When I enquired about availability, delivery, and warranty of a TCL 43 P7L tv the store manager said he would call me back with all the details, and he did !!
This was contrary to the experience I had with other suppliers of the same product.
It was a no brainer so I bought my tv from Richer Sounds in Bath.

First class service staff very helpful.
Needed a wired set of headphones

+ could bring back item within 15days if it wasn’t what worked for me.

Excellent service from Tom and Fred at Richer Sounds in Bath. I had problems with a recently purchased DVD player and they ordered and tested a replacement, ready for collection, all within 48hrs,

A brilliant experience from start to finish. There Bath store had stock of the particular TV that we needed. The store manager, Tom, was super-helpful and also honoured the Richer Sounds price-beating guarantee. We drove away with our TV the same day. I can’t praise highly enough Tom and the Bath branch of Richer Sounds.

Fred and George came to my rescue with an ethernet cable that I needed to connect to my router and fix it. The customer service they gave was absolutely impeccable and I was able to fix my issue.

I recently approached Richer Sounds in Bath looking for advice on putting together a new hi-fi system with a budget of around £1,000.

From my very first enquiry, Tom was excellent. Rather than simply trying to sell me what I’d initially asked for, he took the time to understand how I actually listen to music and recommended concentrating my budget on a quality amplifier and speakers, leaving the turntable as a future addition.

He arranged a demonstration, gave me the opportunity to listen to different options and, most importantly, there was absolutely no pressure to buy. It felt like getting advice from someone who genuinely enjoys hi-fi and wanted me to leave with the right system.

I eventually chose the Marantz PM7000N with Acoustic Energy AE100² speakers, and having now spent some time listening to them at home, they’re delivering exactly what they promised in the demonstration. I’m absolutely delighted with the system.

Tom even followed up after delivery to make sure everything had arrived safely and to see how I was getting on with it — a small gesture perhaps, but one that says a great deal about the level of customer service.

Knowledgeable, patient, friendly and genuinely interested in getting things right for the customer. First-class service from beginning to end.

Five stars from me, and Richer Sounds Bath will absolutely be my first port of call when it’s time to add to the system.

My son and I visited the store after doing a bit of online research. Although our choices of HiFi separates we’re not in stock in the store, Tom gave us some great expert advice and steered us towards a decision. After 40 minutes, we left having ordered the new equipment. We are very happy with the experience we had. Tom is a star.

Smashing service from Richer Sounds Bath. In particular, I would like to highlight the great customer service provided by George throughout the process, which ranged from prompt email communications, to setting up the demo room at short notice to allow me to listen to a range of systems prior to finalising my decision. I've used RS since the early 90s, and it's good to see their staff continuing to ensure customer needs are met. Excellent experience.

We came in for a planned purchase of the Wiim Ultra, and at my wife's suggestion, also decided to get a Wiim Sound Lite for another room. The sales assistant, Hayden, handled things helpfully and professionally, and was very personable, not pushy. The whole experience was fine, the only stress being spending a fair sum of money! That said, the price was good, Hayden was helpful, and the service was great, however neither item was available from stock, and Hayden helpfully arranged next-day courier service, which also worked well.

Fantastic service before, during and after. No question unanswered and staff always ready to help.

So i like talking to a sales person about a potential purchase.They are able to point out the important points in this case of a new TV. This went well however in the past there was someone to help with installation. TVs have become much more complicated and setting it up at home would have been a real plus for visiting the store. The customer isn't struggling trying to understand how to put it together and get the most out of the purchase!
I was disappointed in the communication between the store and the delivery company. If I hadn't called they would have delivered to the wrong address ( my old address) which had according to the store been removed from your records and the new address used ( the TV still had my old postcode on the box when delivered). Your system needs reviewing with more information provided on delivery and how it works, with a delivery window highlighted. This didn't happen for me and not knowing to the night before on a delivery slot doesn't make it easier. Surely it should be possible to give an am or pm time when first arranging delivery!
Overall i was disappointed, I drove over an hour to Bath to get first hand information on an expensive purchase. The subsequent toing and froing trying to secure delivery wasn't good initially from the store and the carrier , then just the carrier.

Is it right that the Cambridge CD player only works from the remote control ? Shouldn’t the buttons on it work as well ? (Jon Bennett 07745307683).
I was very pleased with the general approach and expertise at Richer Sounds and I am enjoying listening to my collection again.
