After a slightly shaky start I’m left feeling very happy in my interaction and experience with this company.
Our initial order was slow to be dispatched and I got in touch. I would like to think this was unusual based on other reviews.
I was dealt with in a friendly, apologetic and professional way. I would be happy to order from this company again.

Ordered a scooter online on Sunday evening, was delivered to Fife on Tuesday lunchtime. Called on Monday to add to my order, and Barry was very helpful, and recommended what I needed,( which was sent out same day) and I got a small refund to the delivery price.
Very happy with Ripped Knees and will defo use them again for any future upgrades, helmets, scooters etc.

Amazing service, the scooter arrived very quickly and the quality and design is superb. The Size guide was a little tricky ( from the brand not the retailer) so do bear that in mind and make sure you measure your child as when the scooter arrived it seemed much smaller and we really needed to size up. Overall Ripped Knees are fantastic and their comms and customer service has been excellent!

Failed to be delivered within the 2-5 business days stated. (Ordered 23rd, delivery by 30th)
Got in touch with Ripped Knees (repeated phone calls before answer), guy who answered was apologetic, stated there had been a problem, but that it would be dispatched that day, and delivered next day (1 May 26).
Label was printed (30 Apr 26), and DPD notified me that it had been printed that day, however item was not made available for collection, and over a week later I am still awaiting it's dispatch.
I have made repeated emails, contacted them via 'Live Chat' (its not live, its a bot that takes your order number and provdes the details you already have - there is no response to any messages left in the bot app)
I have now been calling them repeatedly for over 90 minutes, call rings out to answerphone, which states "phone line open Mon-Fri 0930-1400, or send email/live chat and the team will get back ASAP" but no responses received.

My wee boy has missed his birthday present, and had to cancel an Adrenaline Alley visit due to this sub-standard service.

About to get in touch with credit card and reverse transaction. Will not use this company again, and would definitely not recommend it for any form of remote/online sales.

In response to your factually incorrect reply below:

1. You have not replied to any emails as yet.

2. This is the first contact I have had with you since last Thursday, and I suspect as the result of commencement of a Chargeback, this negative review, or my extremely disappointed voicemail message after two hours of continual attempts to speak to you.
3. You could have updated your voicemail message to mention the closure, instead of leaving customers hanging.
4. I have just triple checked my email. Nothing in inbox or junk since your notification of creating a label on 30 Apr.
5. DPD have verified that they have still not been advised to collect the item.
6. My bank has also noted that you have not responded to the request for the chargeback.

Again I would re-iterate that the customer service is appalling, communication incredibly poor and delivery non-existent.

FINAL RESPONSE TO FACTUAL INACCURACIES IN YOUR RESPONSE:
I have evidence that Revolut have attempted to contact you with no response.

No notification of refund, by either voice, message or email, and no indication in banking app either.

First email received from Ripped Knees since 30 Apr 26 was Fri 8 May at 2:42 confirming they had begun the refund process.

Bitterly disappointed

Placed an order for skates for my daughter’s birthday. Money has left my account, can’t get hold of anyone on the phone (voicemail only) and no one answers the online messages. I’m contacting my bank to see if they can issue me a refund. It’s her birthday in 2 days!! Not acceptable at all.

Barry the owner of ripped knees was incredibly helpful and friendly when we came into the store. He helped us decide on the best type of scooter for our son and he absolutely loves it! Will definately be shopping here again for anything scooter related! Great scooters and fair pricing. Thank you

Purchased a Christmas gift, it was returned for an exchange of size only. Owner had to be chased for resolution, to then find out a smaller size was not available. It is now 3 months down the line and still waiting for the refund that was supposedly offered in January. Shocking company to deal with.
