It’s a scam. Do not order from this website. Luckily my bank has given me the money back they scammed me out of. Constantly delaying delivery date, spent almost £300 and never got the money back. Spelling of all the emails is completely wrong and everything felt off as soon as I paid.

Extremely poor experience – avoid

Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been appalling.

It has now been over a month since I placed my order and I still do not have it. Throughout that time I have been given repeated assurances, changing delivery timeframes and promises that someone will “check and let me know”, only for days to pass with no further communication.

The tracking information has also done very little to reassure me. I have repeatedly been told that tracking would update or become active, yet the information provided has either been unclear or has not matched what I was being told directly by the company.

The most frustrating part has been the communication. Each time I chase, I seem to receive another reassurance or estimated timeframe, but very little in the way of concrete, verifiable information about where my order actually is.

I was initially concerned about whether the company was legitimate, and unfortunately the way this order has been handled has done very little to reassure me. I have since seen reviews from other customers describing similar issues with delays, tracking and communication, which is particularly concerning.

I don’t leave reviews like this lightly, but after more than a month of chasing and repeatedly being told that an update is coming, I think other potential customers deserve to know about my experience.

Based on my experience so far, I absolutely would not recommend this company.

If my order eventually arrives and the company resolves the situation properly, I will update this review accordingly.

Reading other people reviews im not convinced ill even receive a full bed!

We wish we had never used this company!

We placed our order on 7 July and after hearing nothing beyond the estimated delivery time, we chased up the status of our order by telephone and email. Calls went unanswered but we did receive an email response informing us that the bed frame was ready but the drawers were not. It was then agreed that the bed and drawers would be sent to us after we returned from holiday over a week later.

After our return, another week and a half went by with no bed or updates. After further chasers, we were eventually provided with tracking information on 12 August. The item then got stuck at the Polish depot for a few days and was eventually delivered on 20 August.

However, we have only received the bed frame with no slats and no drawers, making the bed completely unusable! We have since chased to find out the status of the missing parts but have not heard back and it is now over a week later. We now just want a full refund as we desperately need to move our toddler out of his cot.

I find it baffling that other reviews comment on great customer service. Our experience has been quite the opposite and we wish we hadn’t ordered from here. The whole process has been beyond frustrating.

If only responses to emails were as quick as they seem to be for bad reviews.

I placed an order at the end of July and have just received my second delivery, after having to chase the company multiple times because I genuinely feared I was being scammed.

Unfortunately, my concerns have not gone away. I now have two heavily damaged boxes containing what I can only describe as random pieces of wood and I still don’t have anywhere near enough parts to actually build a bed frame!

To make matters worse, I have received no instructions and no fixings, so I have absolutely no idea how many more parts are still missing or even whether I have received the correct components.

It is now late August and, after nearly a month, I still don’t have a usable bed. The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and the customer service has been shocking.

At this point, I simply want a full refund

If you’re considering ordering from this company, I would strongly recommend thinking twice

Had such a great experience with the customer service at I Am Sleepy, particularly Mike who was so helpful throughout. I needed to arrange a return after changing my mind about a bed, and he was really understanding and flexible in helping me get it sorted. Communication was clear, replies were really quick and everything was handled in such a friendly and personal way. Really appreciated Mike’s help and how easy he made the whole process!

The bed itself is lovely quality — solid wood, sturdy and exactly what I was looking for. It was also thankfully easy to assemble, as the instructions were missing from the package.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was let down by the delivery time and customer service. The bed took around four weeks to arrive. I was initially told it would be dispatched on 12/8, then 14/8, and eventually received a tracking number. However, it didn’t actually leave the warehouse until 18/8. Communication was a mixture of email and text messages. Mike was helpful and polite via email, and kindly upgraded my bed to the assembled version as a gesture for the delay, which I really appreciated. He also promised to include a little gift for my child as part of the gesture, but unfortunately this wasn’t included.
The text message communication was particularly frustrating. The person responding wouldn’t answer my calls and instead repeatedly texted asking me to explain the problem. There were also several different explanations given for the delays, including a server breakdown and being short-staffed.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the quality of the bed, but the long wait, multiple delays and what felt like false promises regarding dispatch made the experience disappointing. Mike has since compensated us with a further partial refund due to our experiences and should this company sort out their dispatch issues, I imagine they'll do very well as the quality is lovely.

Delivery took longer than expected, but the bed is absolutely beautiful. It is much better than we had anticipated in terms of quality and look. Highly recommend the product itself despite the delay!

Happy to be proven otherwise, but as of the 24th Aug I have still not received my item.
Payment was taken on the 4th August.
I was promised tracking information, which did eventually come through but the goods have not be handed across to the shipping company, or the tracking hasnt been updated.
I've emailed customer service and will await a reply and happily update this review if I feel it needs to reflect better.

Very helpful customer service. I accidentally ordered the wrong bed and contacted them via email to get the correct bed. They were quick to respond and very helpful.

We are very happy with our toddlers Montessori bed - it looks fabulous. Thank you so much.

Feedback has been really good and Mike\Michael chased up the situation and my parcel arrived yesterday. I was expecting slats with the bed, I haven't put it together yet but pleased to know it isn't a scam. A lot of the email correspondence went into junk so be sure to check this if you're experiencing something similar!

Starting to get really frustrated with my order. Payment came out of my account on the 24th July. Still no bedframe. Get given a tracking code which says has arrived in the UK but nothing further in terms of date of arrival. Trying to be understanding but starting to worry I am being messed about. Happy to change my review if it arrives but otherwise looking for a refund! This bed is for my 6 month old son and I cant transition him into his nursery without it. Upsetting service right now.

Great service ! The bed slats arrived faster than expected and the bed frame followed just a few days later

Very happy with post sales support. I text after I had an issue (my problem nothing to do with the bed, the bed is still excellent). I was offered a bespoke design that will fit my requirements and fix the issue I have. Would highly recommend!

My son loves his floor bed, it’s been a great transition from the cot!

There were some moments of poor customer service which made me lose confidence in the business, however, great effort was made on their part to rectify the situation, and in the end it was a good outcome for all.

Excellent customer service and communication so far! I’ve sent an enquiry about one of the products and if a bespoke size could be done. Mike responded promptly, professionally and offered extra support and suggestions.
Very happy with the pre-sales experience that I had so far and it made me decide to purchase from them.

We have the Lasse Duo Montessori Bed which we bought from another company years ago which has since closed down. As our toddler has got bigger we wanted to get the under storage drawers and house frame for the same bed. We enquired about getting these extra items and received fast responses and quotes the same day. The customer services team were really helpful and we are now awaiting the arrival of our delivery.

Beautiful bed. Arrived w/o bed base but problem was rectified asap.
