have ignored me completely, bought a used approve car with worn out brakes. They were a advisory 2 MOTs ago and were never replaced so they by passed the worn brakes with a bad MOT to avoid replacing pads and discs

My wife was complaining about the car braking system making noises and not working as good as our previous car, so I had a local garage go over it. They told me the front and rear brakes were well worn and needed changing immediately. i have got the car 2 months and have covered 700 miles and i have paid out £350 to make the car road worthy

Traveled all the way from leicester to look at one of the yaris without looking pictures has not been uploaded yet as toyota is the name of trust.When arrived Craig greet, guide us through and a great man.Did test drive and car was fine when start checking the car we found rust and rust bubbles were spreading up on rear driver side wheel arch reaching to the panel also the passenger side wing mirror base has be hanged by a screw (directly screwed in and visible) and tape ? Is this the toyota standards at Ron Brooks toyota ? We showed Craig the problem which he completely understands but their directors don’t want to understand and compromised on the standards.we asked Craig to request director to address the issues and we are happy to buy the car but directors don’t want to listen at all.We even requested to do a smart job on rust at least and leave the wing mirror (we can buy or get it from scrapped yard) but the director has only no.We even ask to to knock of a bit off so we can get it done from outside but no.We have requested so many times as we really liked the car and we want to take as we were not time waster but Craig did tried his best but directors don’t want to sell the car.I think Toyota standard is not down its the franchise people who are putting toyota’s standards down.

Ron Brooks, Mansfield. The wife is after either a Toyota Corolla or a Toyota C-HR - undecided. We thought we’d pop into Ron Brooks at Oak Tree Lane to see both, in the flesh. Shouldn’t have bothered but you don’t know until you try. Too many cars taking up valuable sales space - awaiting prep. 3 times more than there was for sale. Those for sale were scattered amongst awaiting prep cars and most needed a vacuum at that, even with prices in the windows. Not a good advert for Toyota and definitely won’t be buying from there - give me a car supermarket any day 😳

Quick and professional service delivered for my 2nd purchase of a used car ! 10 out of 10 rating for them. Especially if you're not expert in cars and you want to find a reliable and good price car for commute, getting ronbrooks is definitely the right choice.

Also much appreciate for Steve's help and I've got the car remotely from auto trader even they are located in 150 miles away from me and I've got the car view with the video and I've made up my mind to do the purchase and the car is delivered to my home within the next 2 days !

I had my Toyota serviced at Ron Brooks Ilkeston in September 2023. I was told the service technician diagnosed the air conditioning had a leak and I was not to use it because the compressor could fail and it would not be under warranty. I was given the impression it would be fixed in the next service in September 2024. I went 10 months without air conditioning. I took the car back to the service department in July 2024 and was initially told by a snooty lady from service that the cost would be over £900! I said "err, no it is under warranty" She then came back with a different figure to cover the initial investigation of the fault, but not the repair of the fault itself. I said I would take it to Vertu Toyota Chesterfield, as I live in Chesterfield. She said, "well it will cost you more". I did get it booked in at Vertu Chesterfield who charged a reasonable £144 including VAT. Their investigation was very thorough and they could find no fault with the air conditioning! Thank you Ron Brooks of Ilkeston for causing me to a) Go 10 months without air conditioning and b) Pay £144 for an investigation that was not needed. I was so impressed by Vertu Toyota Chesterfield and their honesty that I decided to trade in my old car for a newer model for £13,500 - lost business to Ron Brooks Ilkeston

Totally outraged, my parents have just been to test drive a car and get a quote to partx there car, full service history etc etc and the sales man only offered them £200 for the yaris.
They didn't take the offer up and went to a different Toyota dealership and the partx there car for £2500.
The differant dealership looked over the original quote from "Ronbrooks" and was very shocked as clearly trying to rip an old couple off with all the added extras they where trying to charge for with the new car also.

Having had dire experiences with another manufacturer I decided to go back to Toyota. The car was delivered (not from Ron Brooks) and I had problems setting up the app. I called in at Ilkeston and James had it sorted for me in a few minutes. He was really helpful and polite. A great ambassador for Toyota and Ron Brooks. Glad I am back with them.

I have just purchased a Volvo from Ron Brooks at Mansfield also trading in my old Audi. I must say compared to many other dealers it was a good experience. I was given a fair trade in and everything went very smoothly. I was given help and direction in all areas. Steve the salesman was not pushy but very helpful, I would recommend this business.

Do not buy a used car from this dealership!
I recently purchased a used car and kept having electric faults, it started with the fuel sensor so I had 3 months warranty and took it back to them to be fixed and all that they did was reset the battery and didn’t even have a proper look at what was causing the issue. 1 month later my warranty ran out and I had the same issue with the fuel sensor come back aswell as the speedometer dropping to 0mph when I got above 20mph.. my car then would not start up and I had to get it towed to Volkswagen and within 20 minutes of checking my car they found that a mileage blocker had been fitted to my car behind the dashboard and this was the reason for all the electric faults. Volkswagen then told me that the car I had bought hadn’t done 33,000 miles (which is what my dashboard was saying) it had actually done over 60,000 miles when they checked the memory of the car. I got in touch with Ron Brooks Suzuki Mansfield and they told me they’d done their relevant checks and there is nothing they can do about it to help me as I had now lost £5,000+ now that I had found out the car I had bought had actually done over 30,000 miles more than they sold the car for.. absolutely shocking!!

I had the most wonderful Customer service experience at Ron Brooks Mansfield. I was looked after by Mark Hicklin, he wasn't pushy and explained everything in detail. The day I picked up my car, Mark made it so special with the 'reveal' that I was choked up with emotion.
Mark has kept me informed since the day I ordered my car and I must say it has been a pleasure. We've had a laugh when I've been in to the showroom and Mark has been a true professional. I will definitely be recommending Ron Brooks Toyota to everyone I know. The best experience I've ever had buying a new car. Thanks so much!!

I bought a used Nissan Qashqai from Ron Brooks Mansfield and it was an absolute pleasure. Mark is such a lovely salesman, he made the process so easy, answered all our questions and even sorted out an interior light issue. We have just taken delivery of our Toyota Yaris hybrid from Ron brooks Ilkeston.It is so refreshing to see that old fashioned standards within a modern environment really does matter.The staff could not do enough for us,and both my wife and I were made to feel comfortable and important.A massive shout out to Neil who is such a caring person and obviously has very high standards when it comes to customer satisfaction,in fact everyone who we had any contact with was superb.This is the first time we have used this company and rest assured we will trust them to look after our car.10/10,well done 👍👍👍

Purchased a cracking Toyota Aygo from Ron Brooks Mansfield in Nov 23.

Car was excellent, just what we were after and in pristine condition.

Sales service was excellent, extremely professional, courteous and without any issues or pressure.

Recommend you ask for Steve Williams if you are going there to purchase.......very good.

Recently bought a car from Ron Brooks Mansfield.
Sorry to say, customer service needs big improvement.
Incorrect information/forms received via email, relating to previous owner.
On collection of vehicle, several things not done as agreed during purchase process, despite my calling before traveling to confirm all was ready as it should be .
Delay in advising DVLA of new ownership, resulting in several phonecalls to get my private plate assigned.
No after sale call as promised.
Emails now ignored when chasing an item that should have been in the vehicle upon collection.
In summary, very sloppy service, very disappointing and classic case of once they have your money they don't care

I think before writing a review about a company, you must wait until you taste the product and if it is worth 5 stars. Unfortunately, in August 2023, I gave a 5-star review to this dealer, without knowing what would happen after. To start, the car has some errors that have cost me more than £1000 so far. They sold me a £16000 used car faulty with issues that the warranty doesn't cover or at least that is what they said. They made me pay for a Service plan of £30 every month that doesn't cover the services, but according to the documents, in theory, this service plan covers, (is not this a joke? ). It has been less than one year since I bought this car that is under warranty but somehow doesn't apply to my car. My car has the two services that are supposed to be covered by the service plan and still, they made me pay £330 for "labor". Maybe You think: "Is this true?" yes is true. Do they want to refund the money or take responsibility? Of course not. Anything to get money from the customer, they will sell you unexistent plans, or insurances to avoid risks, the gap time be careful!!!. they play with your fear and your ignorance until you will be entangled in a massive debt with Ronbrooks Mansfield. Remember RonBrooks Mansfield is just a name for fancy car brands but that doesn't mean quality or professionalism. They are professional of the trickery.
