute credit to any company they work for. Highly recommended

Our trip to China was amazing. The tour guide went over and above his expected duties to help us and keep us informed. The hotels were brilliant, better than expected and nice food. Trips were absolutely amazing and as expected there is a lot of walking involved. Would highly recommend this trip …..a great adventure.

Had a wonderful time on the China Cultural Tour. This was an exceptionally well-organised trip, taking in the key sights of Shanghai, Xian and Beijing. The guide was incredibly helpful and had time for everyone; the food was splendid; and it was great to have a holiday where everything went smoothly - no hiccups. Very much recommended - and what a bargain price!

The trip organised by RSD Travel was a well organised and enjoyable experience. The guide had a good understanding of the country and spoke good English.
The hotels and food were also delightful.
The second week in the hotel was excellent with trips if needed.

We went to China on a fully guided tour. All went well at the airports. Our guide was informative, patient and had a good sense of humour.
We saw lots of fabulous places and also our guide had a few additional trips you could go on. My favourite was the visit to the Great Wall of China and my partner was blown away with the terracotta warriors. We saw so much that we would not have visited had we tried to do this trip alone.
All hotels and the river boat were spotless and we enjoyed great food too.
A trip of a lifetime.

I have a trip booked with RSD to Dubai in November and have paid a deposit.Because of the uncertainty in th which raises at area my wife did not want to travel there.I called RSD and asked if I could switch to another trip.The rep told me that I could but only to certain larger trips and that we could transfer the deposit. I called back to arrange this a month later and was told that it was not possible and I had to cancel the Dubai trip and lose my deposit.The company renaiged on a decision that I was initially given which raises an issue of trust with this company.

This trip to Istanbul and the Aegean was my fifth trip as a solo female travelling with RSD and I cannot rate them highly enough. I find them to be excellent value for money. Every trip that I have been on has been so well orchestrated and the guides have been exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. Deniz, the guide on this trip was amazing and so very kind, it was privilege to spend time with him. He was so informative and is so obviously proud of his country, it's history and culture.

Just came back from Portugal, it was a great tour and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The food, rooms, attractions and transport were all fantastic and I would recommend to anyone. The trip was value for money and I'm looking forward to my next journey!

I went on the norwegian fjords trip.
1. There was no rep at the airport to supervise transfer. One couple was left behind.
2. We had paid for the best upgrade cabin with twin beds. We got a cabin with a double bed that occupied all the available space.
3. My letter of complaint has not merited a reply.
4. I feel at the very least we should have had a refund for the upgrade.

I will not travel with this company again.

Easy to book the holiday either online or by phone, with very helpful and friendly booking staff. The holiday went smoothly throughout, Aegean airlines were a revelation - on time, super friendly staff and food and drink provided free of charge! Excellent guide and driver, fantastic places to see and visit but with leisure time also built in to the programme so you never felt overtired or rushed. Hotels were of a good and acceptable standard, especially the second week where the hotel gave us a free upgrade from a standard room to an executive sea view room, which was wonderful. Would thoroughly recommend this trip and such good value for money.

This was my 2nd holiday with RSD in 3 years with friends. This one on Apr 14-28th this year was to Rhodes/Turkey/& back to Rhodes for the last week. I thoroughly enjoyed all the changes going to different locations and hotels. Our last hotel in Turkey was my favourite.
The 2nd week we went back to Rhodes. The hotel was a little isolated and the beach had intensive hurricane damage so we all stayed by our hotels nice pool and bar with a wonderful and friendly waiter.
Some of us went out on bus trips to Lindos and Old Town Rhodes which was very enjoyable at our own leisure. Our visit to these places the 1st week was time limiting as we had full day to day schedules. We had a lovely, fun, cultural tour guide on 1st week who was called Rosie.  She was amazingly knowledgeable about all the places and made them really interesting and fun. She also shared with us on the coach journeys about each place and more before we arrived. And also whilst we were at the sites.
Rosie was very helpful and made our holiday well worth it. She joined us at mealtimes, spending time with different tables each evening. So special. Im not sure if other tour guides did this. We were very lucky to have such a lovely tour guide. Best coach as we all got on and had fun and learnt a lot. This is my fave part of these tours...making new friends and relating to one another. We keep in touch when we are back in our homes.
We had a beautiful white coach and nice driver, who was very friendly and smiley.
The holiday is great value for money. I really enjoyed the food in both countries. Hotel staff were very helpful and cheerful, as was our tour guide Rosie.

The worst holiday ever. They lied, lied and lied. Refused to let me take a mobility scooter, then charge me to rent a wheel chair. Hotels were horrendous, wine was served in cheap plastic mugs, they had no one to wash the glasses! 1 star facilities and service, not 4 star. Paper cups in bedroom, china cups not allowed, filthy showers, cracked glass on the balcony. Both miles away from destinations, it was a walking trip with coach rides and there was nothing luxury about it. Most of the excursions we paid for were free to get in. The guides spoke Italian with a very heavy accent and the radio's did not work so you learnt nothing. No choice in meals, went vegetarian as the meat was so dodgy. They were best described as "school dinners ". Flights were totally unnecessary dog legs Heathrow to Rome via Frankfurt and Zurich. On arrival got left for over an our waiting for another flight. Trip to Pompei, the guide was over an hour late and then the party had to go in via the back (cheaper) entrance. I was told it was not suitable for me to walk so missed the entire thing. I am taking it up with the company as they broke the Equality Act 2010. Every other person on the trip said they were, at the very least, seriously unhappy.
