It’s a pleasure to review Raft Furniture. I had bedroom furniture from them about 8 years ago which I still love and still looks amazing. I have just taken delivery of the Hudson nest of tables and am delighted with it. It’s so well made and has timeless but contemporary design that suits any setting. If anything it’s even better than shown on the website. Thank you Raft.

We received exceptional service from Store Manager Tony who was extremely knowledgable, and patiently helped guide us through the decision making process to buy a new sofa. He understood straight away the look and feel we wanted to achieve and made everything simple. We also valued the video call service to ensure the sofa could be delivered without a hitch. Tony was always accessible and very responsive to any questions we had after ordering. The delivery service was excellent. The sofa is of fantastic quality and craftsmanship. We bought a Tamara dinning table from Raft. Yesterday it was delivered and it is stunning. Quality is top notch. Same goes for the delivery itself.

I ordered a chair that I had previously following water leak damage. I made the order over the phone after using the online chat facility. Easy to do and the item was delivered much earlier than I anticipated. My questions during the process were answered promptly and I was reassured at all stages.

We bought our first Raft sofa with Amin’s help and genuinely couldn’t be happier.

From the moment we walked into the shop, we weren’t really sure what we wanted or even how to go about choosing a sofa. Amin was incredibly welcoming, with a great personality and fantastic advice. If he hadn’t approached us and made us feel so at ease and excited about the process, I’m not even sure we would have walked away with a sofa, as it can be quite overwhelming.

Throughout the entire design process, Amin was always on hand to answer our questions and guide us through the decisions, which made the whole experience so much easier.

And as for the sofa itself - it’s an absolute showstopper. Beautifully crafted, exactly the colour we wanted and it has completely transformed the room.

It definitely won’t be our last Raft sofa. No regrets whatsoever, we absolutely love it!

Complaint Regarding Deposit Refund and Complaint Handling
Raft Customer from London, Surrey is publishing this review following a prolonged dispute with Raft Furniture concerning the refund of a deposit paid towards furniture that, according to the customer, was never manufactured, not delivered.
The customer states that she contacted Raft Furniture to cancel the order and requested the return of her deposit. Despite repeated correspondence with members of Raft Furniture's sales and management team, the matter remained unresolved. The customer subsequently escalated the complaint through Resolver under case reference RES11098333 and sought assistance from an independent legal team.
The correspondence raises particular concern about Raft Furniture's insistence that the customer accept a credit note rather than repayment of the deposit. The customer does not accept a credit note as a satisfactory resolution and is seeking the return of the money paid.
On 19 December 2025, Mick Quinn, identified in the correspondence as a Director of Raft Furniture, responded to the Resolver escalation. His email stated that the customer could have a credit note and suggested that the parties meet in person to discuss her grievances. The customer considers this response inadequate because it does not resolve the central issue of repayment of the deposit.
The customer also disputes aspects of Mr Quinn's account of the events, including his characterisation of the reasons given for cancellation. The customer maintains that her circumstances following Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica formed part of the circumstances communicated to Raft Furniture and that the complaint was made in good faith.
The customer is particularly concerned that, after months of correspondence and escalation, the dispute has still not resulted in repayment of the deposit.
This review is therefore intended to place the chronology and the outstanding issue on record.
Resolution requested: Raft Furniture is asked to resolve the matter without further delay by:
Returning the deposit to the customer's original payment method, rather than requiring acceptance of a credit note.
Providing written confirmation of the refund and the date on which it will be processed.
Providing a formal written response addressing the complaint and the handling of the matter.
Reviewing the complaint-handling process so that the customer is not required to continue making repeated requests for resolution.
The customer remains willing to resolve the matter directly and professionally. The objective is straightforward: repayment of the disputed deposit and closure of the complaint without further unnecessary delay.
The customer has retained the relevant correspondence, including the Resolver case documentation and Raft Furniture's responses, should these be required for independent review.

I purchased the Raft four poster double bed so happy with it. The delivery service was excellent clean and tidy respectful in my property with shoes off at the door as it was pouring down rain outside.

I would recommend Raft to anyone who wants to buy with Raft this is my second house hold bed from Raft.

We have a narrow house and couldn't find anywhere that was selling the kind of sofas we wanted that could fit in our living room! Raft made it very easy - we got exactly the sofas we wanted and they all fitted in no problem. There's a small charge for the customisation but so worth it to get the sofas we wanted! Big range of fabrics too.

I have had several extremely productive and helpful discussions about purchases which were completed with absolutely no fuss. Clear concise communication and simple payment methods. When circumstances changed and I asked to return one of the (quite large) items there was no problem at all and the refund was back on my card the same day. No fuss no bother. If only it was always like this!

A star customer experience from Tony Ansong at Raft St Albans. We bought a dining stable and chairs and he advised us accordingly.He went out of his way to make sure we had our delivery on time, super impressed as this rarely happens with furniture companies!

I live in Richmond and loved our local beach of Raft which sadly closed last year. I decide to check out Westfield last week and was so happy to see the same great sales staff from Richmond! I met Amin Hadi when he was local but I was in the process of moving so not ready to buy. Amin helped me last week with the purchase of a new sofa and ottoman. He listened to what I was interested in and gave me time to think about decisions with no pressure. Also worth noting I have a very small front entrance and Amin talked me through all the access options which was a weight off my mind as I didn’t want to have to settle on my choice based on this constraint. It has been a great experience and I cannot wait for my furniture to arrive.

I have bought furniture from Raft (specifically Tony Ansong from the St Albans store) 4 times now. Tony and the entire Raft team are true professionals. The furniture is high quality, the fabrics really last and the delivery service is brilliant compared to other furniture companies. We are so glad we've invested in Raft vs cheaper options out there. A special mention has to go to Tony, the manager, who was fantastic from start to finish. He was incredibly patient and took the time to understand exactly what we wanted. The sofa was completely customised for us — from the filling and arm width to the length and every other detail. There were so many beautiful fabrics to choose from, which made the whole experience feel truly bespoke.

Tony’s team were excellent throughout as well. Communication was fantastic, and the delivery was smooth and hassle-free.

The sofa is honestly the best purchase we’ve made for our home so far. It looks amazing, it’s incredibly comfortable, and we love that it was made exactly to our preferences.
