My car died a couple of weeks ago and I was advised to contact this company to sell it on for scrapping. They were fantastic, the gave me a fair price for the vehicle, arranged a suitable date for collection and because I’d had to leave the car where it had broken down said that the guy collecting would contact me at least an hour beforehand so that I could get there. On the day I got a text message from Lukas asking for confirmation of the collection point and roughly how far away he was. He was kind enough to keep me updated as to when he would be close so I could get there to meet him. He was there when I arrived and the paperwork to the collection of my old car was done in less than five minutes. Payment was in my account the following day with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Fantastic service and such a simple and easy process for what I thought would be hard. Would definitely use again if needed.

The driver contacted me in the morning and then again 30 mins before pick up, was super helpful when picking up my car. Second time using redcorn and I have no complaints. Driver Matt H was fantastic and very helpful. Will always recommend redcorn to scrap your motor

Matt was very helpful, he explained everything to me and told me we’re to park my car. He helped with paperwork and was very polite.

Absolute shambles of a company. Having dealt with redcorn years back between 5&10 cars a week they began being unreliable, vehicles not being collected etc. Fast forward to now - booked a vehicle in over the weekend to be collected and was meant to go on Tuesday, Tuesday came and went and their excuse was mechanical issue with the lorry that was collecting, Rebooked for Thursday… waited around until 5pm for collection, low and behold 4.50 comes… sorry we’re unable to collect due to a mechanical issue… we can collect on bank holiday Monday.. I said that’s no good and the same excuse as previously, they agreed to collect today… here I am at 7pm on a Friday evening still waiting because suprise suprise they’ve not arrived, yet driver was supposedly not long left the yard at 4.15 to head down to me… Not like we have families waiting at home eh…

How do you expect to do business like this? Not a care in the world about wasting everyone’s time.

I can only assume this company is collapsing as they have also failed to collect my vehicle today, like others I had taken the day off work to make sure I was in all day for their ridiculously vague 7am - 5pm collection time. Got to 5pm and they aren't responding to me about collections. I've used them previously and they were completely professional and on time, so something must have gone badly wrong for them. Avoid them now!

We had a wait and drop delivered on time. Excellent service from booking to delivery. Lovely lady who took the booking but a big shout out to Zooy the driver, he was a star! Thank you. Would highly recommend

I have used Redcorn before and they were excellent, hence why I had no hesitation on using them again. How wrong could I be!!!

Emailed video footage and photos of exact location and state of the vehicle. It was in a ditch, but had clear access from the road for collection purposes. They gave me a scrap price of £183. Was told that upon reviewing they would be able to retrieve it with a standard vehicle. They also advised that if they got there and it needed a more specialised vehicle, they would call back to take £100 payment to proceed that way, and there would be no scrap payment made. I was also happy with this option. I just need the car moving asap.

Arranged for the car to be collected (contactless) on Wednesday 12th. No show, no call to say they weren’t able to collect. Rearranged for Friday 14th. No show, no call…. Rearranged for Wednesday 19th. No show, no call…customer services told me they had staff shortages because of lots of foreign drivers and it being school holidays, but it would happen the next day. Rearranged for Thursday 20th. Call from customer services to say the driver had been, it was not possible to collect and they had cancelled the job. I asked if they could use their specialised vehicle and the customer services guy said it was not at all possible for them to retrieve it. A very helpful lady attempted to resolve this, I resent the photos/video by email, but still the same answer…it was impossible for them to retrieve it, even though they said it was after reviewing originally. This is not her fault, she genuinely tried to help and sympathised with the ongoing issues. I don’t believe that there was any attempt to collect the car that day.

Fast forward to today Tuesday 25th. Arranged for a local company to collect. Explained the condition, location etc. Met them at the site, at specified time. They arrived in a VW Touareg, pulling a flat bed single trailer with a winch. The car was simply attached to a cable, pulled out of the ditch and loaded onto the trailer within 25 minutes. Clearly Redcorn have either got huge operational issues or they are not capable of revovering vehicles in ditches.

Would NEVER use them again or recommend anyone. Such a waste of my time and energy for terrible customer service.

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE – AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!I booked a collection to have my car scrapped, received full confirmation, and was forced to sit around waiting during a ridiculous 7am to 5pm window.By 4pm, having wasted my entire day patiently waiting, I called their useless customer services. The agent flat-out lied to my face that the collection was "still on," and promised they would call if there was any issue.Surprise, surprise—nobody turned up, and nobody called.To make matters worse, they couldn't even be bothered to follow up with a phone call after letting me down . The sheer lack of communication is insulting. Not that I would ever use this pathetic company now anyway. The customer service department is a complete joke. They are either hiring totally incompetent staff who need basic training, or they are employing people who genuinely do not give a damn about their customers.I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole unless you actively enjoy having your time wasted and being lied to. Done the same to me Kevin. Absolutely hopeless. I had even booked another company in which I cancelled as they assured me they would collect. Atrocious. YOu either want it or yuo don't. Not hard is it!

Delivery and collection.
I searched around for skips and came across this company and thought they looked good and the cost was reasonable. So ordered a 4 yard skip to be delivered to my house for a bathroom refurbishment.
1st issue was it got delivered a day late due to the driver unable to get across London due to traffic. ( no additional cost)
2nd Issue: date of collection was meant to have been 27th Jul. Came home the skip was still on the drive. 2 days later the skip was still on the drive. Sent an email informing them that it was still on the drive. No response, so I then called them to be told the lorry had broken down and they were trying to get this resolved. I contacted them again to be told the same reason but also told this had been escalated to the managers and someone would get back to me.
I contacted them on 14th Aug, to be informed that they were sorting the issue and apologised for the delay and management was aware and would be in touch. No contact has been made.
Contacted them again on 17th Aug to be given the same answer, but also told to send an email which would be seen by the managers.
I have not heard anything from anyone if this skip is going to be collected. I sent another email telling them i want the skip collected by 21st Aug. I've had no response as to whether this is going to happen.
I wouldn't mind if someone actually acknowledged and kept me updated as to how this skip is going to be removed from my drive and what I can't believe is that they only have one vehicle to collect skips across London. I have work being undertaken in my house and I was going to use them for a second skip no way in hell would I use them again.
Its also delaying my workmen because a skip is required on the drive.
You need to do better.

AVOID; make appointments they don't keep. They don't communicate at all. Booked in for a Monday; they only give 7 am to 5 pm. No Show; chased why the next day oh, we are sorry, can rebook but will be following Monday. Not heard, so called at 1 pm; yes sir, we will be colleting, called agin 3 pm; left a voicemail with dispatch; they will get back within 20min. 4.30 pm I called again, sorry we can't collect today. Would you like to rebook for next week? Almost said yes, just to waste their time.

All went well for me. On-time arrival, lots of communication, a good rate for my vehicle, and friendly service.

Simple booking procedure pleasant staff to talk to on the phone but refuse to come and collect skip when requested tried multiple times to arrange pickup via verbal phone calls and email. Every time no show multiple excuses still waiting for skip to be collected even have emails to say that the skip would be collected on Saturday the 8th of August. Waited in all day for a no show. Original collection date was the 10th of August again waited in all day no show. Still waiting now 12th of August again email confirmation and verbal phone call conversation.

Would not recommend this company if you're on a schedule if you have all the time in the world to have your skip collected and go ahead.

I hired a skip and asked for it to be picked up no one turned up. I spent two days calling the office to check when the skip can be collected.

They charge if you have the skip a few more days but when they leave it on your drive do not offer any refunds.

I would not use this skip service again.

NEVER CAME, NEVER CALLED! AND LIED THAT ARE STILL COMING WHEN I CALLED At 4.45pm AFTER WAITING THE WHOLE DAY! collection meant to happen between 7am.and 5 pm , no special slot time. I have waited, no one showed up and no one called, so I called them at 4.45pm , man on thw phone said that there is no problem and they are coming but later. THEY NEVER CAME! NEVER CALLED! IT IS UTTER WASTE OF TIME TO BOOK THEM!

Unbelievably unprofessional and unresponsive. Booked a collection for Tuesday on Monday morning. Kept calling for updates on Tuesday and was told they would come anytime between 7am and 5pm. Even at 4:30pm they told me they were still coming. Finally after another call at 4:50pm, they confirm they can't come and will come on Thursday (today). Low and behold it was the same thing again, chased all day and being told they will be enroute soon to then be told at 5pm, they are not coming and to call tomorrow. Never seen a company more unresponsive or disinterested in doing business.

Was ment to turn up on Thursday between 7 =5 didn't turn up !!! Told have to wait till Tuesday !! car dissapeared called police registered car as stolen! Wish id gone with a more reliable company as this seems common with them

Accepted a quote for a Ford Fiesta diesel yesterday, it was arranged for the car to be picked up today.
They didn`t turn up, a day wasted. I rang about 4pm, got passed through to an answerphone for the dispatcher. They never called back,
They couldn`t be bothered to phone and say they were not coming, was invited to a drink up late afternoon and waited in for these clowns not to appear.
Thanks for not bothering.
