I had an excellent customer experience with John, who is the Edinburgh branch manager.It was immediately apparent, from a few minutes on the phone, that he was courteous knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic. It’s no wonder that Richer Sounds has established and maintained the great reputation that it has, with people like this steering the ship. He sourced the TV that I wanted from Cardiff (I live in Stirling) and gave me a super deal including delivery. I was also given an insight into the Edinburgh store remodelling, which I look forward to seeing as it’s a few years since I last visited.

Can't fault Richer Sounds! Absolutely fantastic value and range of products. The compact record player (Philips The Stevie) I bought was delivered earlier than expected. I was kept up-to-date with order and delivery info, got £10 off for signing up, and the player itself is really high quality sound. It took five minutes to set up and can be used with vinyl and bluetooth. Richer Sounds has been a household name since my childhood and it still is 40 years later! Highly recommend.

I haven't had a separates HiFi system in over twenty years but the team at Edinburgh Richer Sounds were really helpful in steering me to the right setup for home. I really appreciated that they were not pushing for a hard sell or trying to push me to spend more than my budget. I've got a system that I'm delighted with (that Argon TT4 turntable is *chefs kiss* !) and will serve me for many years to come.

Their customer service on the phone and in person was genuinely excellent and I'd be more than happy to shop with them again.

It was easy to place my order over the phone with the the branch. The product arrived very quickly and I was able to collect it at a time that suited me. I mentioned I was considering buying speakers in the nearish future and had a good chat with the staff member who served me but there was no hint of being pressured into making another purchase, only some very useful advice,

My Denon M40DAB which i purchased back in November 2016 from the Edinburgh store gave up the ghost after 9 years so i decided to buy the DM41DAB to replace it.I called the Edinburgh store and spoke to Bowie who i managed to negotiate a deal with and complete the purchase.I arranged to have the unit delivered and it arrived the following day so all in all great service from Bowie and Richer Sounds.

I had a great shopping experience last week. Very friendly staff plus they had exactly what I was looking for!
While on-line shopping can at times be useful. When shopping for things that matter like hi-fi or in this case looking for a smart speaker you can’t beat the human dimension of actually interacting with someone who understands the products. I’ve shopped at Richer Sounds for hi-fi gear since the 1980s and have never been disappointed and always had good service and got great deals on what I’ve bought.

I would have prefered a demonstartion of the product I bought in the shop before I left.

First class service from Richersounds Edinburgh, speedy delivery to store for my instore pickup, this year I have bought a pair of AMAZING Fyne Audio Speakers that make my livingroom sound like a concert room, plus I bought a dedicated SONOS ARC ULTRA soundbar and SONOS ACE HEADPHONES, just for my surroundsound movie experience.
