I was looking to place an order for a bed on this website noticing that it was cheaper here than on the main manufacturers website. Knowing that beds are something most people are very particular about I wanted to check the returns policy in case the bed was uncomfortable.
I came on here to warn others that they should also read the returns policy on the website which is well hidden. Right down at the bottom of the terms and conditions for online sales page which stipulates rather unfairly in my opinion that they will TAKE 25% of the value of your item with a minimum of £149 if you decide to return it for any reason! Even more unreasonably it states that if you have visited our showroom and viewed the item before placing your order (we were thinking of doing this) this completely invalidates your ability to send it back! Even if you do change your mind! This seems illegal to me as I know that all consumers have the right to return any goods within 14 days of purchasing regardless of whether they purchased it in store or online or ever clapped eyes on it!

I purchased a Hainault Double Mattress last August. This is made by Highgrove Beds.
Apparently Roomes Furniture Store do not stock this range any longer. No surprise there. I have endured painful sleeps since sleeping on this mattress. I tried negotiating with store immediately. They were unhelpful and rather curt, not forthcoming whatsoever. Very disappointed customer.

Roomes have been the most helpful and wonderful company to buy from. Their two stores in Upminster are lovely places, full of the most helpful staff with excellent quality items. We were able to look at so many sofas, sit on them, find the most comfortable and best for our needs, with their experts on hand to guide us. Having bought an expensive sofa online from another company during lockdown without being able to try beforehand, we realised how important going to an actual shop was and we were so happy with the service at Roomes for these sofas. Roomes then helped us rectify an error we made with our order and we are so grateful for their help. Thank you to Paul Webster and the team for their exceptional service. A shop like Roomes is a rare find in our online world.

Wow..went to Roomes Furniture Store on Saturday looking for a new dining table....what a wonderful Furniture Store...something for all tastes. While I was there there was a new Furniture range launch event.

It was amazing.....there were drinks cupcakes and a lunch box and a free tote bag. I had a really lovely time as the event organisers were really lovely. I sat at a table and they brought me a glass of prosecco and a cupcake and a lunch box of crackers and cheese....they hold several events during the year and I have signed up to their newsletter to find out when they will be....there's one at Christmas so will definitely go to that one.

The staff were lovely and spent a lot of time chatting to me....no sales pitch at all...just lovely to get the community together....well done Roomes Furniture and thank you for brightening my Saturday.

We were looking for a sofa and spoke to Tony the salesperson . I have to say how amazing he was. Nothing was too much trouble. We gave him so many different things that we wanted, and so many things we wasn't sure about. He sorted everything out for us. I don't believe you could get a better service anywhere. We very nearly chose the wrong colour but with his help and the colour books they had in store we came away with exact suite and colour that we wanted.
Me and my wife are so happy.
