AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Do not use, our assumption is that they are bankrupt and using customer monies to pay off debts. Items took nearly 5 months to arrive, then wrong and they never reply to emails. Still waiting for items. AVOID AVOID.

UPDATE NOV 2024 - Bank issued refund and are pursuing Room to Grow for fraud.

Reported to trading standards, action fraud and police. But as yet website remains online.

Citizens advice steps:

Write to TcFc Retail Ltd. The Old Chapel House, Riseley Road. Bedford. Stating breach of contract and make sure it is recorded delivery.

Contact Action Fraud and register your issue by calling 0300 123 2040.

Contact your bank/card provider and dispute the transaction with them ASAP.

Please follow the steps above so we can get the site taken down.

Do not order from this company absolutely scam company placed order in may for my daughters birthday still not got it had to cancel in August and still no refund it’s now October this company needs shutting down !!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible company. Like other reviews did not deliver product so chasing via bank. How are they still allowed to take orders, clearly a scam!

Awfully run company. Delivery time for a bed was stated as 6-10 weeks. Still didn't get the bed after 15 weeks. Email communication was poor and both phone numbers on their website are fake. Got our bank to start the process to return our money, only then did they email us cancelling our order. Very dodgy company, don't use them.

Ordered a children's wardrobe in July, have not heard anything about a delivery which should be now.
Emailed them several times over the past week and no response
Terrible or none existent customer service
Doubt if we will ever see the goods or our money, so will have to go through the credit card company to try and get our money back

It’s a scam- don’t use them.
You won’t get the product or the refund!
Go through your bank to get your money back.
Any good reviews on here are fake.

If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Ordered a mattress. Told delivery time was 3-6 weeks. Emailed for an update and just told 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks I cancelled the order and requested a full refund. 27 days later and still no refund!!!

Keep being told “we’ll chase it up”. I doubt that somehow.

This is an absolutely awful company. I am still waiting on a refund from 2 months, they don't answer any phone calls and only reply to an email now and then stating they will contact accounts. Getting a refund due to waiting 12 weeks for a bed delivery and when asking the company for a due date they couldn't tell me. On my account it states that I have been refunded but I have never received any money.

Ordered a bed in May on a 6-8 week delivery time, chased it in August and was told that it was being made that week and someone would contact us to arrange delivery. Now in September they are not responding to emails and their phones go unanswered...with an error message saying their mailbox is full! They were quick to take our money but now we will have to report them via our credit card provider to seek recompense - AVOID

The company took my money for a bed in April this year, the bed still hasn't arrived. I've chased numerous times and they keep blaming the factory. I've given up but now I can't get anyone to answer the phone or respond to my email to get the order cancelled and refunded. I'll likely have to raise it with my credit card company. I'd avoid this company. We used them in 2020 but something is seriously wrong with them this year.

I ordered a bed over 10 weeks ago which was supposed to arrive mid to end July… they initially replied on email saying mid Aug and now don’t reply at all despite multiple emails.

I assume they have taken our money and don’t plan on delivering by lack of response or updates. My daughter was turning 3 and really needed a bed. Looks like we’ll have to claim via credit card company.

Do not give this ‘company’ your money. We had been waiting since May for a bed, they said they have backlog in the warehouse, delays in production blah blah blah! Asked for a refund which was promised but never arrived. Had to claim money back through the bank. Their phone line is never answered. TCFC retail Ltd should not be trading.

Do not buy from this company. I ordered a product that they never had in stock and have been chasing a refund ever since. The customer service has been shocking and I would not use this company for any purchases especially of high value.

If I could give zero stars I would. As with others, money was taken but nothing ever arrived. Communication was poor and customer service non existent. I’ve had to raise a case with my bank just to get our money back. Shocking company! Avoid at all costs. Spoke to Stompa directly and they have been fabulous! Go straight to stompa!!

If I could give this company less than 1 star, I absolutely would. They clearly cannot deliver what they promise and lie to their customers.
I ordered a bed for my son in April, with an estimated 6-8 week delivery time. After 8 weeks I contacted them for an update and was told there was a 'backlog in the warehouse causing a slight delay with delivery times'. I chased a further 4 times, with either the same or no response. I then asked to cancel my order, which was done very promptly, however, they failed to answer my questions about when I could expect to receive the refund. They then ignored all further requests for a refund, even getting a solicitor involved did nothing. I eventually got my money back via my bank. I wish I had read all of these reviews before I ordered, this is an absolutely appalling company, taking people's money with no intention of delivering what has been promised.

I placed an order with room to grow and after a while of not hearing much I did start to panic. I wrote an email with a prompt reply of unfortunate delay but after the 12 week mark I did suspect something may be wrong here and reading these reviews I did panic, I did ask either for furniture to be delivered or a full refund. Never the less the items did finally arrive! I think they should probably change the 6-10 week period on the website as ours was delivered at 14weeks but it did arrive! It did have an almost new cut wood/freshly painted smell so I do believe there was a backup on orders. We ordered the cabin bed and it’s lovely! Definitely worth the wait!

No bed- no refund. Ordered a beautiful looking bed for our little boys bedroom. Unfortunately 17 week on we have not received the bedz we were told the bed was not in stock but would arrive soon. Having given up on the bed ever coming into stock, for the last two weeks have been requesting a refund but to no avail. They have simply stopped answering any emails to their support address and have never answered the phone when we’ve tried to actually speak to someone. The customer support has been awful and we just want a refund so we can order the same bed which is now available through another company and could be shipped immediately. The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. We just want our money back as per the terms of the contract

We cancelled our order with Room to Grow on 12th July and unfortunately we are still waiting for our refund.

We decided to cancel as in the end we wanted to find a bed that could be with us earlier.

Really disappointing to be waiting this long, especially considering the amount of money we are due back.

Be very cautious if choosing to order from Room to Grow, previous comments do not provide much confidence in this company. I can’t comment on their delivery record but seems like a lot of people are having to request their money back through their credit card company, something we will have to try to do as well.

I ordered a bed frame, mattress and fitted sheets from them. The listing for the bed frame said 2-3 weeks delivery. 3 weeks later, I was contacted by their delivery partner, Jade Home. They booked a delivery and then did not show up without even telling me. I followed up multiple times with both Room to Grow and Jade Home - neither answer their phone and it takes them days to respond to emails. One week later, Jade Home finally booked another delivery slot with me, and then a few hours later, cancelled it! After further emails and attempts to contact them, Jade Home booked a delivery slot for the 3rd time and managed to deliver the bed frame this time. However, I am still waiting for the mattress and the fitted sheets and Room to Grow has not responded to my emails in the past 5 days! My son is arriving next week, and he won't have a bed to sleep on! Do not order from them, they completely unprofessional and simply cause stress and inconvenience!
