Great experience
I have purchased multiple new cars from various brands over the years but I have no hesitation in saying that Ron Brooks Omoda team in Derby were a cut above. My husband and I were initially greeted by sales consultant Nick who made the entire process seamless and were made to feel super special. Manager Dave was again fantastic and explained everything thoroughly regarding finance options and like he said - you cannot beat 0%! Handover was perfect car spotless and have to say what a car! Older people and car servicing
Ron Brooks Mansfield needs to be more thoughtful about its older customers (60 and older) as many of the "baby boomer" generation now suffer from arthritis. My Toyota Rav 4 passed its MOT, but the certificate was stapled to lots of promotional material about Ron Brooks (BIN MATERIAL) and my invoice and then stapled 4 times in the middle of all the paperwork. The service manager even had the bare-faced cheek to plead for a perfect 10 score, with a in a review when he had been so utterly thoughtless. I have given him 6, as the service was not up to standard as Ron Brooks clearly do not think about their older customers. By the way the service on the car was good and I had an unexpected but very much appreciated valet of the car. However, the younger generation also needs to think about the frailties of we silver surfers!
Easy part ex but lack of aftersales
I dealt with John the salesman who was easy going not pushy at all who gave me a fair price for my part exchange and went through the add ons I could purchase if wanted with no hard sell tactics 👍the day of exchange was smooth and easy and I was soon on my way. Unfortunately the car I purchased had a faulty switch so I could not scroll through the dash options 🙃 I phoned Ron Brooks to tell them about the issue and was told someone would get back to me I gave it a couple of days and phoned again the receptionist told me she had passed the message on I said well no one has contacted me and stated having purchased the car 2 weeks ago I would like it putting right! I still have not had a response 😕 unfortunately you do not know how good a dealership is until your hour of need.
Think twice before you choose where you purchase your next car from , it will not be Ron Brooks for me.
I have now got the repair done elsewhere.

I decided to change my car and decided on a Toyota. Ron Brooks Mansfield was our nearest dealer and had a car I liked the look of. On picking up the car we realised that the person we saw initially was no longer there and had not shared any information with the staff left to hand over my car to me. I have to give full credit to Shannon and manager Mark who had to pick this up and sort it out in terms of what was included etc. I did have an issue with my dash cams and service manager Jay has been excellent and sorted that out as well. So apart from the initial communication issue which was out of the control of the current team, the customer service has been excellent. Lovely showroom environment, clean facilites and the coffee is good as well. We have moved out of area now but if not, I would certainly go back for my next car.

I recently visited Ron Brooks Toyota to get my Toyota C-HR serviced and for its MOT. I traveled all the way from Coventry because the local Toyota dealership couldn’t offer me an MOT appointment on short notice, while Ron Brooks was able to accommodate me promptly.
From the moment I arrived, the service was excellent. My service advisor, Adam, was extremely helpful and kept me informed throughout the process. The team delivered my car after the service within the promised timeframe, which I really appreciated.
The entire experience was smooth and efficient, and the extra effort they made to fit me in on short notice didn’t go unnoticed. I would definitely recommend Ron Brooks Toyota for their professionalism, reliable service and customer care. It was well worth the trip!

Amazing experience at Derby branch
This review relates to Ron Brooks Derby. John Lord and everybody we came across when we visited the showroom were fantastic. Very welcoming, no sales pressure and I was given time to think about my purchase. They helped me purchase the best car to suit my needs and not just sell me a car. The after sales service has been top notch too. I would have no hesitation in recommending anybody to the Derby branch.
Ron Brooks more like robbing crooks
Ron Brooks more like robbing crooks! Had several issues with this place, do not recommend this to anyone they sell unsafe and dangerous cars.
4 reasons why i wouldn't bother with them.
1. Lack of Communication and Poor Service
I made several attempts to facilitate the sale after confirming my interest in the vehicle. Despite being promised a payment link, I had to chase Chris on three separate occasions, only receiving the link the day before delivery, which turned out to only allow bank transfers, even though I was told I could make a card payment.
2.Incorrect and Inaccurate Documentation
When I finally received the paperwork, it contained glaring errors:
My name was spelt incorrectly, despite previous communication via email.
My email address was incorrect, even though it was used for earlier correspondence.
The forms had conflicting information regarding the terms of sale, particularly the return policy (7 days vs. 14 days), and the information contradicted what was told to me by the sales agent.
Discrepancies in Terms and Conditions
The distance selling form was in direct contrast with what your sales advisor communicated to me, particularly concerning the return of the vehicle if there were any issues. The sales advisor assured me that I could return the car without cost if there were problems, yet the terms and conditions state otherwise. This inconsistency is unacceptable and misleading.
3.Unacceptable Condition of the Delivered Vehicle
Upon receiving the car, I was shocked by its condition:
No dust caps on 3 of the 4 wheels.
Low battery in the key
chipped windscreen
A large scratch on the side and the bumper.
Multiple blemishes on the door handle, mirror, and boot.
Chips on the windscreen.
Dirty old car mats
Door trim fabric loose
Most alarmingly, the front tires were below the legal limit, making the car unsafe to drive. This is a serious safety violation, especially considering the car was delivered from 137 miles away.
When I contacted your dealership to report these issues, Chris Jackson confirmed that the scratches were not inspected and claimed the tires were checked and safe. However, the vehicle's MOT history clearly indicated that the tires would need replacing soon and the car had been driven over 2,000 miles since that MOT. This blatant disregard for safety is extremely concerning.
4.Poor Follow-Up and Refund Process
After requesting the car be collected immediately, I had to repeatedly chase your team to arrange the collection. Even after the car was collected, I had to make numerous follow-up calls to initiate the refund process. I was assured by the manager Kevin the refund had taken place even though it hadn't. They lie about refunds, I was told they contacted my bank as my bank whom declined the refund, I work in finance and basic GDPR validates this is a lie and untrue, you can't speak to my bank about my account, my bank validated there was an issue on the sending side.
You didn't even have the decency to apologise which is the biggest shocking thing. I will not respond to your generic request to send an email, like you have on other bad reviews. I emailed suzuki about my experience with you. If you did want to apologise you have all my information and you can contact me.

GREAT SERVICE
ave used this garage for the first time today for a service and warranty as it is convenient to my work compared to where I travel from.
From entering the showroom, to the booking in and collection the service has been brill. The dealership is bright and vibrant like most dealerships, but extra marks for the super shiny and brill floors (attention to detail and credit to whoever does the cleaning here).
Amy looked after me on this occasion taking details and sorting a courtesy car out quickly. I was contacted when my vehicle was ready and although my vehicle needs to go back, Amy was very apologetic and ensure was booked in for follow up works.
There was no hard sell at any point on extra services ect just simple straight great service. This is a refreshing change.
Given its the first time I've used here I'm very impressed by all services and been that impressed I will probably end up having my other Toyota serviced here when due, even though not local to where I live.

Brought a car from Ron Brooks Mansfield. Never again. They're not really interested, they're more interested in getting good reviews. So much for having a car vehicle check before you pick it up, obviously don't do a good job as our car has had to have new brake discs and pads already, which is not good. We had a guy service our car and he said your brakes are not good for the age of the car. Not impressed and will not reccomend anyone to you.
