Quantuma Arvostelua 

Quantuma managed the administration of 3 different businesses that we invested in and owed us substantive amounts. In all three cases, Quantuma only thought about their own interests and took every last penny for themselves, leaving creditors with nadda. Their high paid staff are shameless and greedy to the extreme.

My experiences with Quantuma have left me with very serious concerns about how administrations are handled and who ultimately benefits from the process.

A consistent problem is the extraordinary length of time administrations are engineered to run by Quantuma. Even in cases involving relatively small or straightforward businesses, timelines can extend to five years or more! Creditors are left in limbo for years with little clarity on when, or if, matters will conclude.

At the same time, the absurd fee model raises obvious concerns. Hourly rates charged by Quantuma are often several hundred pounds per hour. When that is applied across large volumes of recorded time over multi-year administrations, the total fees can escalate into the millions of pounds.

The outcome is predictable and, frankly, unacceptable. By the time fees and associated costs are pocked by Quantuma and their buddies, there is frequently little or nothing left for unsecured creditors. The very people the process is meant to protect end up bearing the loss, while the administrators enrich themselves!

This creates a clear misalignment of incentives. The longer a case runs, the more fees are generated. There is no obvious commercial pressure to conclude matters quickly if revenue is tied to time spent.

It is obviously the endless delays are deliberately built into the system to maximise the earnings for Quantuma!

Communication does little to offset this. Updates can be infrequent and lacking in detail, particularly around how time is being spent and why progress is slow. Creditors are expected to wait, often for years, without meaningful transparency.

No one expects instant resolutions. But when you repeatedly see multi-year timelines, incredibly high hourly rates, and minimal creditor recoveries, it is entirely reasonable to question whether the process is working as it should.

At best, this reflects a system that is very poorly aligned with creditor interests. At worst, it raises serious questions about whether value is being preserved or steadily extracted over time.

Either way, the result is the same: creditors wait years and receive little in return.

Shame on Quantuma. Your staff can enjoy the most luxurious offices and generous six-figure salaries based on the money you immorally take that is owed to creditors of these businesses, but you are disliked to the core and the universe will hold you accountable.

Being an investor of a company that Quantuma are acting as receivers/liquidators I can honestly say that they are a complete waste of time. They charge extremely high rates and drag their feet for pathetic reasons. Their communication is sporadic at best and they rarely give adequate information. This has been going on for five years, a competent professional company would take less than two.

An absolute sham of a company. The sheer incompetence and complete lack of communication during an already distressing redundancy process was unbelievable. They showed no care whatsoever for the people they were supposed to be supporting.

Francesca, in particular, was absolutely no help. No support, no clarity, no urgency—just silence when we desperately needed answers.

They failed to provide the correct information to the government, which delayed the money we were owed after being made redundant. They ignored our questions, dodged responsibility, and acted as though it wasn’t their problem. At one point they even tried to claim I wasn’t owed anything and refused to give me the CN code I needed to submit my claim—yet magically sent it over the moment I mentioned that my colleagues in the exact same situation had already received theirs. Completely unacceptable.

This company will let you down, leave you stressed, and refuse to take accountability for their own errors. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible company didn’t provide the correct information to help us get the money we were owed. Avoid!

This company are shocking they dealing with the administration of a solicitor we held a will at and basically they have lost the will!!! the staff are not bothered and have a I could not careless attitude, Unfortunately we have no choice but to deal with them as administrators but if you do have a choice please do not touch them!!

This company has been dragging out the administration of a well known peer to peer and property crowdfunding company for 5 years now. They have constantly increased their costs and are completely unresponsive to queries. Their behaviour on this project is nothing more than legitimised thievery

My company went into liquidation using Quantuma Advisory Glasgow. The liquidated company owes employees thousands in unpaid pensions. I was advised by ombudsman to communicate with liquidators but they have only responded once and then ignored every email since. I understand these things take time but it has been liquidation since April 2024.

Owed money from a liquidated company that Quantuma are now sorting out. It’s not redundancy money, which they tried to make me apply for - knowing full well I haven’t worked there for 2 years and wouldn’t be eligible. It’s PILON pay which a tribunal has ruled that I am to be paid. Because of this underhanded tactic, I’ve came to realise this is a dodgy company. The only time I spoke to them was when they answered the phone by accident, now they ignore my calls.

why can quantuma be allowed to administer FCA companies when there staff cannot reach the bench mark for registration , surely only companies that are registered to the FCA should administer FCAcompanies , hence the low star rating on Trustpilot

Beware this company will just lie repeatedly. They'll tell you they have one thing and then when you say show me they won't have it. This will include letters and more seriously funds.
They fail to keep proper records. Failed to tell me about 20% of funds thry were holding, tried to tell me that another 20% had been repaid when it hadn't. Just lie at every turn hoping you won't have the evidence to prove their lies so presumably in this case they could keep 40% of the funds.
They don't help, they bully and intimidate, particularly if they think you have any vulnerabilities that just makes them 100 times worse.
Very reluctant to tell you who they're regulated by as clearly too scared as know they're incompetent to the core.

Quantuma provide an extremely professional, thorough and pro-active service for customers, guiding you through complex processes using their considerable experience. They are very easy to work with, 100% trustworthy and I have no hesitation in recommending them

Deciding to liquidate our company right at the start for Covid clearly created a number of challenges for Quantuma. HMRC were far from responsive and slow to process even when the worst of the pandemic was over. Given this situation, I would have liked Quantuma to have been more proactive with HMRC and more communicative with company members but I do understand the unusual situation they were in. Having said all that, I found our liquidator himself supportive throughout.

10months of false promises. This lot need inspecting by their regulatoryy body. Not fit for purpose. Ashtray on a motorbike. Chocolate fireguard.

Horrifically slow, provides less than useful information to investors with no expectation of future timeframes or detail in recovering investments. +1 Year to date and none the wiser.

Slow, seem unable to get to bottom of anything. Communication is of the 'is difficult, please wait' kind - no real details. Promised dates slip.
